Actor who said he would choose Quran over Constitution arrested for possession of drugs

Ajaz Khan was arrested earlier also for sending obscene photos and lewd texts

Former Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan has been arrested by the Mumbai Police from a hotel in Belapur, Maharashtra, for possession of drugs. As per reports, he was caught in possession of eight tablets of Ecstasy. He will be produced in the Court today.

Ajaz Khan was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Cell of Navi Mumbai Police. Ecstasy is a  recreational drug which is popular in rave parties.

He has been arrested in the past as well. In 2016, he was arrested for sending obscene photos and lewd texts to a hairstylist. He was later released on bail.

Ajaz Khan has also tweeted in the past that he would choose the Quran over the Constitution. Interestingly, he received much support from political players like Hardik Patel and leaders from the Aam Aadmi Party and even people from Pakistan following his tweet.

Ajaz Khan has appeared in several movies and television serials and came into limelight after appearing in reality game show Bigg Boss session 7.

We have reported in the past that Ajaz Khan has also been using Facebook to spread ideas which could be labelled as hate speech and an effort to vitiate communal harmony.
