SFJ accuses Russian embassy in Canada of ‘helping India’ in assassinating Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, announces $25K reward to track down Indian and Russian Ambassadors

'Sikhs for Justice' further alleged that the Russian Embassy provided the location of terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun to RA&W and facilitated a 'foiled murder-for-hire plot.'

The banned Khalistani outfit ‘Sikhs for Justice’ (SFJ) has now accused the Russian Embassy in Canada of aiding in the assassination of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

On Wednesday (18th December), SFJ claimed that the Russian Embassy ‘hacked’ the Telegram account of Nijjar in May 2023 and passed on information gathered by it to India’s Intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RA&W).

The terror outfit further alleged that the Russian Embassy provided the location of terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun to RA&W and facilitated a ‘foiled murder-for-hire plot.’

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has also claimed that high-ranking Indian diplomats, serving in the US and Canada, are conducting surveillance and running spy networks to ‘monitor’ and ‘suppress’ Khalistani movements in the countries.

Additionally, Sikhs for Justice has now announced a $25000 reward for tracking down Russian Ambassador Oleg V. Stepanov in Canada and Indian Ambassador Vinay Mohan Kwatra in the United States.

Previously, Pannun had threatened to attack Russian missions across the world and media houses RT India and Sputnik India for running a ‘disinformation campaign’ against the Khalistan movement.

Response of the Russian Embassy

The Russian Embassy in Canada has junked the outlandish allegations levelled by the banned Khalistani terror outfit.

In a statement, it clarified, “We will raise the issue of this group’s dangerous activities with Global Affairs Canada and the RCMP. Tracking chiefs of foreign missions and offering a reward for such actions is absolutely unacceptable and could be seen as a step toward planning a terrorist attack.”

“We will request law enforcement action against this group and also seek enhanced protection for the Embassy, as required by the Government of Canada under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations,” the embassy further added.
