In Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, a Hindu woman was sexually harassed and blackmailed for forced religious conversion inside SS Mall, and now it appears to be part of a larger conversion racket.

Investigations revealed that Jacob had been visiting India since 2016 on tourist and business visas, raising concerns about the potential misuse of visa provisions to carry out religious propagation under the guise of legitimate travel.

A case of conversion has come to light in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. An attempt was being made to change the religion of children outside Madhav Rao Sapre school. Three women have been arrested in this case. The women were trying to deceive the children outside the school. Allegedly, the three women were asking children to go to church and convert to Christianity after a holiday outside the school.

Missionary organisations have been offering money to people and providing facilities like installing hand pumps to lure people to convert.

VHP established a two-day camp in these hamlets as part of an awareness effort to motivate people to return to Sikhism.

The case is yet another reminder of how missionaries have been weaponising superstition to target vulnerable individuals who refuse to convert to Christianity
