Sheikh Khalifa awards Prime Minister Modi the prestigious Zayed Medal

Prime Minister Modi conferred with an award for strengthening ties between India and the UAE.

The United Arab Emirates has awarded Prime Minister Modi with the highest civilian honour for boosting the relations between India and the Emirates.

Taking to Twitter to congratulate Prime Minister Modi, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, said the Indian Prime Minister had played a pivotal role in enhancing bilateral ties to the level of comprehensive strategic relations. The Zayed Medal is the highest decoration awarded to kings, presidents and heads of states.
