After doing Ghar Wapsi, Samreen told media that she started liking Hindu Dharma after observing the customs and ways of her lover's family.

The victim was told by Muhammad Arman, "You are a Hindu. We married you out of greed." Following this, every accused attempted to seize the victim’s original Nikah-related documents from her.

The accused's brother also sexually assaulted the victim and she received death threats after complaining about it.

In her complaint, the victim stated that she is originally from Bihar's Nawada area. She used to work in Delhi where met Mohammad Arif, a resident of Bareilly. After some time, Arif caught the girl in his love trap and brought the woman to his residence in Bareilly's Baheri. During this time, he raped her multiple times and pressurised the victim to convert to Islam around a year ago.

The kidnapping and attempted rape took place in Deoraniyan police station area of ​​Bareilly. On Wednesday (May 22, 2024), the victim's father lodged a complaint in the police station in this regard.

The Judge's family was allegedly assaulted by Dumpy Ahmed who is currently on the run along with his associates after a police complaint.

An unidentified number posted a "Hi" message on the victim's WhatsApp on Tuesday, 7th May.

After doing Gharwapsi, both of them stated that they had faith in the Hindu religion for a long time and declared themselves free from the fear of Triple Talaq and Halala.   

The family members of the victim said in the FIR that the minor had left her house on Wednesday (May 8, 2024) for her college studies.The accused forcefully abducted the Hindu minor on his bike from the road. After this, he raped her and then took her to a nearby railway line and threw her in front of a moving train.

Shama Parveen's family was against her relationship with Shivam Verma. Hence, she left them, did ghar-wapsi and married him.
