“Male passengers, driver, conductors sat as mute spectator,” woman narrates harrowing experience on Mumbai bus

Nakhua said that the male co-passengers in the bus sat there as mute spectators while Nakhua herself took on the accused.

Vaishali Nakhua, a Mumbai resident today took to Twitter to share her harrowing experience on a bus in Mumbai. Nakhua was taking a public bus in Mumbai when one Amit Sanse allegedly took her picture and video recorded her without her permission. Nakhua confronted him and saw he had been taking videos and pictures of other women passengers without their knowledge as well.

She adds that the accused came and sat parallel to her in the bus. When she caught him taking her picture, she snatched his phone.

She adds how the male co-passengers in the bus sat there as mute spectators while Nakhua herself took on the accused.

“The only offered by driver – conductor was “let’s take bus to police station”, she tweets. OpIndia has reached out to Vaishali Nakhua for a comment and we shall update the report once we have more information.
