JKPCC President who had questioned the investigation earlier, now claims that he is satisfied

The JKPCC (Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee) President, GA Mir, did a u-turn on his earlier apprehensions regarding the CCB investigation in the Kathua rape case. We had earlier reported the details of JKPCC chief’s older statement where he had claimed that the wrong culprits had been caught and the investigation had been done shabbily by changing the agencies in a video uploaded in March. He had said that political scores were being settled through this case.


In a statement posted on his Twitter account, he said that the TV channels were broadcasting it with an intention to mislead the public. He claimed that the video was two months old and his party’s agitation had led to crime branch investigation. The full statement can be read below.
