Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday inaugurated several developmental projects in Shalimar Bagh, including a pilot project to convert overhead wires into an underground power network.
As the national capital gears up for the upcoming Kanwar yatra, the Delhi cabinet has decided that Kanwar committees will be getting funds directly from the Delhi government through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced.
"There was just Delhi Schools Act 1973 in which there was one section on fee in which there was no guideline so that the fee hike in private schools could be checked," she said.
Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, who also oversees the finance department, will present the CAG report on 'Public Health Infrastructure and Management of Health Services' in the Assembly on Friday.
Speaking to ANI, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva said, "CAG report is a list of the black deeds of AAP. We had promised the people of Delhi during the elections that whoever has committed corruption will have to answer. Today, we hope that after the speech of LG, when the CAG report will be tabled, all their black deeds will come before the people of Delhi."
