Wikipedia vandals attack Jyotiraditya Scindia as he resigns from Congress amidst rumours of him joining the BJP, call him ‘donkey’

The hate and anger Congress leaders have for Scindia was visible on Twitter too. Many Congress leaders and officials had called Scindia 'traitor' and backstabber on Twitter after the news of him leaving Congress had surfaced.

As soon as Jyotiraditya Scindia decided to leave Congress, Congress leaders and loyal ‘darbaris’ had started calling him names and slandering him. Now, the slamming and name-calling has been taken by Congress supporters to Wikipedia.

Scindia’s Wikipedia page has been vandalised by Congress supporters. They have resorted to calling him names and are using insulting words for him. One Twitter user alleged that Scindia’s Wikipedia page shows words like ‘donkey’, comedian and ‘power-hungry’.

As can be seen in the pictures above, Scindia has been introduced as ‘an Indian comedian’. He has been called ‘power-hungry Scindia’ and ‘donkey from Madhya Pradesh.

Upon searching Wikipedia, we found other edits too. There were some edits which called him one of the most intelligent and faithful leaders of the Indian National Congress. This particular edit also stated that it is the party (congress)’s fault that they are not able to make use of such a faithful leader. It adds that he decided to join BJP because Congress was not able to use his intelligence.

Though Scindia’s Wikipedia page has been restored now and shows the basic information about him, updates of him joining the BJP without any insulting words and derogatory names, the attempts to add insulting words for the politician shows how far the Congress establishment has come to hate him.
