National Conference leader Javed Ahmed Rana has claimed that he will put PM Modi behind bars while speaking at a meeting in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. Rana said if it was up to him, he would put PM Modi in jail for all the murders that have been committed in Jammu and Kashmir and the rest of the country.
#WATCH National Conference leader, Javed Ahmed Rana, in Poonch: Khuda ki kasam, agar mera bas chale, to mai is desh ke pradhanmantri ke khilaf, jitne bhi qatl hue hain Jammu-Kashmir mein aur desh mein, mai isko qatl ke case mein andar thok dunga. (27.03.19) pic.twitter.com/o5wD5YDCzO

Rana called PM Modi a murderer of humanity and accused him of creating disharmony between Hindus and Muslims. “‘Ye katil hain. Mai ye kehta hun bar bar kehta hun. Ye insaniyat ke katil hain. Inhone Hindu-Muslim parampara ko khatam kiya hai”, alleged Rana.

National Conference leaders Omar Abdullah and his father Farooq Abdullah have so far been silent on these remarks. As per reports, Javed Rana’s rant is being seen as a reflection of fear among the political opponents as PM Modi is soon going to address a rally in Akhnoor.
Along with PM Modi, Rana also blamed the media for spreading hate in the country for a “particular community”. “Allah ki kasam kha ke kehta hun mujhe power mile taaqat mile. Main desh ke Pradhan Mantri ko andhar thokun aur uske sath ye jo media hai jo nafrate faila rhi hai is desh mein, ek particular community ke khilaf nafrat failati hai yahan baith ke Delhi me, main un sab ko andar thokun”, said Rana.
He said that if he comes to power he will show what leadership means. “Kaash Allahtala vo waqt laye aur main dikhaun ke kya hoti hai leadership”, he added.
This is not the first time that Rana is using such crass language for PM Modi, he had earlier called a terrorist and held him responsible for killing lakhs of people in Gujarat. He had even threatened that he would not allow the tricolour to be hosted in the State if Article 370 was abolished by the Central government.
Rana has always been a loud mouth in NC and is often in the news for his separatist and sometimes outlandish statements. Last year he had claimed that stone pelters in Kashmir are the creation of the government and the RSS.
National Conference will be contesting the Lok Sabha elections in an alliance with Congress party.
