EAM S Jaishankar called for zero tolerance for terrorism at SCO foreign minister's meeting in Tashkent

Dr Jaishankar denied any truth in the report by the WSJ that India is readying for the transhipment of Russian oil to bypass sanctions.

Abhisar Sharma claimed that the two Indian ministers did not react to Blinken's remarks there by validating US claims. However, Sharma's claims were premature as Dr Jaishankar soon gave a 'befitting reply'.

Interacting with the students at the Howard University in the US, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar asserted that the young Americans should have a better understanding of India and the world for the ties between the two countries to go.

Dr. Jaishankar said that India's current relationship with China is unhealthy and present situation is a 'Work in Progress.'

Initially, the delegation was to visit to discuss the UK-India free trade deal, however, the purpose of their visit changed after Russia launched its special military operations in Ukraine in February.

“Despite the challenges posed by the serious ongoing conflict, we have ensured that about 22,500 citizens have returned home safely,” S Jaishankar said in the parliament.
