Did 1.3 lakh people together chant Hanuman Chalisa in Narendra Modi stadium before the ICC Cricket World Cup final?

India entered the title clash undefeated in 10 matches in the tournament.

In a previous version of this report, we had reported that during the ICC World Cup Final match in Ahmedabad, the crowd chanted the Hanuman Chalisa together. Our report was based on a Zee News report. An archive version of the report can be read here.

Upon further inquiry, it is evident that in this instance, the crowd did not chant the Hanuman Chalisa.

This report, therefore, stands withdrawn.
