Watch: Yogi Adityanath refuses to wear the Muslim skullcap at Sant Kabir’s Mazaar

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who was on an inspection visit to Sant Kabir’s Mazaar ahead of Prime Minister Modi’s visit in Sant Kabir Nagar district of UP, politely declined to wear the Muslim skullcap when the warden tried to put it on.

Earlier in 2011, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was then the Chief Minister of Gujarat, had also politely declined to wear the Muslim skullcap, which had triggered nationwide controversy.

Prime Minister Modi, who is scheduled to visit the Mazaar on Sant Kabir’s 500th death anniversary today, will pay floral tributes and visit the Sant Kabir Cave.
