Pakistan: Milk prices rise to Pakistani Rs 210 per liter, chicken prices go past Pakistani Rs 700 per kg

0

Consumers in Pakistan continue to experience major price shocks, as the cash-strapped country continues to experience one of the worst economic crises in the world. Prices of daily essentials such as milk, chicken, red meat etc have seen astronomical hikes over the past few days.

In India, chicken is priced at Rs 250 per kg on BigBasket and the rates are even lower in the open market. The online cost of milk starts from around Rs. 50 per litre. It can be obtained at lower rates offline. However, prices are doubled if one moves across the border.

The price of boneless meat, in our hostile neighbour, surged by Rs. 150–200 per kg during this time, reaching a new record of Rs. 1,000–1,100 per kg. While meat costs Rs. 800-850 for the same quantity, boneless poultry meat has surpassed the price of boneless veal, which is currently being offered for Rs. 900-1,000 a kg.

Spike in prices of Milk

Regarding loose milk, Waheed Gaddi, the communications coordinator for the Karachi Milk Retailers Association, asserted, “Merchants are selling milk at an inflated rate. These are not our members’ businesses, rather, they are those of wholesalers and dairy producers. Our 4,000 store members have maintained the pricing at Rs190 per litre,” he added.

Retailers will be required to charge consumers Rs. 220 per litre instead of Rs. 210 as per the revised rate calculation after an increase of Rs. 27 per litre in procurement price, Gaddi noted, if the price hike proposed by dairy farmers and wholesalers is not reversed.

On December 16, 2022, the commissioner of Karachi gave merchants a raise of Rs. 10 per litre so that they could sell milk at Rs. 180 per litre. However, the majority of shopkeepers continued to sell milk at Rs. 190 per litre, refusing the official rate. The authorized wholesale rate was also increased at that time from Rs. 160 to Rs. 170 per litre.

Waheed claimed that the association had notified the commissioner of Karachi on February 10 that, in flagrant violation of the Sindh High Court’s order regarding the mechanism for fixing the price of fresh milk, the association had been denied the chance to be heard while the prices were set via notifications on October 25, 2022, and December 16, 2022, despite a clearly observable increase in overhead costs of retail stores.

Retailers, he alleged, were still having trouble selling milk at a controlled rate after purchasing it at higher costs since they were still not receiving it at informed wholesale pricing.

Waheed maintained that only retailers had been targeted in order to enforce the application of official retail rates. “The Commissioner had not taken any action in this regard against the stakeholders,” he said.

According to him, dairy farmers increased the price once again on February 11 to Rs. 183 per litre from the official rate of Rs. 163 per litre that was issued on December 16, 2022.

He continued by saying that shops had two choices: either pay more for milk or quit buying and selling it altogether.

Poultry

As per Kamal Akhtar Siddiqui, general secretary of the Sindh Poultry Wholesalers Association, the wholesale price of a live chicken is Rs. 600 per kg, while the price of a kilogramme of meat is between Rs. 650 and Rs. 700. However, dealers set their own prices.

He reported that there were still issues with the port’s ability to clear soybean meal, one of the primary components of chicken feed. The price of a 50 kg bag of chicken feed has increased to Rs. 7,200 in the past month due to the price surge of soy-free poultry feed.

The delay in opening new letters of credit for the import of soya bean meal, he added, as well as the concern over the devaluation of the Pakistan rupee were both contributing to the volatility of chicken product pricing for customers in the upcoming months.

The federal, provincial, and local governments are not doing their fair share in protecting consumers from paying exorbitant costs for practically all food goods, allowing producers and traders to keep raising prices.

Customers feel that ‘both milk stakeholders and Commissioner of Karachi play hide and seek every time and carry short-term raids at retail shops to appease consumers, which are then halted.’

Pakistan is experiencing an unprecedented economic downturn. The country’s foreign exchange reserves fell to the lowest level since 1998 at roughly USD 3 billion, which is not nearly enough to pay a month’s worth of imports, and the rupee is at a record low. Inflation is also at an all-time high.

Kerala: Muslim man thrashed after a Christian CPI(M) leader accuses him of brainwashing his daughter to convert to Islam, clashes erupt

0

In Kerala, a group of Muslim youths and some members of the CPI(M) party came face to face after the daughter of a local influential Christian CPI(M) leader approached the court seeking permission to stay with her Muslim husband. The incident reportedly happened in Kerala’s Malappuram district.

According to reports, the clash started after the judge granted permission to the duo to stay together. The father of the girl, who accused the Muslim youth of luring and brainwashing his daughter to convert to Islam, and his aides, reportedly thrashed the youth in front of a court after the judge allowed the couple to live together.

Soon after, numerous supporters of the Muslim youth arrived on the spot and clashed with CPI(M) workers. Thodupuzha police, who had anticipated the simmering tension, dispatched around 100 officers to the area. The entire police force, however, was unable to keep the mob under control. Several police officers were also hurt in the incident. At one point, CPM leaders snatched mobile phones and hijacked the car in which the Islamists arrived. Top police officials intervened and returned the car and phones to the owners.

Idukki Muttam police registered a case against 14 accused, including CPI(M) district leaders, area secretaries T R Soman and Mohammad Faisal, area committee members Shimnas, Albin Vadassery and M S Sarath. A few relatives of the girl were also charged.

Three friends who accompanied the youth and participated in the violence were also charged. According to the court’s order, the Christian girl and her Muslim husband were taken to a shelter home in Malappuram.

According to reports, the Muslim youth befriended the girl, who is a native of Thodupuzha Cheruthoni in the Idukki district, on social media when she was a minor. The youth entrapped her in his love. Earlier this month, as soon as she turned an adult, her lover lured the girl to his place in Malappuram. He then brainwashed her to convert to Islam, after which the duo got married as per Islamic rituals. The duo approached the court seeking permission to stay together.

The girl’s father, a CPM leader, filed a missing person’s report at Karinkunnam police station on February 4th. The family lives in Maniyarankudy, a village 7 kilometres north of Cheruthoni.

Following an investigation, authorities examined her phone location and discovered the girl in Malappuram. This is when they supposedly realised she was at the Islamic conversion facility. The police arrived and rescued the girl.

When the young girl appeared in Muttom Thodupuzha District Court, her lover and his aides also arrived. The court solicited the lady’s opinion because she was an adult, and the girl chose to go with the male friend of her own free choice.

Her parents were also in court and witnessed their daughter tell the judge that she did not want to accompany her father and mother. Her relatives, as well as other local CPM members and leaders, were present when this occurred. When the court was adjourned and the couple left, the two groups engaged in a heated confrontation.

Assam child marriage crackdown: Over 3,000 arrests made so far

0

Assam’s chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, recently said that the state’s campaign against child marriage had resulted in around 3,015 arrests. He made the announcement on Twitter. On January 23, the state cabinet resolved to take action against child marriage and simultaneously began a massive awareness campaign. Assam police started its operation against the social evil on 3 February.

According to Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam Police have apprehended over 1,800 persons till Friday in a broad campaign against child marriage. The CM stated, that the crackdown had started early in the morning across the state and will go on for the next three to four days.

“I have asked Assam Police to act with a spirit of zero tolerance against the unpardonable and heinous crime on women,” the CM had said. Assam government ordered police to arrest males who married girls between the ages of 14 and 18 under the prohibition of child marriage act and to round up men who wedded girls younger than 14 under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) act.

In order to lower infant and maternal mortality rates and prevent child marriages in rural areas, the cabinet also resolved to appoint all 2,197 Gram Panchayat Secretaries as ‘Child Marriage Prevention (Prohibition) Officers’ under the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006. The CM claimed that the decision was made after the state cabinet had a detailed discussion of the National Family Health Survey (NHFS) 5.

In the Barak Valley regions of southern Assam, over 100 marriages were either called off or delayed, while 2,278 people were arrested and 4,074 complaints filed till Sunday as part of the widespread initiation.

Sarma informed, “More than one lakh underage girls were married off and many of them became child mothers in the recent years including a girl who was just nine years old when she delivered a baby. Action will also be taken against the parents as well as priests or Qazis who performed these illegal marriages.”

In the 4074 cases that were filed, more than 8000 accused were listed. The majority of these weddings occurred in the lower and central regions of Assam, which have sizable populations of undocumented Bangladeshi immigrants.

Who is Chahat Fateh Ali Khan? The latest viral sensation from Pakistan makes Taher Shah look like (mankind) angel

If you are familiar with the cringe content the unimaginable ‘sensations’ share on the internet, there is a chance you came across Ustad Chahat Fateh Ali Khan at some point. First, it is of utmost importance to make it clear that Chahat is in no way related to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan or Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. His real name is Kashif Rana. He was born in Pakistan and currently drives a minicab in London.

The 56-year-old “singer” is believed to have taken the screen name “Chahat Fateh Ali Khan” without taking due permission from the musician’s family. Inspired by the legendary singers, Chahat started making videos and posted them on social media during the Covid-19 lockdown. His fans describe him as an expert in not just qawwali but other genres, including pop, classical, Bollywood and more. He has become so famous that, believe it or not, people have started calling him for weddings. We don’t know the motive behind hiring him to entertain people at weddings, but it could be hate for the relatives.

Anyway, he has recently made headlines for his new release “Ye Jo Pyaara PSL Hai”. PSL is Pakistan Super League. It is the ‘Bhikhari’ version of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Six teams represent different cities every year in PSL. The first tournament was held in 2016 with five teams. The song’s lyrics are similar to his old release, “Yeh Jo Jhanda Hai”.

In an interview on the Pakistani news channel PNN with Fiza Riaz and Wajahat Khan, Chahat claimed that it took him a week to write, compose, record and release the song. He has released five songs in the last six months. PSL song was his sixth release. He further added that he completed seven years as a singer on January 11, 2023. He claimed to have spent eight hours every day practising during the lockdown.

When Chahat started singing his sensational song Tun Tunaa Tun, Riaz lost control of her laughter. He explained it was a “dance number”. Okay, Chahat, we agree it is a dance number, but there was no need to show the ‘dance moves’.

Yeh Jo Jhanda hai, ismein Danda hai…

Six months ago, in August 2022, he released a sensational song on Pakistan’s Independence Day. The lyrics of the song are, “Yeh jo jhanda hai, Yeh jo pyara jhanda hai, yeh jo kaumi parcham hai, yeh jo sohna jhanda hai, yeh jo jhanda hai, oh ismein… oh ismein danda hai… on ismein danda hai.” Before saying ‘danda’, he started doing the Bhangra, and the background music was also pumped up to match his dance moves.

Chahat writes, composes, records and releases his songs himself without any support from a label. He held numerous live sessions on Facebook during lockdown that helped in gaining traction and increasing his fan base.

Chahat reminds me of Mankind Angel fame Taher Shah

Chahat is not the only sensation in the cringe music genre. Another famous Pakistani in the genre was Taher Shah of Mankind Angel fame. Sadly, the cringe star has not produced any song for the last two years. Some reports suggested he left singing after receiving death threats.

If you are interested in exploring similar talent from India, the recent sensation Anam Ali will be the best choice.

Bihar: 3 time bombs and narcotics recovered from one Mohammad Javed’s house, probe on his links to Pakistan and Kashmir underway

0

On Saturday, February 11, 2023, Bihar’s Muzaffarpur police recovered three time-bomb-like devices, along with five empty cartridges, four cell phones, and 400 grams of contraband. The devices were recovered from the house of one Mohammad Javed Ahmed alias Sinhu located at Tin-Kothia mohalla falling under Mithanpura police station.

The Muzaffarpur police have so far arrested three accused namely, Mohammad Javed, a resident of Muzaffarpur, Mohammad Shami, a resident of Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh and one other in connection with the case.

Notably, a report by Hindustan Times has named the other two accused as Mohammad Faiz Alam (nephew of Javed) and Mohammad Rehman while other reports name them as Mohammad Shami.

The information was shared by the police on Twitter.

Further detailing the case, the police stated that the accused allegedly developed the time bombs after watching videos on YouTube. Mohammad Javed and his associates assembled the device using batteries purchsed from Jharkhand and wires bought from West Bengal. The watch that was used in the device was purchased in Muzaffarpur itself.

The police also learned that one of the three accused has ties with Pakistan. The police also stated that Pakistani phone numbers were discovered in one of the three accused’s phones. Furthermore, Javed, from whose house the bombs were recovered, had previously visited Kashmir on multiple occasions.

A photograph of a burnt youth was also discovered in Mohammed Shami’s phone. It is believed that the youth must have got burnt in an explosion that probably must have happened during the making of the bombs or its trial.

According to reports, the ATS, CID, and IB have been called in to investigate the matter. Mohammad Javed was sent to jail by Muzaffarpur police on Sunday (February 12, 20230 after being interrogated by officials from all three departments.

Meanwhile, the investigative authorities are reviewing the accused’s bank accounts and travel histories. Since their Pakistan-Kashmir connection has emerged, the police are probing the accused’s terror link. However, the authorities have yet to determine why the accused made the explosive.

A case has been registered in this connection and the help of CCTV footage and mobile surveillance is being taken to identify those who brought the devices. “It will be premature to say anything about reason begin it. We are still investigating the matter,” Rakesh Kumar, Muzaffarpur senior superintendent of police (SSP) was quoted as saying.

The police filed an FIR under numerous sections, including possession of explosives, guns, and NDPS, against the arrested accused Mohammad Javed and his brother Mohammad Jackie, who they said is currently at large. After further facts are revealed, the police might consider adding other related sections of the IPC.

BBC, which employed the most famous pedophile in the world Jimmy Savile, comes out in support of child marriages in Assam

0

The Indian state of Assam is executing a massive crackdown against child marriages in the state right now, arresting thousands of people involved in these marriages. Thousands of cases have been filed and most of them have resulted in arrests.

While most sane people have praised the Assam government for cracking down on child marriages,  the national broadcaster of the United Kingdom, British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), has strongly come out in support of child marriages.

First BBC published a piece titled, “Indian women protest against child marriage mass arrest”, trying to push the theory that Indian women are somehow in favor of child marriages. Interestingly, BBC in its own report says that child marriages are prevalent in India due to patriarchal traditions, and then goes on to support that patriarchy.

If one report wasn’t enough, BBC came back to affirm that they really support child marriages in another piece titled, “Assam: India child brides desperate after mass arrests”. In this piece, the BBC writer Zoya Mateen argued that arresting men involved in child marriages leaves their child brides without any support.

Once again, the BBC tried to imply that this crackdown on child marriages is somehow discriminatory against Muslims since they are mostly involved in child marriages. Coming from any other source, it would have counted as racist and Islamophobic, but somehow BBC can get away with saying that Muslims indulge in child marriages.

BBC also goes on to say that cracking down on such child marriages will force these marriages underground, so what are we supposed to do BBC, allow child marriages overground? Allow 60 years old men to marry 8 years old girls?

If BBC feels so strongly about child marriages, and in fact believes that child marriages are good for society, then why doesn’t BBC fight for child marriages in Britain?

The troubled history of BBC and pedophilia

BBC talking in support of child marriages is especially worrying because, for decades, BBC’s biggest star was pedophile Jimmy Savile. The “BBC legend” was famous for abusing children sexually, with the first of those allegations appearing in 1958, but they were ignored by BBC till 2011 when Savile died.

So an organization that eulogized Jimmy Savile coming out in support of child marriages is hardly a surprise, but the only surprising part is that why don’t they do it in Britain? Why should Indians cater to the pedophile tendencies of the Brits?

In case the BBC didn’t notice, British Raj in India ended in 1947, and you no longer get to tell us what we should do. It is about time you focus on Britain, where grooming gangs are targeting teenage girls in Britain, and don’t worry about the crackdown on child marriages elsewhere.

‘Shri Ram is descendant of Hazrat Adam’: Maulana Sajid Rashidi defends Maulana Madani over his ‘Allah, Om one’ remark

Controversial statements by Islamist Maulanas in India are not over yet. After Maulana Madani compared Om with Allah and Manu with Adam, Maulana Sajid Rashidi has come up with a new claim in which he said that the first human Hazrat Adam was a Muslim and that he was a messenger of God. Maulana Sajid Rashidi said that this so-called first human worshipped Allah. He further claimed that Manu and Hazrat Adam are the same and all the gods and goddesses including Shri Ram are descendants of this so-called Hazrat Adam.

While speaking to the news agency ANI, Maulana Sajid Rashidi was giving an explanation of the controversial statements given by Maulana Madani. During this, he said, “I am telling the things as per my faith. Because the constitution allows us to believe in our faith, practice it, and preach it. So, according to our faith, we believe that Hazrat Adam was the first human. He was also a messenger of god. When Akhand Bharat existed, at that time, Sri Lanka, Iran, Iraq, etc. all were united. At that time, he came to Sri Lanka which is Hindustan. He was a messenger of god. we call him Hazrat Adam and he is mentioned many times in Quran.”

Maulana Sajid Rashidi added, “So, he (Maulana Madani) meant to say that the first human was a messenger of god and that he was a Muslim. It is only after him that the rest of the world was created. This means that Hazrat Adam came as the first human and everything else was created after that. He meant that Hazrat Adam too believed in Allah. We call Hazrat Adam to the one whom you call Manu. Therefore, he worshipped Allah and it is properly mentioned in Quran a number of times in various chapters. Quran tells about why Hazrat Adam came to this world, why he was sent here, how did he have kids here in this world, how many times he married, and all. So, all he (Maulana Madani) meant to say was that everything is mentioned there. “

Maulana Sajid Rashidi continued, “Quran says that Hazrat Adam also believed in Allah. Because he was the first human. All humans were born only after him. Be it Shri Ram or you take an example of any god or goddess. Every one of them is a descendant of Hazrat Adam. This was the motive behind his (Maulana Madani’s) statement. And this is my faith.”

Maulana Sajid Rashidi said, “I can express my faith anywhere. I can say it among people like me or among others because the constitution gives me the right to do so. There was no need to make a controversy out of this. Those who have created a controversy have done so in an unnecessary way. If Jain Dharmagurus or Hindu Dharmagurus start to talk according to their faiths then what happens? Nowadays, there are talks about Ramayan (Ramcharitmanas) that some of the Chaupais are incorrect. Ram Ji left Seeta Ji, or he went to the jungles as per the orders of his father, we never talk about this. Because it is your faith. We talk about our faith. Making controversy on these things is a mindset that prevents Hindus and Muslims from uniting together. This controversy is purposely created so that the hatred between Hindus and Muslims grows more.”

Maulana Sajid Rashidi further said, “Jain Dharmaguru Lokesh is connected to me on WhatsApp. We have a word almost daily, or after every 1 or 2 days. If he sits in front of me, I will prove this to him. Let him come with his scriptures, I will take along my scriptures. If he proves that the first human to come into this world was a Jain or a Hindu, then I will accept it. We are proving things. Our religious book Quran says that the first human who came into this world was a Muslim who believed in Allah and worshipped Allah. All other humans came into existence only after that first human. All are his descendants.”

Maulana Sajid Rashidi recently whitewashed Mahmud Ghazni

On Thursday, February 9, Gujarat Police said that an FIR was lodged against Maulana Sajid Rashidi, the chairman of the All India Imam Association for his remarks that the Islamic tyrant Mahmud of Ghazni did not destroy Somnath Temple due to his hatred towards infidels (Kafirs) but to stop the alleged ‘wrongdoings’ that were taking place inside the temple.

The complaint against the Hinduphobic maulana was filed by Somnath Temple Trust General Manager Vijaysinh Chavda on the basis of which a case has been registered by the police. Following the FIR, Maulana Sajid Rashidi issued a half-hearted apology to Somnath Trust saying it was not his intention to hurt anyone. He also stated that his claims were based on Romila Thapar’s writings. he also added that during their 800-year rule, Muslim rulers in India had donated lands for temples and invested money to beautify those temples.

Karnataka: SDPI may field Praveen Nettaru murder case accused on the Puttur assembly seat in the upcoming state assembly elections

Banned organization Popular Front of India’s (PFI) political wing Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) has announced that it will field Shafi Bellare in the upcoming Karnataka assembly elections which are scheduled to take place later year. Shafi Bellare is one of the accused in Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leader Praveen Nettaru’s murder case.

Shafi Bellare is one among the probable three to run for the Puttur constituency in the Dakshina Kannada district from SDPI, according to an announcement made by SDPI state president Abdul Majeed. Notably, the NIA has detained Shafi Bellare in connection with the murder of Praveen Nettaru. A recce of Praveen Nettaru’s home and information about the victim’s activities were both given by Shafi, the NIA’s chargesheet states.

SDPI Karnataka’s state general secretary and election in-charge said while speaking to Times Now, “Look, our state secretary Shafi Bellare is wrongfully fixed in the Praveen Nettaru murder case. He has done nothing wrong. He is politically trapped and sent to jail, in this case. His name is there in our first list of probable candidates. Though the names are not fixed yet, we can confirm the name in the second list. There are two-three more candidates in consideration for that seat but we will confirm the name in the second list. He is one of the proposed candidates. We will release the second list in February’s last week.”

He added, “The day Shafi Bellare was arrested, we took a press conference and said that he is framed in this case under a political conspiracy. He has nothing to do with the murder case. We will fight the legal battle in court. Right now he is just an accused and nothing is proven so far.

According to a report by Republic World, BJP leader S Prakash said, “It is disgusting that a murder accused is announced as the candidate for assembly poll. The SDPI and PFI are terror and murderous organizations. The blatant support of the murder accused who is behind the bar, the SDPI has proved that their colour has not changed and they remain an anti-social element.”

He added, “Merely announcing the candidature does not make him the MLA. It’s the people’s will that is essential. People will give a befitting reply to the SDPI.”

On July 26, 2022, a Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha (BJYM) worker Praveen Nettaru was hacked to death by unidentified assailants. Late evening, the killers came on a bike to Bellari, Dakshina Kannada of Karnataka, and attacked Nettaru with sharp weapons. Praveen Nettaru, who ran a poultry business, was returning home when the attack happened. The assailants escaped after the attack. The Hindu leader was rushed to the hospital, but he could not be saved.

Following Nettaru’s murder, unrest broke out in the Dakshina Kannada district in a number of locations. Soon after, state Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai turned over the Praveen Nettaru murder case to the NIA. In January 2023, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a chargesheet against 20 members of the banned Islamist outfit Popular Front of India (PFI) for murdering Karnataka BJYM leader Praveen Nettaru. The NIA informed a special court that Nettaru was murdered by a killer squad of the PFI as part of its plan to instil terror into a “specific community” (Hindus) and further their agenda of “Islamic rule in India by 2047.”

The chargesheet was submitted by the anti-terror organization before a Bengaluru special court under sections 120B, 153A, 302, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, as well as sections 16, 18, and 20 of the 1967 Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Section 25(1)(a) of the Arms Act.

‘One needs to stay connected to roots and culture’: Chidanand Saraswati of ‘Parmarth Niketan’ after Madani’s statement

Islamic organization Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind and its chief Maulana Arshad Mahmood Madani are in the middle of a fresh controversy. Maulana Madani, who had earlier called India the motherland of Muslims, has now described Manu and Adam, and Om and Allah as one and the same. Jain Acharya Muni Lokesh left the stage, criticizing Madani. However, Acharya Chidanand has said that one has to remain connected to one’s roots and culture after Madani’s contentious remarks stirred a furore.

According to reports, Swami Chidanand of Parmarth Niketan has said, “There is no point of agreement or disagreement with Madani’s statement. I expressed my views in my own way. He has expressed his views in his own way. Whoever wants to listen will listen. I don’t know what Lokesh Muni ji had in his mind and what he understood, or in what sense he has taken it.”

Acharya Chidanand has also said, “I have taken Madani’s point in such a way that I respect everyone. For me, everything is equal and I respect everyone. This is also said in the Constitution of our country. However, if one believes in the religion of Islam and describes its specialty, then he must tell. It is natural. He will tell its specialty.”

He has further said that the person who believes in Hinduism will also tell the characteristics of Hinduism. But while explaining the features of one’s own religion, one should stay connected to his origin, values, and roots of culture and values. That’s today’s message.

On the other hand, Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha national president Chakrapani Maharaj has also retaliated against Madani’s statement. Chakrapani Maharaj said, “He believes in Manu. Manu followed Sanatana dharma. Lord Vishnu appeared in the form of a fish to save him. That is why Maulana Madani becomes a Sanatani Hindu. Now he needs to showcase patriotism, chant Vande Mataram, and chant Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Because Hindus following Sanatan Dharma are patriots.”

What did Maulana Madani say?

Maulana Madani had said, “I asked great religious figures when there was no one, neither Shri Ram, nor Lord Shiv, nor Brahma, then whom did Manu worship? Some said, he used to worship Lord Shiv, but they are ignorant. Very few people told me that Manu used to pray to OM. I asked them, who is Om? They said that he is one without any form or color. He is everywhere, just like air. He created everything.”

Maulana Madani added, “I said, he is the one we call Allah. Persian people call him Khuda and the ones who speak English refer to him as God. It means that Manu, also known as Adam, worshipped one God, who is Om and our Allah. Hazrat Adam, who was a prophet, was first brought into the land of India. If He wished, He would have landed Adam in Africa, Arabia, and Russia. They also know, we also know that the land of India was chosen to bring Adam to the world.”

Maulana Madani also expressed his views on the statements regarding Ghar Wapasi which were given by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. Maulana Madani said, “It is only under the BJP government that we heard that 20 crore Muslims should revert to their home. By this, they meant conversion to Hinduism. These people don’t know anything about India’s history. Islam is not a new religion in India. Rather, Allah brought down Prophet Adam i.e. Manu here, his wife Eve, whom they (Hindus) call Hamvati and he is the ancestor of all prophets, Muslims, Hindus, and Christians.”

Jain seer Acharya Lokesh Muni slammed Ma8ulana Madani

Jain Acharya Lokesh Muni reprimanded Maulana Madani and said, “No one agrees with what Madani has said. I request him to talk about love if he wants to talk about connecting us. The story you have told about Om, Allah, Manu, this, and that – I can tell 4 times more stories than that. I invite you to come to Delhi for a discussion with me, or even I can come to visit you in Saharanpur.”

He has denounced Madani’s statement and said, “None of us agree with his statements. We only agree with living in harmony and brotherhood, but all the stories regarding, Om, Allah, and Manu are rubbish. The tales he weaved, I can narrate even better stories than that. He completely spoiled the atmosphere of the session.”
