A musical event organised by Delhi CM Atishi in the Kalkaji area of Delhi was stopped by the Delhi police after it was found that no permission was taken
Notably, Delhi police have identified more than 25 "illegal" immigrants from Bangladesh and have started the process to deport them to their home country, an official said.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla on Friday accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of ordering the demolition of 24 temples in Delhi between 2016 and 2023.
It is crucial to note that several AAP leaders like Saurabh Bharadwaj, Imran Hussain, and Raghuvinder Shokeen have been conducting door-to-door registration across all the 70 constituencies in Delhi to get the forms registered for the purpose of the supposed schemes.
Meanwhile, another person named Ravikant came up with a similar complaint alleging that he entrusted Asadul Mondal with 5.5 kg of gold jewelry, worth approximately Rs. 3 crores 90 lakh, and diamonds valued at Rs. 40 lacs for repair, polishing, and intricate design work.
"In response to growing concerns about the illegal stay of Bangladeshi immigrants residing in the country without any valid Indian document, the Outer District Police has stepped up efforts to identify, detain and repatriate individuals living in National Capital, Delhi without valid documentation," as per an official release.
