Congress loyalist journalists now slander LS Speaker Sumitra Mahajan after she disciplined Rahul Gandhi

The drama in the ongoing No-Confidence motion in the parliament seems to be far from over. Soon after Rahul Gandhi drama ended in the Lok Sabha today, the usual baiters of the Narendra Modi government ganged up to defame one of the most respected Lok Sabha speakers Sumitra Mahajan.

Earlier, after the most enduring drama performed by Rahul Gandhi to show his exemplary theatrics to hug the Prime Minister and also wink at the other member to indicate his the gesture wasn’t genuine, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan had reprimanded the Congress president for his childish behaviour.

But infamous and controversial journalists, who often travel great lengths to defend Rahul Gandhi, don’t seem to be too happy with the decision of the Speaker of the house to school Rahul Gandhi about the procedures and rules to be followed in the house.

Swathi Chaturvedi, troll and a Congress supporter who is known to be foul-mouthed, now thinks that the speaker sided with BJP. She was not particularly happy with Speaker schooling Rahul Gandhi for not following the rules of the house.

Soon, another controversial journalist, Sagarika Ghose supported the views of the troll Swati and said that Speaker Mahajan was an ‘utter disaster’ and ‘partisan’. Sagarika Ghose is famous for abusing others and peddling fake news on social media.

Editor of pro-AAP blog Rifat Jawaid, who was eagerly waiting to show his bias against the BJP, joined the bandwagon to peddle their narrative.

Even self-proclaimed journalists like Saba Naqvi questioned the bi-partisanship of the Speaker. The serial abuser Tehseen Poonawalla also had a thing or two to say about the widely respected Speaker.

It is rather tragic that these commentators, who claim to be neutral, would hardly care about Parliamentary procedure and defame one of the most senior Speakers simply to defend Rahul Gandhi and his theatrics.
