Coochbehar: Another BJP Karyakarta murdered in West Bengal, party blames Mamata Banerjee led Trinamool Congress

The law and order situation in the state has deteriorated immensely under Mamata Banerjee with a massive spike in political murders and violent mobs running rampant and attacking medical institutions across the state.

The spate of political violence in West Bengal continues unabated. There were sufficient indications that political violence in the state won’t come to an end with the General Elections and it appears, there’s no respite from it.

On Tuesday, the BJP announced that another of its karyakartas was murdered by goons associated with Trinamool Congress in Coochbehar. They placed the blame directly at the feet of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Only on Thursday, A BJP woman leader was shot to death in North 24 Parganas district, allegedly by TMC supporters. A BJP leader had alleged that a woman identified as Saraswati Das (42), an active BJP worker from Amlani gram panchayat in North 24 Parganas district’s Hannibal, was allegedly murdered by Trinamool Congress (TMC) supporters on Thursday evening.

On the last day of May, a BJP worker, Sushil Mondal, was allegedly stabbed by Trinamool cadres for chanting “Jai Shri Ram” in Panduranga village of East Burdwan district’s Ketugram area. Mondal’s wife has alleged that her husband was killed by the TMC workers who had been threatening him and forcing him to stop working for the BJP. She has lodged an FIR against all three suspects.

The law and order situation in the state has deteriorated immensely under Mamata Banerjee with a massive spike in political murders and violent mobs running rampant and attacking medical institutions across the state. Although the Health Crisis appears to have been solved, for now, it appears unlikely that political violence will be resolved by Mamata Banerjee anytime soon.
