‘Bheek Maango Andolan’: Nashik man starts a campaign to send money to Ajay Devgn urging him to stop promoting online casino games

Bollywood celebrities endorsing products such as tobacco, cigarettes, pan masala, or appearing in surrogate advertisements have constantly found themselves amidst controversy. However, in a bizarre turn of events, an upset Nashik man has launched a unique initiative targeting Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn for promoting online casino games.

A video has recently gone viral on the internet, showing an unidentified man parking his scooter in the middle of a busy street in Nashik. In the viral video, it can be seen that he has installed a placard on his two-wheeler with Hindi text saying, “Bheek Maango Andolan for Ajay Devgn”.

Announcing from a loudspeaker, the man can be heard saying that he is collecting alms which he will send to the Bollywood actor and he will urge him not to promote online casino games.

For those unversed, in March 2023, Junglee Rummy signed Ajay Devgn as their Newest Brand Ambassador.

The viral video of Nashik man begging money for Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn.

Further, in the video, the unidentified man asserts that he is opposed to online gaming and its advertisements. He adds that despite the fact that these sportspersons and Bollywood celebrities have so much by the grace of God, yet, they choose to promote online gaming which has a bad influence on the youth.

The man asks why Ajay Devgn need to play and promote online games when he is already so rich. The man adds then why is he brainwashing the youth. “This is wrong, that is why I am doing this movement. All you need to do is click a photograph and video of this and send it to others. Let it reach the actor and let him see this,” he said.

The man categorically states that online games in which youth loses money should be banned.

Afterwards, he announces that he will run a “Bheek Maango Andolan” (movement to collect alms) and will beg on the streets to collect money. According to him, he will then send the alms to Ajay Devgn and request him not to be a part of such advertisements.

The man said, “I have decided that I will run this ‘Bheek Maango Andolan’, and beg on the streets to collect money, which I will then send to Ajay Devgn with the request to stop being part of such ads.”

He also states that he will be ready to beg again if the actor requires more money. However, he requested the actor to not do any such advertisement for the sake of money. He added, “If you need more money, I will again beg and send you money, but you are requested not to be a part of such advertisements. I am making this request in Gandhigiri style.”

Junglee Rummy has released several advertisements featuring Ajay Devgn, where he is heard saying that it is the most perfect platform for online Rummy, and urges people to download the app. At the end of the ads, there is a standard disclaimer saying that there is a risk of getting addicted or facing financials problems with the game.

This viral video came at a time when a person in Maharashtra lost around 58 crores in an online game. There are many more cases where individuals have lost their hard-earned life deposits in these online games, many of whom, unfortunately, ended their life as a result of it. While many others have ended up being caught in a debt trap.

Earlier, in June, this year, a man named Vilas Prataprao Shinde from Nanded City in Maharashtra wrote a letter to Ajay Devgn asking him how much money he has won playing online on Junglee Rummy. He claimed that he is not sure whether the Singham star plays the game, however, he influences young minds to play this addictive and destructive game.

Poster War: BJP portrays West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee as ‘Didi Amin’ after TMC mocked PM Modi as ‘Modenheimer’

Political parties have now begun to engage in both online and offline confrontations through multiple means. In the latest incident, West Bengal’s ruling party, the Trinamool Congress, released a poster from its official handle and dragged Prime Minister Narendra Modi into the ongoing ethnic conflict in Manipur. The poster was of Christopher Nolan’s latest release, Oppenheimer. Robert J. Oppenheimer, popularly known as the inventor of the atomic bomb, is the subject of the movie.

A photograph of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was meticulously edited to match that of the film’s lead, Cillian Murphy. In addition, the names of Union Minority Affairs and Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh and National Commission for Women (NCW) Chairperson Rekha Sharma were added to it.

It further featured bombs exploding in the backdrop with the name ‘Modenheimer’ in the front. “A film by the National Democratic Alliance” is also written on the poster. The post created by TMC referred to the prime minister as “death, the destroyer of worlds” and held him responsible for the violence in the northeastern state.

The Bharatiya Janata Party, however, wasted no time in taking offence to this and retaliated with another poster which illustrated TMC supremo and the chief minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee as the cruel Ugandan dictator Idi Amin. It was tweeted by party leader and chairman and trustee of the Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation, Anirban Ganguly.

It listed the nephew of Mamata Banerjee and Lok Sabha MP from Diamond Harbour, Abhishek Banerjee, senior party leader Kunal Ghosh and the convicted members of the party former minister Partha Chatterjee, MLA Soaqat Mollah, and ex-lawmaker Arabul Islam who are behind bars in various cases including corruption and murder.

The TMC founder is shown sporting the same military uniform that Idi Amin formerly donned. “A film by I.N.D.I.A., in collaboration with TMC,” is written on it. She is labelled as the person responsible for the fall of the state in the poster which is titled ‘Didi Amin.’

Notably, it is estimated that around 3 lakh people were killed under the presidency of Idi Amin which lasted from 1971 to 1979. The names of Sujay Bhadra, Anubrata Mondol and Arpita Mukherjee are also added to it.

Uttar Pradesh: Hindu widow taken to Rishikesh, explicit video recorded, 15 lakh extorted; case filed against Haroon, Aliyar Khan, Raju Khan and others

The police are on high alert after a startling instance of love jihad surfaced in Greater Noida West of Uttar Pradesh. Five individuals have been charged in this unnerving case, however, they have all managed to elude the law. The occurrence took place in the Shahberi neighbourhood, which is the Bisrakh Kotwali police station’s purview. The victim accused that one of the accused also forced her to pay 15 lakh rupees by recording an obscene video.

The complaint was submitted against Haroon, Monu Khan, Sonu, Aliyar Khan, and Raju Khan. She stated that her spouse died in 2016 and met Haroon at a gym, five years later in 2021. He introduced himself as Monu alias Nonu. He used a fictitious Aadhar card and befriended her.

The disturbing episode happened on 29 December 2022, when she was brought to a flat in Greater Noida West and coerced into a physical relationship by the perpetrator. She was then kidnapped and transported to Rishikesh by him. He didn’t even spare her daughter. The latter was subjected to immense pressure to develop a relationship with him as well.

She received several messages and persistent advances, which caused great distress to her. Afterwards, the woman decisively made up her mind to report the harassment and lodged a complaint at the Bisrakh Kotwali police station.

The authorities took the situation seriously and immediately filed a report based on her statement. A dedicated squad was assembled to locate the offenders, bring them to justice and learn about every aspect of the gut-wrenching occurrence. The same was also confirmed by a police official.

Bihar: Two Chinese nationals held for trying to enter India illegally, immigration officials suspect angle of espionage

On Saturday (22 July), the Security personnel in Bihar arrested two Chinese nationals who tried to enter India illegally through the Indo-Nepal border from Raxaul in Bihar’s East Champaran district, the officials said on Sunday, 23 July. The arrested Chinese nationals have been identified as Zhao Jing (39 years old) and FU Cong (28 years). Both of them are said to be residents of Jiangxi, a province in the Eastern part of China.

East Champaran Superintendent of Police (SP) Kantesh Kumar Mishra informed that both Chinese nationals were arrested near the Indian customs office at Raxaul town at 8.45 pm on Saturday. They were trying to cross the border without any valid documents.

The police are interrogating them to understand their motive, however, officials are suspecting that espionage may be a possible reason for their misadventure. The SP said, “Motive behind their move could not be established. Interrogation is being done.”

Motihari SP Kantesh Kumar Mishra said that a case against the duo has been registered at Haria police station and are being sent to jail. Police will interrogate them further after taking them on remand, he added.

The immigration officials stationed at the border did not dismiss the possibility of ‘espionage’ as the motive behind their illegal entry into Indian territory from across the border. “In the course of the interrogation, they demonstrated strange behaviour. While one of them is fluent in English, the statement given by them are inconsistent and self-contradictory”, an immigration official said as reported by the Hindustan Times.

The officials stated that the duo made a failed attempt to cross the border in the past as well. Apparently, they were caught by the Raxaul Immigration Department on the 2nd of July, this year, while they were attempting to enter India from the Nepal border without an Indian visa. Back then, they were sent back to Nepal with their passports stamped with a warning indicating entry refusal. They were advised to secure an Indian visa before making any further attempts to enter India.

The immigration official said, “They were previously apprehended on July 2 this year. At that time, they were let off with a warning and were advised to enter into the Indian territory with visas.”

Earlier, on Wednesday, 19 July, another Chinese national was arrested by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel while he was trying to sneak into India through the Indo-Nepal border in the Kharibari area of Siliguri in West Bengal.

The accused was identified as Yongxin Peng (39 years old). A Police officer stated that during interrogation, they recovered a Chinese passport and several other documents from him. The officer added that this sparked a possibility that he was involved in espionage. He was reportedly unable to speak English.

Earlier, in February, the SSB arrested one more Chinese national who was attempting to cross India from Nepal without valid documents. This arrest occurred in Lakhimpur district, Uttar Pradesh. Following these arrests, the security forces have intensified their surveillance and increased patrolling in the surrounding areas.

Gujarat: Torrential rains trigger severe floods in Junagadh, state government and local authorities carry out massive rescue and relief operations

On Saturday 22nd July 2023, heavy rains on the Girnar Mountain in Junagadh resulted in water seeping into the city and inundating several areas of the city. Ever since the waterlogging started, officials of the administration, especially the Junagadh police, were on the job and started the work of rescuing the trapped people.

In Junagadh, excessive rainfall disrupted normal life, causing severe hardships for citizens due to waterlogging. The heavy rains lashed the Girnar hills, bringing water into the city and flooding most areas within hours of starting. Videos of the situation went viral on social media, showing water filling the society and vehicles and animals floating in the rushing streams.

In response to this situation, efforts were made to normalize public life. Rescue teams were kept on standby to provide assistance, and social organisations also extended their help.

The Junagadh Floods

There was heavy rainfall in Saurashtra and south Gujarat since the morning of 22nd July 2023. The worst affected were Navsari and Junagadh. In Navsari, many places were flooded and many roads in Junagadh have also been closed. On Saturday, Navsari recorded the highest rainfall in the entire state. By 4.30 pm, Navsari district had recorded 11.9 inches of rain. 5.2 inches of rainfall was recorded in Junagadh in just 2 hours (2 pm to 4 pm). Total rainfall in Junagadh on Saturday was recorded to be 8.6 inches. Karjan in Vadodara recorded 2.8 inches of rain, while Bhavnagar and Surat also recorded 2 inches of rain in two hours.

Several low-lying areas were flooded due to heavy rains in Navsari. On the other hand, there was a traffic jam on the National Highway passing through the city. Some videos from Navsari have been doing the rounds on social media in which gas cylinders can be seen floating in the rainwater. In one of the videos, it can be seen that a car parked next to it was crushed when a wall collapsed.

Some videos from Junagadh are also doing the rounds on social media and media, in which vehicles and cattle are seen getting washed away in the flowing water. In the video, there are scenes of the river flowing from the road. It is said that due to heavy rains on Girnar mountain, water entered the city and resurfaced in many areas.

In another video, it was seen that the water has reached the houses of the people in the society, during which vehicles were seen floating in the water.

Due to heavy rains, Junagadh municipal officials as well as the police force also descended on ground zero. Junagadh police chief Ravi Teja Vasam Shetty appealed to the people to stay at home and not venture out.

The Rescue Operations by the Local Police

A video from Junagadh went viral in which a car was seen flowing in the water flowing with full force and a person was also entangled with it. He was unable to gain control as the water flow was extremely forceful. However, he was later rescued by the Junagadh police. The police personnel also went into the running water and rescued the 50-year-old man and brought him back. Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi lauded the performance of Junagadh Police and congratulated the police in a tweet.

In another case, the area near Wadala Phatak in the Vanthali police station area of Junagadh was flooded due to which the police personnel reached there and started the work of shifting the locals elsewhere. But during this time, people were not ready to come leaving the idol of the Goddess. Then the police rescued everyone along with the idol. In this way, the idol of the Goddess was also safely shifted to another place with these people.

In another video, Junagadh police personnel are seen carrying some children on their shoulders. The children were trapped in the flood water. They were rushed to a safer place by officials of the C division police station. A child and a pregnant woman were rescued safely by police personnel in the Ganeshnagar area of the city.

According to information given by the Junagadh collector, more than 10 inches of rain fell in the city due to which water was flooded. During this time, a total of 200 trapped people were rescued immediately, while about 750 people were shifted to safer places. As many as 20,000 food packets were prepared for distribution in waterlogged areas and the distribution of these packets started on 22nd July 2023 at night. He said that the situation is currently under control and the water is receding but the district administration is ready to deal with it even if there is more rain.

The Rescue Operations by the State Government

The State Agriculture Minister and Rajkot District In-charge Minister, Raghavji Patel, addressed the media regarding the situation of excessive rainfall in Junagadh. He mentioned that Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was in Rajkot on July 22, 2023, for various programs. However, upon learning about the heavy rains in Junagadh, the Chief Minister immediately cut short all his engagements and rushed to the district collector’s office in Rajkot.

From there, Chief Minister Patel contacted the Junagadh Collector through the control room to assess the situation and instructed immediate relief and rescue operations for the affected people, ensuring their safe relocation. He also held discussions with the chief secretary regarding the matter. Despite his attempts to reach Junagadh directly from Rajkot, the road closures and low visibility prevented him from doing so. Consequently, he had to cancel all his programs and return to Gandhinagar.

According to reports, on July 22, 2023, Junagadh experienced approximately 9.5 inches of rainfall from 1 pm until evening, with Girnar receiving even more. Additionally, six talukas in Junagadh witnessed rainfall exceeding 5 inches, leading to waterlogging in low-lying areas. In response, the administration promptly began efforts to relocate people to safer areas. By the evening of 22nd July, around 250 people had already been evacuated, and the authorities had initiated arrangements for their accommodation and food.

In Junagadh, normal life was disrupted due to excessive rainfall. However, in response to the emergency situation, two companies of NDRF were dispatched immediately, and a third company was put on standby. Additionally, two teams of SDRF were also allocated to assist with the situation. The state government and district administration took all necessary steps to address the impact of the heavy rainfall in Junagadh, and they worked on a war footing to manage the situation. As part of the relief efforts, food packets were prepared for the affected people.

District Collector Prabhav Joshi reported that over 25,000 food packets were being prepared in collaboration with various social organisations to provide sustenance to those affected by the heavy rains in Junagadh. Special arrangements were made to ensure these food packets reached those in need. Additionally, Junagadh received assistance from five fire teams belonging to Rajkot Municipal Corporation and Gondal Municipality.

Maharashtra ATS takes over probe on Al Sufa terror plot after the arrest of two suspected terrorists in Pune

Days after Pune police arrested two suspected terrorists Mohammad Imran Mohammad Yusuf Khan and Mohammad Yunus Mohammad Yakub Saki for their alleged involvement in a terror case in Rajasthan, the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has taken over the probe. The suspected terrorists were on the “most wanted” list of the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Pune commissioner Retesh Kumarr said, “We have transferred the investigations to the ATS as per protocol. The NIA has booked the two men under the UAPA and such crimes with wider magnitude are required to be investigated by the ATS.”

In the early hours of July 18, the Pune city police arrested Mohammed Imran Mohammed Yusuf Khan, 23, and Mohammed Yunus Mohammed Yakub Saki, 24, both residents of Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh. The police are looking for their accomplice, Mohammed Shahnawaz Shafiurrehman Alam, 31, who managed to flee while being taken for a house search.

They were arrested for attempting to steal a motorcycle, but later during the probe, it was found that they were involved in the terror group Al-Sufa. It was also found that NIA has announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh on their capture.

Around 2.45 a.m., a patrolling squad from the Kothrud police station, consisting of constables Pradeep Chavan and Amol Nazan, noticed the three men stealing a two-wheeler. After a chase, the cops nabbed them.

At the Kothrud police station, an FIR was filed against them under relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code, the Indian Arms Act, and the Maharashtra Police Act. According to the police, the accused stayed in an apartment in Chetna Garden, Mitha Nagar, Kondhwa. Both Khan and Saki are graphic artists from Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, and Alam is from Hazaribagh, Jharkhand.

Police teams searched their Pune residence and found a number of suspicious items, including a box containing “drone material,” a pistol pouch, a live cartridge, some “white coloured pills,” fake Aadhaar cards, and various other documents. A Pune court remanded the two suspected terrorists to the custody of Pune city police till July 25 for further investigation.

The two fled Ratlam after learning that their names had surfaced in the investigation into the terror case in which some suspected Al-Sufa members had been arrested by Rajasthan police in Ratlam. It is worth recalling that in March this year, Rajasthan police’s ATS and Special Operation Group (SOG) recovered 12 kg of explosives and material used in assembling explosive devices from the Chittorgarh district. Three suspected terrorists—Zubair, Altamas, and Saifullah belonging to the Al-Sufa terrorist group was arrested.

NIA had filed a Chargesheet against Imran Khan and 10 other accused persons on 22nd September 2022 after exposing the terror plot. NIA has said that ‘Sufa’ is deeply inspired by the activities of ISIS and is inclined toward the Jihadi ideology. Members of ‘Sufa’ had motivated other youths also to join this group for carrying out terror acts.

Uttar Pradesh: Dalit man Ram Akbal brutally murdered by Paru, Mehendi and Iqbal in Sitapur, body doused in acid and dumped into a canal

In an alarming incident, a Dalit man named Ram Akbal was killed in the Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh on 19 July. The charge of the crime has been levelled against three men named Paru, Mehendi and Iqbal, all sons of Asgar. The three reportedly stabbed the victim to death with knives and then threw acid on the dead body before tossing him into a canal.

The police have taken all the accused into custody. On the other hand, a group of women attacked and ransacked the residence of the accused in response to the gruesome murder. The police have also registered a First Information Report against them.

The case pertained to area 20 of the Sitapur police station, where an individual by the name of Khushiram from the hamlet of Jagannathpur complained to the authorities on 19 July that Ram Akbal had left his house at 2:00 p.m. to purchase medicines.

Meanwhile, the perpetrators approached the latter on his way and killed him with knives. The deceased was then saturated in acid and dumped into a canal. A copy of the FIR is available with OpIndia.

The dead body was recovered in a canal close to Noorpur and transported for postmortem. Police registered a case against the offenders under sections 302, 201 of the Indian Penal Code as well as the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) also known as SC/ST Act. All of them were arrested and interrogated.

When the news of the horrifying instance became public, a bunch of females arrived at the home of the culprits and proceeded to damage and vandalise the property. A case was also lodged against them and the matter is being investigated. More importantly, acid bottles and firearms were discovered there during the assault.

The demolished houses are visible in the video sent by a local journalist from Sitapur, Abhimanyu Kumar. Something that resembles liquid is visible in the bottles along with pistols can be spotted there. According to him, the cops are constantly patrolling the area.

Mahant Bajrang Muni of the neighbourhood informed OpIndia that the pistol and acid retrieved are indicative of their connections to outside terrorist elements. Furthermore, he pressed the administration to disclose the future conspiracy of the murderers.

He warned that a mass movement will arise if there is any legal action against the women who wrecked the latter’s place of residence. He asserted that all three of them had a criminal mindset and were harassing the Hindus dwelling in the area. The lack of response from organisations like the Bhim Army in this tragic occurrence, according to Bajrang Muni, is unfortunate.

Bhim Army is a self-styled and self-proclaimed Ambedkarite outfit that alleges to fight for the lives and rights of the Dalit populace in the country. It is named after Dr B. R. Ambedkar.

‘RDX-laden tanker with 2 Pakistanis reaching Goa’, Mumbai Police receive threat call days after a caller threatened to “destroy India” if Seema Haider doesn’t return

On the 23rd of July, the Mumbai Police control room received a threatening call in which the caller said that a tanker filled with RDX and two Pakistani nationals onboard was going from Mumbai to Goa. The caller identified himself as ‘Pandey’ and an investigation is underway, the Police said.

This was the second threat call received by the Mumbai Police within a span of one week. The officials reported that the threatening phone call came nearly a week after another threat, the second in two days, was received by the Mumbai police about a bomb planted in the city.

Earlier, on 18 July, the Mumbai Police’s traffic control room received another threatening call, in which the caller claimed of carrying out another 26/11-style of attack in Mumbai. The unknown caller threatened that the governments of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and PM Modi are on target. Reportedly, the caller mentioned that cartridges and AK-47s are present at specific locations and warned of a potential 26/11-style attack in Mumbai.

The officials have stated that the Mumbai Police is actively searching for the person responsible for the call. Additionally, they have registered a case against the unknown individual under section 509 (2) of the IPC at Worli Police Station.

Meanwhile, a similar call which was received on the 12th of July was found to be a hoax.

Back then, a First Information Report (FIR) was filed against unknown individuals in connection to a threatening message, which issued a warning of a potential terror attack in the city if Pakistani woman Seema Haider was not sent back to her country.

Speaking in Urdu, the unknown caller said, “If Seema Haider does not come back then India will be destroyed.”

The caller warned that if the attack takes place, the Uttar Pradesh government would be responsible for it.

Earlier this month, a Pakistan national named Seema Haider was arrested in Greater Noida. She was arrested for illegally entering India and staying in the country without valid documents. According to her claim, she entered India with her four children to be with her lover, Sachin Meena, who she had met on the gaming app PUBG. However, she has been under the scanner of security agencies ever since she made illegal entry into India.

Pakistan: Punjab province halts screening of ‘Barbie’ movie over LGBTQ content, later releases after cuts

On Friday (21st July), the Punjab province of Pakistan halted the screening of the Hollywood film Barbie over LGBTQ content. The temporary ‘ban’ on the film was lifted after some dialogues were censored from the film.

Barbie was released in theatres worldwide on the 21st of July this year. As per reports, ongoing screening of the film was halted midway as the Punjab Film Censor Board did not issue a no-objection certificate for the film.

Some Twitter users pointed out that while they were watching the film, the lights were turned on, and they were asked to get a refund.

While ridiculing the censorship, Twitter user Zuniara Akbar said, “Is Punjab more prone to getting influenced by LGBTQ content? Why would you ban Barbie? People want to watch it. They have core memories associated with the movie. Let them breathe at least somewhere. Strange madness.”

Twitter user Ehtesham Hassan wrote, “Barbie has been banned in Punjab, Pakistan. Zindagi Tamasha and Joyland were already banned. Any movie that has the potential to question everything around us is banned because we need a homogeneous pool of bigots and fanatics. No new thoughts or questions raised. Just follow.”

While speaking to Dawn, Punjab Information Secretary Ali Nawaz Malik said the movie was not banned. Given that some content of the film was asked to be removed and clearance from the censor board was awaited, it led to a delay in screening.

Punjab Film Censor Board secretary Farrukh Mahmood told AFP that there would be a full review of the film and it would be censored, if required. Major cinemas in the provincial capital Lahore including Cue Cinemas, Cine Star and Universal Cinemas, did not list the film that added to the speculation of a possible ban.

However, The Express Tribune reported quoting unnamed sources, that the film was not banned in Punjab province, and the NOC was issued on Thursday (20th July) itself. However, the board asked the makers to remove four words that promoted homosexuality from the film before it could run in the theatres.

Initially, the local distributor HKC Entertainment did not agree to the censor board’s demand. Later, they agreed to make the changes and the tickets were made available across the Punjab province. The movie did not face any cuts in other areas of Pakistan, including Sindh and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).

Homosexuality is outlawed in Pakistan

For those who are unaware, homosexuality is prohibited in Pakistan. LGBTQ+ film content, scenes or dialogues are often censored as they “violate the country’s social and cultural values”.

In November 2022, Joyland faced a nationwide ban for LGBTQ+ content in the film. Interestingly, it was the official 2023 entry to the Oscars and won an award at Cannes as well. The national censor board later cleared Joyland, but the Punjab province did not allow the screening of the film.

LGBTQ+ content is not the only reason films face a ban in Pakistan. Another film ‘Zindagi Tamasha’ was banned in 2019 after the director of the film was accused of blasphemy by a religious party over the portrayal of a religious man in the film.

Woman urinates on the floor of Spirit Airlines plane saying staff didn’t let her use the bathroom for two hours

Adding to the already expanding list of shocking actions on airplanes, an African American woman was recorded urinating on the floor of a plane of the United States-based Spirit Airlines mid-air. She complained that she was forced into the disgusting conduct because the airline staff would not allow her to use the lavatory for several hours. She also argued with the crew members.

A flight attendant wearing a black and yellow uniform filmed the unnamed woman who is squatted in a corner. She yelled at the former and complained that the bathroom doors were closed and that she needed to urinate for two hours.

She alleged, “I have to piss for two hours, tell me I can’t, close the doors.” The employee responded with, “Say hello to the camera for me,” to which the woman told her to “blame yourself.” She reiterated, “Your plane has stopped, I said I can’t hold the pee.”

She further challenged, “You can do whatever you want. You can send a search warrant, arresting me is better than this.” Meanwhile, the stewardess recommended her to drink some water because “your pee stinks.” Afterwards, the passenger stood up and pulled up her pants at the end of the 20-second clip before she started to walk away.

Notably, Spirit Airlines is yet to offer any statement on the matter.

Reaction on the social media

A netizen complained, “Total incompatibility with our civilization,” and mentioned a previous occurrence to drive the point home.

Another wondered, “What to say,” and commented, “Society is rapidly falling apart.”

An individual questioned why the woman was being referred to as an African American when her accent didn’t indicate the same.

One social media user clarified, “She’s not an Afro-American, she’s just an Afro-immigrant of the kind we have back home. You can hear it by her accent, which is very different from that of African-Americans.”

“Is it to verbalize her dissatisfaction with the rise in prices,” asked someone and exclaimed, “Just mind-blowing!”

A person expressed his displeasure as to where the society is headed.

Unruly behaviour on aeroplanes has become startlingly regular during the past few months. The recent strange occurrences range from one passenger urinating on another, airline abandoning passengers at the airport and a woman being bitten by a scorpion on a flight.
