The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced that it will no longer participate in any future editions of the World Championship of Legends (WCL),
“As a chief selector, it's my decision as to who will work with me and whose support I need. But people started discussing nepotism and dosti, due to which I am reverting this decision. I have already spoken to Salman Butt and told him that he cannot be a part of my team," Riaz continued.
"It's insane to have a selection committee consisting of a member whose decision can be termed as a display of filial affection or non-affection and another who was locked up for match-fixing," Ramiz Raja said on appointment of Salman Butt.
PCB said in its press release, "Looking ahead, the board will make decisions in the best interest of Pakistan cricket based on the team's performances in the World Cup."
Talking about the upcoming One Day Internationals World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in India later this year, Miandad said that the Pakistan team should not visit India if the Indian team doesn't come to Pakistan for the Asia Cup.
