More than 2 months have passed since Justin Trudeau's remark but Canada is yet to provide any evidence of India's involvement in Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar's murder.
India reiterated its call for Canada to respect the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations amid reports of Khalistani elements disturbing a consular camp organised in Indian High Commission in Canada.
"Think about it from our perspective, we have serious reasons to believe that agents of the Government of India could have been involved in the killing of a Canadian citizen on Canadian soil," Trudeau claimed.
