Dreaded Indian Mujahideen terrorist arrested by Delhi Police special cell

Delhi Police Special Cell has secured the arrest of terrorist Ariz Khan alias Junaid, member of Indian Mujahideen, who had been absconding for 10 years. The dreaded terrorist is reportedly involved in 5 bomb blasts including the Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Delhi bomb blast cases.


Ariz Khan is a resident of Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh and had a reward of 10 lakh rupees from the NIA and 5 lakh from the Delhi Police on any information leading to his arrest. He is believed to have been involved in the Batla House encounter but had managed to escape.

The arrest of Ajiz Khan is the second big arrest for the Delhi Police after Abdul Subha Qureshi on January 22nd. Qureshi was referred to as ‘India’s Bin Laden’, the bomb-maker was arrested after a brief shootout from Ghazipur. The arrests of the two wanted terrorists are expected to come as a big boost to Indian security agencies.
