The cyclone has killed 12 people in West Bengal, while seven others have reportedly died in neighbouring Bangladesh. At least three people have lost their lives due to Cyclone Amphan in Odisha.

As per the latest data released by the Indian Meteorological Department, the Cyclone Amphan is presently about 125 km away from the Odisha port city of Paradip, 240 km South of Digha and 395 km south west of Khepupara.
The cyclone Amphan is moving over the southeast Bay of Bengal and has been turning north-northwestwards over past six hours, the IMD said.
