The Health Services Association, West Bengal has spoken out against the manner in which the state administration is collecting the samples for the Coronavirus tests.

The West Bengal government has also slapped a fine of Rs 10 lakhs on Tribeni Lab the ground that it was conducting Covid-19 tests without approval.

During the period of 7th April to 3rd May, 5.57 crore total household visits have been conducted. 872 cases of persons with SARI and 91,515 cases of persons with ILI have been identified and given necessary health advice, informed WB Chief Minister.

The Inter-Ministerial Central Team (IMCT) has slammed the West Bengal government for its handling of the Wuhan Coronavirus crisis.
