AAP’s billionaire Rajya Sabha nominee Sushil Gupta sends defamation notices to Kapil Mishra and others

Sushil Gupta, the billionaire Rajya Sabha nominee from Aam Aadmi Party has sent defamation notices to BJP MP Parvesh Verma, BJP leader Harish Khurana and former Delhi minister Kapil Mishra for their allegations against him.

Gupta has alleged that Mishra accused him of ‘buying’ his Rajya Sabha nomination.

Meanwhile, Mishra has been defiant in his stand on Gupta.

He even referred to one ‘Ghunghru Seth” of receiving notes as he got a ‘notice’.

BJP MLA Parvesh Verma, too, had accused Kejriwal of ‘selling’ Rajya Sabha seats for Rs. 100 crore.

Interestingly, founding members of Aam Aadmi Party, who are no longer associated with Aam Aadmi Party, had also been critical of this decision and implied that money had changed hands in the Rajya Sabha nomination. However, there are no such reports of defamation notices have been sent to them.

One wonders, what’s the deal?
