The devotees were returning from the Kalash Shobha Yatra after a visit to the Durga temple.

All the 10 accused gangraped the minor girl and recorded her obscene videos. They threatened to release her video is she did not come to meet them whenever called by them.

The locals alleged a conspiracy behind the idol vandalisation. One of the locals said that the idol was vandalised after everyone had left after performing the daily prayer

During the meeting, Police Station Incharge Ranjay Kumar said that DJ should not be played at any cost by Hindus in the Ram Navami procession.
