After India lodged strong protest against US for hitting ships with Indian crew, Trump now claims US saved Indian ships from Iranian attack

US has acknowledged attacking the three commercial vessels that had Indian crew, indirectly admitting to killing three Indian sailors in the MT Settebello. However, the claims made by Trump that Iran sent attack drones at Indian ships transiting Hormuz have been made after India's strong diplomatic response against the US over the deaths of Indian crew.
