Around 67,000 Pakistani pilgrims may miss the Hajj this year due to delays and mismanagement by private tour operators

It has come to light that Muslims travelling to Saudi Arabia from India, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Sudan, Tunisia, and Yemen have repeatedly violated visa rules.

Jahan lashed out at the opposition and accused them of misleading the Muslim community and misusing religious sentiments for their political agenda.

Saudi authorities cautioned that if Islamabad fails to take appropriate action, it could negatively impact the religious and interpersonal relations between the two nations.

An X user replied, "Mohammed Junaid Khan wrote, "I remember the driver taking us from Makkah to Madinah was throwing phone numbers at all the women. The whole way he was harassing. A similar incident happened. The husband got down to buy water, the driver fled away taking the wife. She was never found."

One of the most significant reasons for stampede is overcrowding. In many cases, the number of attendees of an event exceeds the capacity of the venue of the area where the event is happening. It can lead to dangerous situations. Furthermore, poor planning and crowd management add up to the problem.

This has been the first time that Pakistan had to surrender its Hajj quota, which shows the drastic impact of inflation in the country.

An advocate, Aamir Javed, has filed a plea in the High Court claiming that it is the "constitutional right" of every Muslim employee of the Central and State government to be sent on deployment to Jeddah during the Haj pilgrimage
