Congress’s poor performance in the Bihar Assembly elections, winning only six seats, has triggered frustration among senior leaders. From Shashi Tharoor to Mani Shankar Aiyar, many have criticized weak organization, wrong decisions, and leadership disconnect, demanding serious introspection and internal reforms.
The Election Commission confirmed all 941 objections in the Bihar SIR voter list revision came from individuals. Political parties, including Congress and RJD, did not file a single claim despite their large field presence.
Bharatiya Janata Party occupies only one bungalow, that is, 14, Pandit Pant Marg. It was allotted to the party in 1999. The BJP was occupying 11, Ashoka Road, which served as the party’s headquarters. However, it was vacated by the party and is currently allotted to BJP MP from Odisha, Baijayant Panda.
