The Hindu woman from Basti district of Uttar Pradesh has said her family's driver Ahmed Raza sexually assaulted her at knife point, and coerced her into converting to Islam after a fake marriage.

The couple in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly lured hundreds of women through social media under the pretext of modeling assignments and filmed pornographic videos.

Sagar further stated that the group warned him against reporting the incident to the authorities, threatening him with dire consequences. He expressed concerns for his life and requested police protection along with legal action against the accused.

Sharif's family claimed they did not understand why they were booked by the police. However, the FIR registered by Unnao Police made it clear that several attendees of Sharif's last rites tried to instigate the mob and blocked the national highway, causing difficulties to commuters.

This comes days after Jagatguru Rambhadracharya came to Varanasi and supported changing the names of Muslim localities.
