Two Karnataka government officials suspended for not inviting minister Priyank Kharge to a Gram Panchayat event in Mangalore

0

Two Karnataka government officials were suspended for not inviting State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (RDPR) Minister Priyank Kharge to an event in Mangalore on 31st July, Monday. The officials, Moodbidri Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Dayavathi and Iruvail Gram Panchayat Panchayat Development Officer Kanthappa were suspended for violation of protocol.

The event was the inauguration of Iruvail panchayat’s new building. Kharge’s name was allegedly not printed on the invitation cards for the inauguration. BJP MLA for Moodbidri Umanath Kotian hit out at the Congress government saying that the officials had followed the protocol guidelines issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) office.

Kotian issued a warning saying that if the orders are not withdrawn, a protest will be held outside the office of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat office Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Anand K. He alleged that the event itself was cancelled.

The CEO reportedly said, “The revocation proposal will be sent to the government by today or tomorrow. If the government considers it positively, they will take a decision on suspension revocation.”

Kotian called out the move before Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at a public meeting. “As per instructions from the DC office, the invitation cards were printed and guest names were mentioned which included the Assembly Speaker UT Khader’s name.” he said.

CEO Anand K reportedly told the media that “It’s not about the minister attending the event. When an invitation card is printed, a protocol has to be followed. Not only printing, but the minister also needs to be personally invited after printing names on the card.”

Kotian said that the invitation did not exclude any names. “Fearing disciplinary action both the EO and PDO postponed the programme. Yet they both were placed under suspension”, he said. Kotian also questioned the rule requiring a minister to be invited to gram panchayat events.

Taking a jibe at the government, Kotain said, “Is it possible for the minister to attend every programme? Isn’t the district-in-charge minister enough for local-level Panchayat programmes?”

Priyank Kharge, son of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, has consistently managed to make headlines ever since becoming a minister. Earlier in June, Congress MLA Priyank Kharge publicly displayed his camaraderie with Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair by referring to the latter as ‘chief.’

Kharge heads the same IT and biotechnology Departments, which were entrusted to set up the ‘fact-checking unit comprising Alt News, Boom Live, E Din, Logical(ly), etc.

Pradeep Kumar was rescued from Nalhar temple, beaten to death while on his way back by Muslim mob: eyewitness recounts horror to OpIndia

On Monday, July 31, 2023, Islamists went on a rampage in the Nuh region in Haryana’s Mewat, area, famously called ‘mini-Pakistan’. The violence took place during the Jalabhishek Yatra taken out by members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad on the auspicious Monday of the Shravan month.

Whatever the Liberals and Islamists may do to defend the Muslim mob that attacked Hindus in Nuh, Haryana, the first-hand accounts from the innocent Hindus who fell victim to this planned Islamist onslaught have a different tale to tell.

Reports suggest that two home guards and a sweetmaker named Shakti Saini were killed along with Bajrang Dal member Abhishek Rajput in the July 31 violence. Another Hindu who fell prey to this barbarity unleashed by the bloodthirsty Muslims was a Bajrang Dal activist named Pradeep Kumar.

Pradeep Kumar, as per an eyewitness account, was rescued safely from the Nalhar temple, where several Hindus were hiding to save themselves from the Islamist mob, and brought to the Nuh police lines. The Islamists, however, ruthlessly killed him on Tuesday, August 1, while he was returning from the police station.

Kapil Tyagi, another Bajrang Dal activist who was accompanying Pradeep Kumar when he was attacked and killed, spoke to Opindia. Recalling how the murderous Islamist mob launched a vicious attack on their car while they were returning from Nuh police lines in the early hours of Tuesday, Kapil Tyagi said that it appeared as if these Islamists were waiting in ambush the entire night. “When they saw our car, they launched a murderous attack on us. Pradeep Kumar, who could not defend himself due to being badly injured, died.” Kapil Tyagi also suffered a lot of injuries in this attack and is undergoing treatment.

According to Kapil Tyagi, he and Pradeep were taken to the Nuh police station after being rescued by the police from the Nalhar temple. After keeping them at the police station for a few hours, at around 2 am on Tuesday (August 1), the police asked them to go back to their respective homes. They told Kapil and Pradeep that a police van would escort them to Gurugram.

Kapil Tyagi further recalled how Pradeep Kumar offered to drive back. They sat in Kapil Tyagi’s Swift Dzire. Three women Bajrang Dal activists, who were also brought to the police station along with Pradeep and Kapil, sat in the back seat of the car. Pradeep volunteered to drop them home first.

Furthering narrating the horror that befell them on Tuesday night, Kapil Tyagi said that when they left the police station their colleagues followed them in another Ertiga car while a police van escorted them. After covering a short distance, the police asked the Bajrang Dal members to proceed on their own. They assured them that the police officers stationed in the Sohna area had done all required security checks and the route was clear. Kapil said that even though he urged the police to follow them further, the latter insisted that they proceed on their own. The police suggested they take the route along the border area.

According to Kapil Tyagi, the route they took was mostly deserted. They had only travelled a short distance without the police when an unfamiliar speeding Scorpio car started following them. Their car must have travelled only a kilometre or two, when, suddenly the Scorpio car intercepted them. Within seconds, from nowhere, a mob of around 300-400 Islamists, including children and aged, came and started pelting stones at their car, said Kapil, adding that the stones went and hit the women passengers sitting in the back seat of his car. Kapil asked the ladies to quickly get out of the car and run and hide somewhere to save their lives.

Meanwhile, one stone pierced through the windscreen of the car and hit Pradeep Kumar, who was sitting in the driver seat, on his head. Pradeep immediately fell unconscious.

Kapil, who sounded horrified recalling what unfolded on that dreadful night, stated that he hurriedly jumped out of the car and attempted to confront the mob. The mob, however, dragged him and started assaulting him. Some people in the mob opened the car door, dragged Pradeep Kumar out, and started to beat him as well. The women most likely hid nearby, he said.

The Bajrang Dal activist said that he kept trying to escape the clutches of the Islamists but every time he tried to do that they caught hold of him and thrashed him even more fiercely. The mob also rained stones at the Ertiga car, which was following their car, but his colleagues somehow managed to escape.

Kapil said that his fellow Bajrang members travelling in the Ertiga car rushed ahead and alerted the police officers stationed at the nearby junction about the attack that was taking place. The police rushed to the spot as soon as they got the information. Seeing the police vans, the mob started fleeing, said Kapil, adding that he faintly remembers that the police rescued him and the women who were hiding nearby and took them to a hospital nearby.

Kapil added that he, himself was injured so badly that he does not remember how Pradeep was saved by the police and when was he taken to the hospital. He added that while he was recuperating in the hospital he learnt that Pradeep Kumar succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi.

While narrating what transpired, Kapil Tyagi told us that he continues to be perplexed by how the Muslim mob was able to obtain such accurate information about the exact time they left the police station and the route they were taking to return home.

Pradeep Kumar, a resident of the Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh, was an office bearer of the Bajrang Dal unit in Gurugram. Being the sole breadwinner of his family, he used to do odd jobs to support them. People associated with the Gurugram unit of Bajrang Dal said that the police will be sending the deceased’s body directly to his native village Baghpat after the autopsy is done and other legal formalities are completed.

As the religious procession came under attack in Nuh, Haryana on July 31, 2023, Hindu devotees revealed to OpIndia and several other platforms that stones were pelted at them from the rooftops, young Muslim boys and men had taken to the mountainous area and were shooting at them from the peaks, acid bottles were thrown at them and several women were harassed. During the violence, several women and children (ranging anywhere between 2000-2500) had taken shelter at the Temple and were rescued only hours later by the police.

OpIndia reported how another Bajrang Dal activist named Abhishek Rajput was shot dead in the violence that the mob unleashed against thousands of Hindu devotees who were participating in the VHP Shobha Yatra on Monday. After shooting Abhishek Rajput, Islamists slit his throat with a sharp weapon and crushed his head with stones, the extent of brutality which is normally associated with terror outfits like the Taliban.

Notably, it has been revealed about Nuh violence that its preparations were being done for 6 months. During the attack, AK-47 was fired on the people surrounding the temple premises. A 14-year-old boy was also shooting.

Islamists in Nuh used WhatsApp groups to gather stones and glass bottles for attacking Hindu procession: Report

While Islamists and their supporters had widely used social media platforms to mobile rioters, a report published by Hindustan Times sheds light on the extent the assailants went in the nefarious designs to attack Hindu processions in Haryana’s Muslim-majority region of Nuh.

As early as July 21, roughly ten days before the Jalabhishek Yatra was to take place, Islamists had been scheming to attack the devotees, laying elaborate plans on how to go about with their evil ploy.

Those arrested by the police over the violence that erupted in Nuh earlier this week have revealed in their interrogation that meetings were held and WhatsApp groups were created, and responsibilities were assigned to group leaders to collect stones and bottles to attack Hindu processions between July 21 to July 23, yet another corroboration of the preplanned nature of the violence that has engulfed the region since July 31.

Collecting stones and glass bottles was an easy task, the report quoted one of the local residents from Nuh who attended one such meeting as saying. Requesting anonymity for fear of retaliation from the rioters, the resident said local shops chiefly sold glass cold drink bottles, which made the task of arranging them easy. Additionally, the villagers in the region had been instructed beforehand to store stones for the purpose as well.

Another resident, who also requested to maintain anonymity, said that they had participated in arranging motorbikes to marshal the mob. He added that they had managed to gather over 200 bikes and took precautions by painting their registration plates with black paint to avoid police detection. Additionally, they managed to arrange around 3,000 glass bottles, with the majority intended to be used as projectiles. Some of the bottles were filled with petrol for more damaging effects. These prepared items were then distributed to different groups assigned to target the procession.

How the cover of ‘Monu Manesar attending the rally’ was used to perpetuate violence against Hindu procession

The report also highlighted how instigators rallied Islamists to attack the Hindu processions by fearmongering over Monu Manesar even though the police were yet to pinpoint his alleged role in the killing of Junaid and Nasir—who were abducted and subsequently killed on suspicion of cow smuggling.

Police officers from Haryana quoted in the Hindustan Times report have said that Monu Manesar has been on the run ever since the Rajasthan Police booked him in the abduction and murder of two Muslim cattle traders. His whereabouts, they claimed, were unknown and they were not aware of the location and time where he filmed the videos or the source from which he uploaded them.

The police officers hinted that Monu Manesar could have just been a scapegoat used by the rioters to rally the mob and indulge in violence against the participants of the procession. A senior officer from Haryana police said their numerous attempts to locate Monu Manesar at his residence or other potential hideouts have been in vain. The officer further stated that despite the challenges, their teams are persistently making efforts to track him down.

Mewat Shobha Yatra attack

On Monday, violence broke out in Haryana’s Nuh district during the ‘Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra,’ which was organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal. The death toll from the clashes has now reached 5, including two personnel from the Haryana home guard. The deputy commissioner urged people to stay indoors, venture outside only for essential tasks, and disregard any circulating rumours.

Vehicles were burnt and stones pelted at the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Jalabhishek Yatra as clashes erupted between two communities in the Muslim-majority region of Mewat in Haryana.

“Religious Brajmandal Yatra” organized annually by Bajrang Dal, Islamic Jihadis pelted heavy stones, violence, arson and direct bullets from the hills on the pilgrims on the ancient “Religious Yatra” of Nallahad Shiv Temple, the centre of faith and reverence of Hindus in Nuh, Mewat. In which hundreds of vehicles were damaged and burnt to ashes,” said a statement shared by Bajrang Dal on Twitter.

Earlier, VHP leaders had asserted that the violence was preplanned and that the conspiracy to attack their procession had been hatched well in advance. Speaking to OpIndia, the VHP leader present in Nuh when the violence erupted shared details about the attack on the religious yatra. He alleged that it was a planned attack and the mob had collected stones two days prior to the Shobha Yatra. He added that the mob had a clear intention of attacking Hindus during the religious procession.

The Islamist mob also attacked and desecrated several Hindu temples in the region, the VHP leader added.

Another VHP leader who narrowly escaped death at the hands of Islamists said, “It was indeed preplanned. From their preparations, it did not appear like the spur-of-the-moment eruption of violence but a carefully planned, well-thought-out conspiracy to trap Hindus and kill them. 15-year-old boys were sitting on their knees and firing at us.”

Media starts its usual trope to shield Islamists, talks about Hindus being saved by Muslims while they were under attack by a Muslim mob in Nuh

In the midst of the massive violence in Nuh in Haryana which erupted after the Muslim mob attacked the Jalabhishek procession organized by Hindus in Mewat region, several media reports are making attempts to shield or defend the community who pelted stones in the first place at a Mahadev temple and the participants of the procession.

In one such attempt media channels like the Times of India and the ABP news have highlighted that two members from a Hindu family and a female police officer were protected and escorted by a Muslim family from the violent mob amid the clashes in Nuh. The reports indicated that Muslims were of help to Hindus amid the ruckus further trying to play down the fact that the violence was erupted by the Islamists in the city.

Residents of Sohna, Karan Singh and his son Vivek were in Nuh for some work after which they decided to visit the temple and be a part of the Jalabhishek Yatra. However, as the Islamists attacked the yatra, the father-so duo were dragged out of their car and thrashed by the violent mob. After this, the duo ran for their lives and found shelter in a Muslim joint family of around 15 members.

Later a female cop also arrived at the spot to save her life from the violent attacking mob. The Muslim family provided the three with food, shelter and also protected them from the attacking crowd. Later they were escorted after the situation turned calm after a few hours.

Interestingly, the reports stated that the Muslim family provided the Hindus also with some Muslim-looking clothes. The woman cop was given a burqa and the father-son duo were provided with some T-shirts which had Muslim symbols imprinted on them. As per the reports, this was to save the three from the attackers who were indicatively Islamists. The Muslim family probably speculated that the attackers might spare the father-son duo and the woman cop after seeing them in Muslim clothes.

While the gesture by the family towards the victims is appreciative and worth lauding, it is important to note that the violence erupted in the city only after the Islamists attacked the Jalabhishedk procession. Further, while the reports clearly mention that the family helping the Hindus belonged to the Muslim community, they fail to highlight that the attacking men in the Nuh region also belonged to the Muslim community, slightly trying to shield the attackers.

Singh and Vivek after being sent safe by the Muslim family went to fetch their car but saw it torched. Their phones and other important documents were also set ablaze by the violent crowd who earlier had thrashed the duo. The police then escorted the two back to their home in Sohna.

What happened in Nuh that day?

It was reported earlier that several devotees were stuck at various locations including Nuh temples, chowk, and near the police station after the mob raising slogans of “Allahu Akbar” attacked the Yatra in a planned manner. Following the violence, VHP president Alok Kumar had urged the police and administration to quickly rescue the devotees stressing that the yatra is an annual affair and this year it was targeted in a planned and organised manner.

The VHP members also highlighted that the mob had targeted the procession in an organised manner as a result of this many devotees had turned hostage finding shelter to protect themselves from stone pelting and gunshots. According to media reports, around 2500 people had taken shelter in a temple near Gurugram.

However, the Nuh Police informed to OpIndia that all the Hindus who were trapped in the temple were rescued and that they had been sent home safely. A total of 5 people, including 2 Home Guard personnel, were killed in this violence. The others who have been brutally killed have been identified as Bajrang Dal activist Abhishek Rajput and sweet seller Shakti Saini.

Abhishek and Saini brutally killed by Islamists in Nuh

The Islamists dragged the sweet seller from his shop, murdered him and then threw him away. In case of Abhishek Rajput, the brutality escalated as the Islamists first shot him dead, slit his throat with a sharp weapon and then crushed his head with stones. The rescued Hindu devotees also narrated the eye-witnessed incident and stated that the attackers used AK-47 to fire at the devotees. “14-year-olds were using weapons. They had planned the attack for over six months.” The victims also said the bullets brushed several injured people’s stomachs, legs and thighs.

The brutality of the murderous attack at Nuh by the Islamists can’t even be imagined but what the media reports like the BBC, NDTV chose to report is all about the Mosque set ablaze in Gurugram. A ‘mosque’ was allegedly set ablaze on Monday (July 31) night in Sushant Lok Phase-III in Sector 59 of Gurugram claimed a life as verified from the FIR copy that has been obtained by OpIndia.

However, it is important to note that the mosque identified as the Anjuman Imam Masjid was a disputed structure built on ‘government-allocated land’ in the New Gurugram area. The construction of the mosqe was also stopped by the courts on several occasions.

BBC, NDTV shielding Islamists?

While reporting about the matter, the NDTV played down the violence in Nuh and claimed that the procession organized by Hindus sparked off the violence. “Organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad, the Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra sparked off a communal clash that has claimed five lives and left at least 70 injured. The dead include two security personnel and two civilians, a mosque’s cleric among them,” it reported. However, no mentions of other Hindus deceased in Nuh could be found.

Report by NDTV

Also, the BBC which is known for its anti-India bias, claimed that the violence in Nuh erupted after the Hindus took out the procession. Mentioning clearly about the mosque in Gurugram and the death aligned, BBC reported, “A mosque was set on fire and a Muslim cleric killed during religious clashes that broke out after a procession by Hindu nationalist groups in the northern Indian state of Haryana. Violence broke out on Monday afternoon during a procession taken out by the Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad.”

BBC report

The BBC also attempted to hold Bajrang Dal’s Monu Manesar responsible for the violence as it said, “Manesar is a well-known cow vigilante who regularly uploads videos of himself questioning cattle transporters. In recent years, cattle traders – many of them Muslim – have been assaulted by Hindu vigilante groups as the animal is venerated in the religion.”

The report also stated that a temple and several cars in Nuh were attacked by the mob but forgot to mention that the mob belonged to the Muslim community, again clearly shielding the attackers.

Muslims were highlighted as ‘saviours’ during 2020 DJ Halli riots

Notably, this is not the first time when the media has attempted to downplay an anti-Hindu violence by specifically reporting that Muslims had helped the Hindus during the ruckus. Earlier in the year 2020 when the DJ Halli riots happened, several media reports had noted that Muslim youths had formed a human chain to guard a temple during the violence that erupted in Bengaluru. The reports claimed that the Muslims ensured that the temple stays protected from the riots that broke out after protests erupted over a social media post allegedly insulting Prophet Muhammad. “We live as brothers, sisters,” the Muslims were quoted as saying by the Print.

As reported earlier, the violence claimed the lives of three persons and left several more injured. After the incident, the enraged crowd also attempted to set the police station on fire.

The Muslim mob, carrying petrol bombs and other weapons barged into the nearby police quarters and attacked the premises. The Muslim mob was also seen raising Islamic slogans like ‘Allah-hu-Akbar’ and ‘Nara-e-Taqbeer’ outside the police station. Around 9 FIRs were registered in the case. However, in September 2020 the case was taken over by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for further investigation.

Rioting Muslim mob in Bengaluru

Media was exposed claiming ‘Muslims helped install new idols at the temple’ in Delhi in 2019

Also, in the year 2019 after the Muslims caused deliberate damage to a Hindu temple in Delhi, one photo of Muslims serving food to the Hindus had taken the media by storm. In the event organized by VHP for the ‘Praan Pratishtha’ of the idols, the photograph of 2-3 Muslim men serving food to the Hindus in the Hauz Qazi was highlighted by the media.

Image that had gone viral in 2019

CNN News 18 reported that the Muslims of Hauz Qazi were distributing food during the consecrated ceremony in a show of communal harmony. Hindustan Times further reported claiming “Muslims helped install new idols at the temple”.

Later it was revealed that the Pran Pratishtha event was organized by the VHP and the Muslims of Hauz Qazi had not paid any amount towards the event. Hence, the reports that Muslims ‘helped install new idols’ in the Durga Temple were proved as outright lies.

Naeem helped 7-8 Hindus during Delhi riots

In 2020, a media report by India Times reported how Naeem Ali Pradhan, 34, from Shiv Vihar, helped at least 7-8 Hindus on the night of February 24 when the anti-CAA violence was at its peak escape to safer locations.

“I saw them. They were Hindus who were trying to escape a mob looking to target them. They had lost their way inside the streets of our colony. I along with other Muslim men escorted them to the nearby Hindu locality,” Naeem, who was also a member of the Aman Committee constituted by the Delhi police was quoted as saying.

On the 24th and 25th of February 2020, India’s national capital Delhi saw large-scale anti-Hindu riots which marked the culmination of the hostility, hatred, and anger spread by the anti-CAA protests by the Islamists in Shaheen Bagh and other areas. Shahdara, Maujpur, Bhajanpura, Brahmapuri, and other parts of northeast Delhi witnessed violence perpetrated by the Islamists. 53 people died in these riots while more than 200 people were left injured.

While many people wish to look at the Delhi Riots 2020 in isolation, the sequence of events starting right from the 1st of December 2019 proves otherwise. It proves that the violence was a concerted effort to push India toward anarchy. It proves that the Delhi Riots was no anti-Muslim pogrom, it was indeed, a well-oiled plan against Hindus.

OpIndia had extensively covered the anti-Hindu riots, which were falsely presented by the mainstream media as an anti-Muslim pogrom, and established facts documenting tragic cries of Hindus which would otherwise have gone unheard.

Conclusion

The Indian mainstream media seems to have always performed its ‘bias’ to sympathize the minority communities under the guise of being ethical, liberal and unbiased. Media have allegedly humanized terrorists, criminals in the past and published copies of their family member’s emotions supressing the crimes of these accused persons ‘unknowingly’.

According to the ‘liberal’ media who at times ‘fails’ to speak the truth, only seasoned criminals who fight against India’s interests, murder Hindus, and Jihadis who actively pursue ‘teaching Kafirs a lesson’ are granted the distinction of being portrayed as saints. But when a Hindu is brutally murdered by these very persons, they not only proceed to humanise the murderer but dehumanise the Hindu victim. And this trend has remained unchallenged for years now.

Siwan: Hindu man converts to Islam after falling in love with a Muslim girl, family alleges he was forced to convert

0

A case of grooming jihad has emerged from Bihar’s Siwan where a Hindu man was allegedly trapped by a Muslim girl following which he converted to Islam and became a maulana (a Muslim cleric). The photos of the victim as a maulana were then made viral by the accused, Roji Khatun, in the locality.

The family of the man, named Shravan Kumar, has levelled charges of forced religious conversion. The victim belongs to a village in Mirganj of Gopalganj district. He currently resides in Miskar Toli in Maurwa.

In a video, Shravan Kumar said that his decision to convert is his own and not under any pressure. He said that he is of legal age to decide for himself. Similar words were uttered by the accused Roji Khatun when she spoke to the media.

The victim’s mother has alleged that Roji Khatun trapped Shravan in an affair and eloped with him some seven months ago. He was then converted, made a maulana, and sent to a madrasa. His distressed mother has appealed to the administration to bring her son back.

Meanwhile, the accused has reportedly said that Shravan Kumar was only her friend and nothing more. And that she does not know much about him. She said that Shravan Kumar is a grown-up and knows what he wants to do. “He is not a child that someone will trap him. He is a 23-year-old boy”, Roji Khatun told the media.

Siwan SDPO Firoz Aalam has said that the case is linked to a love affair but investigation is underway after which details will be more clear. Shravan Kumar’s father Pradeep Chauhan reportedly settled in Maurwa nine years ago from Harpur in Gopalganj for work and children’s studies.

Shravan is the eldest of three brothers and was employed in a shop in Maurwa. He had reportedly met Roji some three to four years ago.

UK grooming gangs Part 2: Dear Islamist appeasers of the UK, it is not racist to establish the identity of rapists, but it is racist indeed to appropriate it

In part one of the UK grooming gang series, we documented and compiled the details of the sinister Islamist grooming gangs across UK cities which preyed on minor girls, and sometimes even boys, who were mostly white.

There was an utter lack of sincerity and willingness across authorities and even on the part of elected representatives. The police and the administration’s take-for-granted attitude abetted the brutal gang rape and murder of Britain’s girls as they were treated like commodities for decades.

In part two of the UK grooming gang series, we will be exposing and commenting on the political correctness that ails ‘great Britain’ which kept the victims suffering at the hands of perpetrators. The report draws attention to the point that how being a mute spectator for the sake of political grandstanding has abetted the torture the victims were subjected to.

Besides negligence, one of the key detriments to justice was political correctness. The blatant denial by an entire administration right from care homes management, to the police, and government authorities added insult to injury. By all accounts and merits of the cases, most of the gang members were Muslims, of Pakistani descent.

Of the Muslims, most were British Pakistanis. And this very specific detail of the identity of the accused had the power to conceal the truth, to cast doubt on the truth, to alter the facts, to whitewash the crimes, to belittle the victims, and to render an entire police and legal administration blind, and powerless. Of the victims, most were white and some Asian.

Authorities didn’t act for fear of appearing racist

According to an 18-month-long investigation by the Sunday Mirror, Telford authorities refused to keep details of abusers for fear of “racism”. One of the victims, now in her 50s, said that she had reported the abuse to the council but believes no action was taken. Her doctor reportedly termed her “mentally ill” and said she should take medication.

A 2013 report published by the Telford and Wrekin Council read, “From the late 1990s professionals had concerns about the nature of some of the child sexual abuse cases presented to them.” Another UK media report on the Telford investigation says that “exploitation was not investigated because of nervousness about race”.

A witness account alleges that the police were too scared to question or challenge the perpetrators because of the ethnicity of the accused which put the cops at the risk of being labelled “racist”. There were also fears of racial tensions that could be flamed by “Asian men”.

Social workers who did attempt to report the crime were even sent for race relations courses and were threatened with disciplinary action if they didn’t refrain from mentioning the Pakistani identity of the accused.

So careful and mindful were the British local authorities that they even reportedly refrained from registering the ethnicity of the accused. 200 potential abusers were identified in Operation Chalice from 2010-2012 but merely nine have been jailed.

In September 2016, Conservative party MP Lucy Allan called for a public inquiry into the abuse cases but police and council officials in Telford wrote to then Home Secretary Amber Rudd saying this isn’t necessary.

An Independent Inquiry into the Telford Child Sexual Exploitation was published in 2022. It read, “The Inquiry heard that teachers with management responsibility had sought to raise the issue of child exploitation with Council officers, telling the Council that there is a problem in this authority with Pakistani youths – only to be accused of being racist by a Council officer.”

Witnesses also told the inquiry that the barbaric murder of Lucy Lowe was well-known in a particular school and kept the children in fear of speaking out. “Every single one [of] our girls that was involved with the Pakistani community in any kind of part of their lives that we might be concerned about, and might be talking to them about, they were all clamming up big time because,… Lucy had lost her life. And they knew…”

What is more damning is that these reports are far from being the first or second or even third. A number of inquiries were commissioned in the 1990s in Telford. One such report submitted on September 1999 read, “a lot of activity at [Premises A], Wellington involving Asian males and young girls [and] it is suspected that the girls are being used at [the] flat as prostitutes.”

“Two Pakistani men (I/D unknown) are ‘running’ two girls (prostitutes) from a flat… [in proximity to Premises A], Wellington. This has been going on for about 6 months. There are frequent male visitors to the flats… 6-7 men a day visit. There is a connection to [certain] telephone boxes within half a mile radius of Premises A”, the report read.

One of the Telford reports too has been criticized for repeatedly using the term “south Asian heritage”. In Rotherham, of all the cases, the ethnicity of the perpetrators was omitted in 67% of them.

Lucy was 16 years old when her abuser set her home on fire. Her mother and sister were killed in the incident. Though the accused taxi driver, identified as Azhar Ali Mehmood, was jailed by the court for the murder charges, he was never prosecuted for the sex offenses.

When Lucy was just 14 years old, she gave birth to a child. When she died, she was again pregnant. During the investigation, the chair found that one particular school was well aware of Lucy’s murder, and the children were intimidated from making any complaints about the matter. One of the witnesses said in a statement that the girls of that particular school were aware of Lucy’s murder and scared to talk about it.

In Newcastle in 2017, the then Chief Constable Steve Ashman of the Northumbria police, which was drawing flak for paying a convicted child rapist £10,000 to gather intel on the grooming gangs, said, “I don’t think it’s for me to point the finger at a particular community.” As for paying a convict, Ashman said he would do it again to get evidence against the accused.

Despite clear knowledge of the direct involvement of Pakistani grooming gangs, that the gruesome crime went on like business as usual is shocking, to say the least. Such has been the sheepish response from a country that a few decades ago practiced some sort of divine right on the colonies. It seems that once a ‘great’, Britain’s shoulders had become too droopy a long time ago to bear the “white man’s burden”.

When political grandstanding overpowered the truth

Political complicity in shielding the identity of the rapists, too, was exposed with the serious charges of deliberate ignorance leveled against the Rotherham council. The council was in blatant denial of the crimes even after a report was published detailing how it let down the victims. The town officials and the council, under the Socialist Labour Party, knew of the abuses for a full 16 years. Four of its members were removed by the party; two were Muslims.

Again, for some reason, the officials preferred being mute spectators to and abetting the gang rapes for the fear of being accused of “racism”. It was never lost upon anyone that the accused were mostly Pakistani Muslims. And it seems that the votes and public image mattered more than the lives of 1,500 girls of Rotherham (perhaps more).

Political aspirations were running so high that, according to this report, in 2012, the same ignorant officials removed foster children from a home in Rotherham because the foster parents belonged to the right-wing UK Independence Party (now Reform UK). This dangerous move put the lives of more children in peril as it came when the grooming gangs were still in their heyday.

The Rotherham council, according to the report, went to “considerable lengths” to cover up information. In 2015, then Communities Secretary Eric Pickles told the House of Commons that “some councilors have not lived up to the high standards expected of those in public life or their positions of responsibility.”

The rise of political opponents was a bigger concern for the local councils as they believed that “by opening up these issues they could be ‘giving oxygen’ to racist perspectives that might, in turn, attract extremist political groups and threaten community cohesion”.

But even the authors of some of the reports that have called out political correctness have at some point in the report based their concerns on their political preferences.

The author of the report exposing Rotherham council, former Victims’ Commissioner Louise Casey, wrote, “By failing to take action against the Pakistani heritage male perpetrators of CSE in the borough, the Council has inadvertently fuelled the far right and allowed racial tensions to grow, it has done a great disservice to the Pakistani heritage community and the good people of Rotherham as a result.”

“This has allowed perpetrators to remain at large, has let victims down, and perversely, has allowed the far right to try and exploit the situation. These may have been unintended consequences but the impact remains the same and reaches into the present day”, the report read.

Far-right activist and former leader of the English Defense League was jailed in 2019 for reportedly violating a reporting ban during a trial in one of the sexual exploitation cases in Old Bailey, the Central Criminal Court in London; a surprisingly prompt action as compared to grooming gangs. Robinson’s own cousin was a victim of the grooming gang.

In one of his Facebook posts, he said, “One of these sick child rapists is on the run in Pakistan because he was given bail! No bail for me though, they took me off the street and put me in prison for five hours but 10 mass child rapists with 15 witness statements of child rape spend a year walking the streets with your children because the establishment thought they posed no risk!’

His Facebook and Instagram account was, unsurprisingly, blocked by Meta. “Tommy Robinson’s Facebook Page has repeatedly broken these standards, posting material that uses dehumanizing language and calls for violence targeted at Muslims”, Facebook said in its statement.

Katie Hopkins, a far-right political commentator from UK known for her no holds barred opinions, wrote in 2017, “I have been criticized widely for discussing the subject on my show. Rounded on by liberals, accused of Islamophobia, of bias.”

Hopkins too, like many others, was reported to the cops by a Labour MP for equating Pakistani men with grooming gangs. She was banned from Twitter permanently for alleged “hate speech” in 2020.

Another feminist activist Julie Bindel said she has long found herself battling the cultural sensitivities of British officialdom. When reporting the story of a 14-year-old girl in Blackpool, Bindel was told by the police that they were “treading carefully” as far as the names of the perpetrators were concerned because they didn’t want to cause a “riot”.

However, even as Bindel’s intentions were no less than to help the victims get justice, her concerns too at one point had a political tone. “I argued, as an antiracist, that it was important that this issue was not pushed under the carpet, because if it were, then the likes of the [far-right] British National Party would colonize the story for its own ends,” she was quoted by the Wall Street Journal.

A former Labour MP for Rotherham, Denis MacShane reportedly said he might not have done enough about child sexual exploitation in his constituency because he was a “Guardian-reading liberal leftie.”

In casually-hurled words, he said he thinks there was a culture of “not wanting to rock the multicultural community boat”.

Another former Labour Party MP for Keighley said she was silenced by some of the members of her own party even as she kept her balance by taking on the far-right in her statement to The Guardian.

Ann Cryer said, “They (the victims) thought these lads were their boyfriends. They thought they were going to get married. But no. Most of these lads were already married to a cousin from Pakistan.”

When Cryer reportedly attempted to get the Pakistani community to condemn the rapes. She asked her Muslim friend to approach the mosque. Her friend said to the imams and elders at the mosque, “Ann Cryer would like you to go around to these families and explain that this behavior is totally un-Islamic.” The response her friend received was, “Go back to Ann Cryer and tell her it has nothing to do with us.”

Political correctness touched new heights till as recently as 2020 when the Home Office published a report whitewashing the role of Pakistani/Muslims in operating grooming gangs. It read, “Research has found that group-based child sexual exploitation offenders are most commonly white.”

Instead of shedding light on why the cases concerning Pakistani/Muslim accused were rubbished even when they were named by the victims in some cases, the report rather focused on suggesting the point not-all-Muslim-men by saying “most commonly white men”. In a way, the UK Home Office report did exactly what the local authorities at Rotherham, Rochdale, Telford, etc did; conceal the ethnic identity of the accused.

So far did the entire system go to silence the victims that their backgrounds and troubled family history were used against them in order to dismiss their charges. Former chair of the Greater Manchester Police Federation, Ian Hanson had also hinted at political pressures that controlled the police in such cases.

The accused knew the West’s weakness & the British authorities played right into it

It must put the entire United Kingdom to shame that the ring leader of the Rochdale grooming gang attempted to play the exact race card in his defense which they tried to keep concealed over the years to prevent labeling, riots, and whatnot.

Shabir Ahmed, during his trial, had used the “racism” card in court saying that there was a conspiracy to scapegoat Muslims. He made the victims call him “Daddy” and reportedly told one victim, “Please don’t cry…I love you”. To top it off, he called the victims “prostitutes running a business empire”. Ahmed was, like most other accused, another British Pakistani.

In 2017, this jailed terrorist stamped on a fellow prisoner’s face in a fit of rage when he heard the latter say that the bombers of the Brussels terror attack should be eradicated. But what blows one’s mind is that just last year, he was made the “equalities representative” at HMP Wakefield, a maximum security prison where he is serving a 22-year jail term, a move reportedly intended to “improve the behavior of the inmates”.

This is the perfect symptom of the disease called “wishful thinking” which is ailing the West at large; a disease that it wants to spread to the Indian soil too through its propagandist media, virtue-signaling left liberals, holier than thou “educational” universities, and hypocrite politicians.

Considering the extent to which the system went in order to cover the ethnicity of the jihadis, it is safe to assume or fear that their very Pakistani descent was the reason for granting the Rotherham accused half a million pounds in legal aid. This whopping amount to the rapists was given from the British taxpayers’ money while the victims remained uncompensated.

Attempts to silence whistleblowers

In 2015, the Greater Manchester police admitted having failed to recognize the scale of the abuse. A former Detective Constable, Margaret Oliver (aka Maggie Oliver) resigned from the Greater Manchester police force in 2013 over the treatment of such crimes. “This is not just a problem with Greater Manchester – it’s a national problem and the powers-that-be are more concerned with protecting their reputations than really getting to grips with it”, she reportedly said.

Oliver was part of Operation Augusta in 2004 which was abandoned despite producing a long list of 200 suspects among whom was a serving police officer. The operation was shut down in 2005. “It was a virtual carbon copy of Rochdale, men of largely Pakistani heritage were abusing vulnerable white girls, in Hulme and around the Curry Mile in Rusholme. I was on that job for a year and a half. It was a huge investigation”, Oliver reportedly said.

In Telford, two whistleblowers who wanted to raise the issue were silenced. Cop Keith Osmund-Smith was suspended for sharing information with the media while sex abuse charity Axis Counselling fired a woman for trying to speak up, fearing funding cuts.

The majority of the charity’s funding comes from West Mercia police and crime commissioner, John Champion who opposed calls from MP Lucy Allan demanding a Rotherham-like inquiry into Telford child sexual abuse cases.

“British Pakistani men ARE raping and exploiting white girls…and it’s time we faced up to it”. This is the truth that whistleblower and then Labour shadows minister Sarah Champion wrote in a 2017-opinion article in The Sun.

And for simply speaking the truth, Champion had to issue an apology and resign. Part of the article read, “For too long we have ignored the race of these abusers and, worse, tried to cover it up. No more. These people are predators and the common denominator is their ethnic heritage.”

“We have to have grown-up conversations, however unpalatable, or in six months’ time we will be having this same scenario all over again.” Alas, she was right, this same scenario was continuing long after Champion’s warnings.

In 2018, the Rotherham council was ordered to apologize to whistleblower Jayne Senior. She had been working with victims for years. Her charity was raided and Senior was investigated for about 20 months since 2017 – years after she exposed the scandal.

The British media’s Muslim/Pakistani to South Asian/Asian spin

When the likes of BBC and Guardian write about India and/or Indians, they are almost always predictable. The challenges that the Indian society faces naturally sell like hotcakes among the British media as soon as they spot an anti-Hindu and pro-Islamist scope to explore for them.

But that their love for the Islamists was unconditional to the extent that they would appropriate the coverage of sexual exploitation of their own children – while also posing to campaign against it – was new information.

A column published in the Guardian claimed that the grooming gang cases were not about race at all but about “the strong preying on the weak”. At one point, the op-ed liberally digresses from the subject to show how Muslim men have undergone racial abuse.

The columnist, Jane Martinson, propagated the point of view of Imkaan, a women’s rights organization in the UK whose founder Marai Larasi says the only focus should be that vulnerable young people are being targeted (and not the victim’s race).

“So rather than being preyed on because they are white,” Martinson writes, “these girls were victims because they were seen as weak and vulnerable – in other words, similar to most victims of predatory sexual violence.”

But hiding behind this blatant whitewashing of identities is an attempt to deviate from the mindset of the perpetrators that deems “kafir” women as “easy meat.” Because when you won’t address the ethnic identities of the perpetrators, and when you won’t acknowledge that the victims were mostly white and non-Muslim girls, and boys, you will not be able to think “Why are Muslim majority gangs raping non-Muslim/white girls?”

Narrating her harrowing ordeal, Dr Elisa Hill, a survivor of the grooming gangs, in an interview informed that Muslims have raped at least 5 lakh Kaffirs in the UK in last 40 years. Dr Hill said, “When I was being beaten, I was called a white slag, white whore, and white cunt (sic).

Dr. Hill pointed out that her white skin was always on the mind of her Muslim perpetrator. She revealed that grooming gangs viewed white girls as ‘easy meat’ because they sing, dance, and drink alcohol – things considered ‘immoral’ and ‘worthy of punishment (rape and beating in this case).’

Anyone who even remotely suggests that the problem is only a criminal one and has nothing to do with religion/race is complicit in spreading lies in such crucially sensitive cases.

Because if the problem was not about race and ethnicity at all, then why would the BBC, Guardian, and the like be sitting on the edge of their seats to write obnoxious editorials cautioning UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for making his intent clear on political correctness.

The magnum opus of an editorial reads, “But by singling out the threat from gangs, as opposed to child sexual abuse in general, and by launching a new taskforce in Leeds – not far from where some notorious gangs operated – the government has committed to inflame the racial sensitivities surrounding this issue“.

And again, if the problem was not about race, why then would such leftist liberal media be seething at the very criticism of political correctness, let alone mentioning the religion, ethnicity, and even names of the predators, so much so that they would rather prefer appropriating the identity of the accused to South Asian/Asian.

In what world and by what royal logic are a bunch of Pakistani-majority rapist gangs South Asian/Asian? How is generalizing an entire continent not racist but identifying serial rapists for who they are, is?

So let us call a spade a spade. The left-liberal media in the UK chose to misrepresent the facts and so did such reports which chose to use the term South Asian/Asian as against the true identity of the rapists.

The UK court rulings brought a slight ray of hope amid such a sorry state of affairs. In one of the trials in the Rochdale grooming case, the judge dared to call out the religious motivations of the accused.

“I believe that one of the factors that led to that was that they were not of your community or religion. Indeed one witness, said in the course of the trial that he did not wish to be seen with young white girls in his community in Oldham”, the judge said.

No candle-light vigil, no street marches, no public outcry

Mind you, this is a country that comes out marching on the streets in all kinds of colors on Pride Month over a new-found identity but fails to find a matchstick to light a candle and defend the dignity of the minor victims of rape and murder for the fear of offending the identity of the accused.

Feminists’ lips are conveniently sealed revealing just how deep the fear of jihadis runs in the British blood or perhaps these are symptoms of the Stockholm syndrome that has held the UK by the collar; then again, the UK in this case is not a victim, but a perpetrator. And not to forget, what have the “Reclaim These Streets” campaigners been doing all this while despite fighting for justice for Sarah Everard?

UK’s Sikh Awareness Society (SAS) did what the imams of Yorkshire refused to do. They stood up for their girls to safeguard them from the horrors of grooming gangs. Bhai Mohan Singh, a senior member of SAS, staged peaceful protests and has been vocal in demanding action against the grooming gangs.

‘London has fallen’

Given the mess that UK has got itself in, one thing is clear, that its selective sympathy is reserved exclusively for Islamists. Ever since the royal highnesses headed back home post-1950s with the spoils of their occupation across the world, they found the time to finally take a peek into their affairs. Suddenly, they were concerned about multiculturalism, diversity, inclusivity and what have you.

Has it been the result of wanting to stay relevant in non-British world order? Or has it just been an overcompensation for the regret they must live with over their exploitation of the colonies? The former is possible with a limited scope but the latter definitely not. Because if there was any regret whatsoever, race would have been a serious concern for the proud high-tea hosts, which it is not.

In 2021, Rashmi Samant was hounded by leftists and anti-Hindu propagandists after becoming the first female Indian president-elect of the Oxford University Student’s Union. She was forced to resign within days after being abused, bullied, and targeted for being a Hindu and over her views against British colonization. This esteemed ecosystem didn’t have the courage to stand up for Rashmi Samant.

In April this year, Karan Kataria, Student Academic Representative, LSE Law School exposed Hinduphobia and anti-India rhetoric on campus. In his statement on social media, Kataria pointed out that he was disqualified from running for the post of General Secretary of the LSE Student Union LSESU after a smear campaign was launched against him to paint him as homophobic, Islamophobic, queerphobic, and Hindu nationalist.

A think tank this year revealed how Hindu students are discriminated against and cited a case where beef was thrown at a student. Henry Jackson Society found that Hindu students in the UK are being subjected to bullying and racial discrimination in classrooms. As per a report, research fellow Charlotte Littlewood noted that Hindu students were being bullied by their Muslim classmates and repeatedly asked to convert to Islam.

But for the socialists, leftists, and woke liberals in the UK, none of these amount to racism…at least not enough to defend the peaceful Indian-origin Hindus who have now taken to Britain’s highest office. Instead, let’s work to not talk about the Pakistani Muslim gangs raping white and non-Muslim Asian girls and in the process let’s throw in some words like South Asians and Asians too!

A quote by the Hindu-hating Winston Churchill goes, “Eventually, the Moslems will become master, because they are warriors, while the Hindus are windbags. Yes, windbags! Oh, of course, when it comes to fine speeches, skilfully balanced resolutions, and legalistic castles in the air, the Hindus are real experts! They’re in their element! When it comes to business, when something must be decided on quickly, implemented, and executed—here the Hindus say “pass”. Here they immediately reveal their internal flabbiness.

Certainly stands true for the British today.

Haryana violence: Hindu father-son duo wear T-shirts with Muslim symbols, police constable puts on Burqa to save their lives from Muslim mob in Nuh

0

Another distressing account about how Hindus had to flee for their life during the recent Nuh violence has come to the fore. A Hindu father and son along with police personnel were being pursued by the Muslim mob as violence broke out in Nuh Chowk on 31 July. According to a report, they had to pretend to be Muslims to save themselves.

The trio had to take refuge at the house of a Muslim family who provided them with food and also kept watch outside the place so that their co-religionists do not attack the former. They handed T-shirts with Muslim symbols to both the men and a burqa to the cop so that all three could get home securely on the evening of 31 December July after the assailants had dispersed and police teams were patrolling the roads.

The residents of Sohna, property dealer Karan Singh, and his younger son Vivek travelled to Pinangwan in Nuh in order to view a parcel of land. The two were in their Fortuner when they made the decision to join the Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra, which was on its way to the Shiv temple in Nalhar. They had only travelled a few kilometres with the procession when the same came under assault by the Islamists.

The pair were pulled off from their vehicle and thrashed with sticks after which the former took off in a desperate attempt to survive. The inhabitants of the dwelling waved to them and assured them that they would be safe inside when they stumbled upon the property while out of breath.

15 members of a Muslim joint family lived there. There were hurried knocks on the door again a little while later. This time, it was a police official who escaped the stone-throwing horde.

The businessman revealed, “When things had settled somewhat, they gave me and my son T-shirts with Muslim symbols. The cop was given a burqa.” Unfortunately, his Fortuner had been torched by the time he returned to the SUV. His phone was also destroyed in the fire, along with all the documents he had placed inside. The father and son were taken by a police unit to their place of residence.

It is pertinent to note that while the Liberals and Islamists are attempting to shield the Muslim mob which unleashed violence against Hindus in Nuh, the plight of Hindus is evident from the fact that these individuals had to wear Tshirts with Muslim symbols and a Burqa to escape the wrath of the Muslim mob. It is also evidence of the fact that the Muslim mob was targeting Hindus specifically based on their religion. It was not mindless violence but a pre-planned attack where Hindus were being identified and targeted while Muslims were not being touched by the mob.

Nuh Violence

Violence broke out in Nuh, a Muslim-dominated area of Haryana famously called mini-Pakistan after vehicles were set on fire and stone-pelted by a large Muslim mob during a Hindu shobha yatra. Following an incident on 31 July in which stones were hurled at the Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Religious Mewat Yatra, tensions exploded in Haryana’s Mewat area.

One of the vehicles in the religious parade was reportedly attacked by Islamists. The police responded by stepping in, dispersing the masses with tear gas shells and asking for reinforcements from nearby regions as both sides started throwing stones at each other. The occurrence induced a state of fear in the neighbourhood, which prompted the restriction of internet services and the implementation of Section 144.

In an organised strike, the crowd shouting “Allahu Akbar” attacked the procession and also left several devotees stranded at various sites such as Nuh shrines, the chowk, and close to the police station. However, every Hindu who ended up trapped in the temple has now been rescued and escorted back to their homes.

A fresh round of rioting broke out in Badshahpur as communal tensions that started in Nuh spread to Gurugram on 1st August. Around 200 men arrived on motorcycles and SUVs, which resulted in the vandalisation of 14 stores in Badshahpur’s main market. They also set seven establishments on fire in Gurugram’s Sector 66 locality.

TheWire, Lallantop and Islamist lies: Was Temple in Nuh not attacked and Hindus not ‘held hostage’? FIR on complaint by Duty Magistrate exposes propaganda

On 31st July, an Islamic mob in Nuh of Mewat, Haryana, attacked thousands of Hindu devotees attending the Jalabhishek Yatra on Shravan Somvar. During the attack, a mob of 800-900 mobsters attacked the devotees in the temple and damaged parts of the temple in the process.

Soon after the reports came out of the attack by the Islamic mob, left-liberals rushed to whitewash the attack. Likes of Alt News’ Mohammed Zubair quoted the temple priest from a 21-second clip of the Lallantop report and tried insinuating that the rioters did not attack the temple. However, one of the FIR registered on the complaint of the Duty Magistrate Mukul Kathuria in the matter tells a different story.

Source: Twitter

FIR mentioned Islamic mob pelted stones and opened fire at devotees in the temple

OpIndia accessed several FIRs registered in the Nuh violence. One of the FIRs that was registered based on the complaint of Executive Engineer (XEN) Mukul Kathuria of Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Haryana (IWRD) posted as Duty Magistrate (DM) mentioned that the Islamist mob of 800-900 pelted stones and opened fire at the devotees in the temple. During the attack, the temple was damaged. DM, his driver Khursheed, Inspector Rajbala and other officials stationed at the temple, along with devotees, were attacked by the Islamist mob with batons, guns and stones.

The FIR was registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 332, 353, 186, 188, 295A, 153A, 452, 427, 307 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 25 of the Arms Act. Several rioters were named in the FIR, including Adil, Taamil, Arsad, Azharuddin, Kasir, Sakeel, Junaid, Salamuddin, Ikbal, Azad, Iliyas, Akbar, Rahul s/o Juna, Saleem, Ikka alias Kala, Tauhid, Yahay, Javed, Handle, Shahrukh, Harish s/o Yusuf, Ahmed, Asif, Shoaib, Langda, and others.

As per the complaint, Kathuria, his driver Khursheed, Inspector Rajbala and others were stationed at Nalhad Temple for duty during Jalabhishek Yatra. While devotees were offering prayers to Lord Shiva, a mob of 800-900 Islamists who were speaking local Mewati and Rajasthani languages charged towards the temple from the fields and mountains nearby in a pre-planned manner.

Kathuria said the rioters had batons, stones and illegal weapons in their hands. They were raising slogans of Allah-Hu-Akbar. As they reached the temple, the mob started pelting stones and opened fire to disturb Puja at the temple. Kathuria tried to alleviate the situation and requested them to back off loudly, but the rioters did not listen to him. They started getting close to the temple while raising the slogans of Allah-Hu-Akbar.

As soon as they reached the temple while screaming Islamic slogans, they again pelted stones and opened fire at the devotees and the officers stationed at the temple. During the attack, the temple premises got damaged.

Left-liberals claim the temple was not attacked

Soon after the reports of the attack, several left-liberals rushed to whitewash the anti-Hindu violence in Nuh. They claimed the temple was not attacked. Alt News’ co-founder Mohammed Zubair retweeted a 21-second clip from a Lallantop report where temple priest Deepak Sharma said the attack did not happen close to the temple.

Interestingly, when OpIndia checked the full 4-minutes+ video, the priest categorically said he did not come out during the attack as the administration asked them not to. He added to have listened to loud noises from inside. While he claimed the attack happened 1-1.5 KM away from the temple, the facts do not match up.

The priest they quoted was asked about the situation outside. He categorically said, “I don’t know much about it as we were asked to remain inside [by the security forces]. Devotees were coming and going. I did not go outside.” When asked about stone pelting from the mountains, he again said, “I want to say again I did not come outside. I am a priest. We remain inside.” When asked why they were asked to remain inside, he said, “There were around 4,000 people stuck inside, including women and girls. It was better to stay inside.”

He added, “Nothing like this [stone pelting] happened inside the temple. Whatever happened outside the premises towards 1-1.5 KM away from the temple.”

In another video by Lallantop, the reporter showed the extent of rioting close to the temple. As he travelled on the road showing signs of burnt vehicles, stone pelting and broken glass bottles, it was evident the location of the riots was not 1-1.5 KM away from the temple as the priest suggested. The left-liberal media quoted someone who did not come outside at all to propagate their narrative.

In the same video, a group of cooks was interviewed by Lallantop. One of the cooks said they reached the temple to cook bhandara and Prasad a day before the Shobha Yatra. He mentioned that they were stuck inside the temple for hours and could go outside only after forces came to rescue them. Dubious journalist Arfa Khanum Sherwani of The Wire claimed that though State Home Minister said the devotees were held hostage, the priest denied the claims.

Source: Twitter

The Wire quoted the priest saying, “Logon ko bandhak kya banayenge, parmaatma ki sharan mein the. Achanak pata chala ki mahaul kharaab hai. Stithi Kharab hone ki wajah se andar fans gaye (How can these people be kept hostage? They were in the shelter of the Almighty. But they suddenly learned that the situation outside was not good. Since the situation outside became bad, people got trapped inside (the temple).”

If we read it again, the priest said people were trapped inside as the situation outside was bad. Imagine the left-liberals claiming people in a bank attacked by robbers were not “held hostage” but just “stuck inside”. The priest said they were in the shelter of the almighty, which is more of a rhetorical answer.

A 21-second video cannot show the extent of the anti-Hindu riots covered by Lallantop. Notably, in the video where its reporter shared the extent of the damage, he categorically said the attack appeared pre-planned. The likes of Zubair appeared to have missed the point completely in a hurry to save the Islamic mob that pelted stones and fired on Hindu devotees.

Ashoka University distances itself from professor’s paper that peddles wild ‘election manipulation’ theories against BJP, Shashi Tharoor had amplified it

Ashoka University on 1st August 2023, posted a tweet clarifying their stand on a recent controversy over a ‘research paper’ by one of their professors, Sabyasachi Das. In the tweet, the University clarified that while they do encourage research, they do not control the choice of specific research projects carried out by their faculty members.

Without taking Sabyasachi Das’ name, the University asserted that they only value research papers that are published in reputed journals after being critically peer-reviewed.

“To the best of our knowledge, the paper in question has not yet completed a critical review process and has not been published in an academic journal”, the University said.

Additionally, the University said, “Social media activity or public activism by Ashoka faculty, students or staff in their individual capacity does not reflect the stand of the University.”

Basically, the University distanced itself from the particular ‘research paper’ by their faculty member, clarifying that social media activity of publicity stunts by that person are in no way linked to the University.

What is the ‘research paper’ by Sabyasachi Das

An alleged ‘research paper’, unpublished so far in any academic journal and yet to be peer-reviewed, as clarified by Ashoka University, gained attention on social media recently after a Twitter user shared a long thread on it, describing how the so-called ‘research’ shows that BJP has been manipulating elections in India.

By claiming they have ‘scientific evidence’, the paper boasts that they have cracked how the BJP wins elections in India. It claimed that ‘manipulation’ is achieved by targeted discrimination against India’s largest minority group, Muslims.

One MR Sharan, shared the said paper, noting how the said research compiled data. “Election results from 1977-2019, EVM turnout data for 2019, Voter rolls (including name classifiers), National election surveys, data on counting observers”, he shared.

The paper makes some wild claims, like “BJP wins most of the close contest elections”. Sharan shared, “Somehow, BJP wins more close-contest elections, but Congress doesn’t. He claims that close-contest elections can go either way, and there is no reason that BJP should win more, given they (allegedly) didn’t put more effort.

It is not understood how he concluded that the BJP doesn’t put more effort into the campaign than the Congress.

The paper suggests that the BJP wins more owing to ‘electoral manipulation’, that is, somehow deleting the names of voters from lists. That too, deleting the names of Muslim voters.

The paper further suggests that not just the deletion of Muslim names from the voter list, the BJP even manipulates voter turnouts somehow. Not stopping at that, the paper appears to be crunching some data and somehow arriving at a conclusion that the BJP wins more when the election observers are from state civil services, as opposed to IAS.

Doing some wild math, Das claims in the paper that the BJP has won at least 11 seats in the 2019 elections by doing “voter manipulation”.

Shashi Tharoor jumps up to hail the paper, as expected from Congress

Sharan’s tweet was soon picked up by Shashi Tharoor who went on to claim grave dangers looming over India’s democracy, as always.

“This thread offers a hugely troubling analysis for all lovers of Indian democracy. If the Election Commission and/or the Government of India have answers available to refute these arguments, they should provide them in detail”, Tharoor tweeted.

The Congress has been crying ‘EVM manipulation’ for years and years, and has yet to produce a shred of evidence, despite the Election Commission of India openly calling them to come forward and prove it. Apart from that, even a layman in India can explain why Congress losses elections. Tharoor himself has been trying to point out the weaknesses in his own party, only to be ignored by the leadership.

‘Research paper’ gets slammed for wild data juggling, wrong details, and more

In the meanwhile, many social media users have come forward to point out basic flaws in the so-called ‘research paper’.

The claims made in the paper were ‘critically reviewed’ by another Twitter user @Saiarav. The handle examined the claims of BJP winning ‘close contest’ elections by voter manipulation.

Taking the claim that the BJP won 11-12 seats more than what would have been the ‘ideal scenario’ of winning 50% of the ‘close contest’ seats, @Sairav pointed out that the alleged ‘voter manipulation’ even if possible, can only be possible only in non-NDA ruled states, as the paper itself claims.

“However, for the complicated statistical jugglery exhibited throughout the paper, it gets this basic fact wrong. This pattern of outperformance is not limited to NDA ruled states. Out of the 41 seats it won, nearly half are from non-NDA states”, he added.

19 of the 41 seats won by BJP in close-contest, or a 0-5% gap were in non-NDA ruled states, completely in contradiction to what the paper claims in the text.

Additionally, the strike rate of winning those seats in non-NDA states for BJP has been 66%, he pointed out.

Additionally, @Sairav also pointed out that the growth rate of the electorate in BJP-won seats was at par with the national average of the growth rate of the electorate, so the claims of ‘manipulation’ do not hold up. Also, the 4 seats that the BJP lost in Bengal by a close margin of 5% or less, had an electorate growth rate of approximately 11.6%, above the national average.

He also pointed out other factual errors and mistakes made in the paper, like citing Nabrangpur, Odisha as a ‘close contest’ for BJP when the party was a distant third, behind Congress, and citing 2 union territories of Andaman & Nicobar and Dadra and Nagar Haveli as non-BJP ruled areas.

Ashoka University has already distanced itself from Sabyasachi Das’ so-called research paper and has basically termed it as ‘social media activism’. However, when it comes to the Opposition parties in India, the factual accuracy of their claims never held much importance anyway. So it cannot be entirely impossible that they hold this dubious ‘research’ as some world-class scientific evidence to justify their election losses, in the past and in the future.

‘Journalist’ Puneet Kumar Singh claims a Hindu man’s shop was vandalised by ‘Bhagwa goons’ in Nuh assuming that the shop was owned by a Muslim: Here is the truth

Several videos and “claims” associated with them are making their way online from the violence-hit Nuh region of Haryana. The usual suspects notorious for shielding Islamists and downplaying the mayhem they cause during communal riots are active ever since violence erupted in Haryana when stones were pelted at the Jalabhishek Yatraat Hindus in the Muslim-majority Nuh area, famously called ‘mini-Pakistan’.

In accordance with the ideological imperative of Islamist appeasers who portray Hindus as oppressors and Muslims as oppressed people, “journalist” Puneet Kumar Singh, who runs the propaganda portal “Bolta Hindustan,” posted a tweet on Tuesday, 1st August, in which he shared a BBC ground report video and claimed that a Hindu man’s shop was vandalised by ‘Bhagwa Goons’ who mistook Vikas Garg’s shop as that of a Muslim.

“Mistaking it for a Muslim-owned shop, Hindu ‘Vikas Garg’ shop in Nuh was vandalised by saffron goons,” Puneet Kumar Singh tweeted adding lines from late poet Rahat Indori’s ‘sher’ insinuating that the riots were caused by Hindus who are now bearing the brunt of their own actions.

“Lagegi aag toh aayenge ghar kai zad mein, yahan pe sirf hamara makaan thodi hai,” Singh added.

In his now’-deleted tweet, ‘journalist’ Puneet Singh attached a BBC video report from Nuh wherein the said shop-owner Vikas Garg told BBC correspondent that his shop/ restaurant named ’24×7 Bakery & Cafe’ was vandalised on Monday (July 31st) after the riots erupted as the Yatra procession was passing.

As seen in the full video posted (archive) by the BBC, a visibly disheartened Vikas Garg narrated the sequence of events. “A riot erupted here yesterday when the Yatra was passing. After the riots subsided for some time, my shop was looted. I had locked my shop and left. My shop’s counter, glasses, LEDs, and seven fridges were damaged and there was around Rs 7.5 lakh cash kept inside the shop. As soon as I reached my home, some people destroyed the shop and stole the items. It all happened around 3:30 pm to 3:45 pm on Monday,” Vikas Garg said.

He further lamented over working hard for years to build his restaurant which has now been destroyed and asked if anyone can compensate the losses he endured.

Contrary to the claims by ‘journalist’ Puneet Kumar Singh, the “Hindu” shop owner did not accuse any ‘saffron goons’ of vandalising and plundering his shop. In fact, his claim that the ‘Bhagwa goons’ mistook Vikas Garg’s shop as that of a Muslim is also fake as the board placed outside the shop clearly mentions the name of the shop owners as Vikas Garg and Sachin Garg. However, Puneet Kumar Singh found an opportunity to exploit a Hindu man’s plight to further his propaganda even at the expense of inciting violence.

The fake news peddler deleted his tweet after being called out by several Twitter users.

Journalist Aditya Raj Kaul urged people in Gurugram not to pay heed to any fake news as shared the screenshot of Puneet Kumar Singh’s now-deleted tweet spreading lies against Hindus.

“People in #Gurugram shouldn’t believe fake news. Some tweets based on fake information are spreading panic in Haryana. Tweets have been deleted yet are being forwarded. Hope cops investigate the conspiracy to spread Mewat violence to Gurugram. Stay alert! Don’t panic!” Kaul tweeted.

After being called out by the people, Singh tweeted a ‘clarification’ at midnight wherein he claimed that he deleted the said tweet after ‘knowing’ about it. He further claimed that the video in question was sent to him by a ‘reliable journalistic source’, however, after learning the ‘truth’ he deleted the tweet spreading fake news.

“Clarification: Today I posted a tweet about Nuh, which was immediately deleted after I came to know about it. It was sent to me by a reliable journalistic source so I tweeted it but as a responsible citizen, I deleted it as soon as I came to know the truth,” Puneet Kumar Singh tweeted.

Instead of apologising for spreading fake news and inciting hatred against the Hindus especially those residing in the violence-torn Nuh region, Puneet Kumar Singh persisted in his shamelessness as evident in his other tweet where he claimed that journalists running fake news factories and extorting money are blaming him for the violence even when the ‘misinformed’ tweet was deleted. He went on to claim that lines taken from Rahat Indori’s quote he wrote in the contentious tweet did not incite violence rather people who see violence in it are the ones instigating violence.

Even as ‘journalist’ Puneet Kumar Singh brazens it out, many people are demanding his arrest.
