Mumbai resident Raphael Samuel, who identifies himself as antinatalist (a person who believes people should not procreate as it is morally bad), wants to sue his parents for giving him birth. Raphael feels that it was wrong for his parents to have created him without his permission.
In his Facebook post, Raphael said why should he suffer when his parents had him for their ‘pleasure’.

Raphael seems to have developed his own fan base who now think he is their personal hero.
His mother, according to a Facebook update posted by him, admires him for having the ‘temerity to want to take his parents to court knowing both of us are lawyers.”

“If Raphael could come up with a rational explanation as to how we could have sought his consent to be born, I will accept my fault,” she says. Adding that she is proud of her son’s sensitivity “toward the pain experienced unwittingly by children while growing up and so much more has been ruefully forgotten,” she said that she is happy he has grown up to be a fearless, independent thinking man.
