One Md Aslam was arrested for firing in Jahangirpuri recently. However, it is not clear if the person in the viral video is Aslam.

Police have also recovered a pistol from Md Aslam which he reportedly used during the incident on Saturday evening.

The Delhi Police has filed an FIR in connection with the violence that occurred in Jahangirpuri and 14 arrests are made.

Several videos are viral on social media in which the mob can be seen flashing swords and other weapons along with chanting slogans of Allahu Akbar.
