Delhi riots not genocide or a pogrom, planned conspiracy by left-jihadi network: Fact-finding report

The Group of Intellectuals and Academicians have reportedly submitted a report to the Ministry of Home Affairs on the recent anti-Hindu riots in national capital. As per reports, the 51-pages long report titled ‘The Shaheen Bagh Model in Northeast Delhi: From Dharna to Danga’, the riots were a preplanned conspiracy.

The report suggests that the riots were a planned conspiracy and that they were preplanned. “There are pieces of evidence of a ‘left-jihadi model of revolution’ which has been executed in Delhi and is sought to be replicated at other places… the Delhi riots are not genocide or a pogrom targeted at any community. They are a tragic outcome of a planned and systematic radicalization of minorities by far left-Urban Naxal network operating in universities in Delhi,” the report states.

The report further states that the riots took place because of radicalisation of Muslims over time. Members of both the communities have suffered greatly in the riots as per the report. It also mentions presence of radical Islamist outfit like PFI at the anti-CAA protest sites which eventually led to violence. In its report, the team observed that the women were used as a shield and that the dharnas were established in areas with concentrated Muslim population. Constant streaming of high-decibel sloganeering led to fear-mongering and anxiety amongst the Muslim population.

The report further states how the riots spread in Bhajanpura, Shiv Vihar, Gokulpuri, Brijpuri, Brahmapuri and surrounding areas where men and women attacked the Delhi Police. Important public places like petrol pumps and high value properties belonging to Hindus were also damaged. The report mentions that the over time the weapons were stockpiled and high-rise buildings were used as launchpad for petrol bombs.

The report further states that the links from across the border and ISIS type brutality in murders points towards planned conspiracy in the riots. The team further recommends handing over the investigation to NIA (National Investigation Agency) and that all incidents from 15th December 2019 onward should be investigated.

The Group of Intellectuals and Academicians (GIA) was formed in 2015 and includes Advocate Monika Arora, Delhi University Assistant Professors Prerna Malhotra (Ram Lal Anand College), Sonali Chitalkar (Miranda House), Shruti Mishra (PG DAV College –Evening) and Divyansha Sharma (Institute of Home Economics) as its members.

Future of India is safe in the hands of PM Modi, Congress failed to fulfil key promises: newly-inducted BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia

Four-time MP and former Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who has resigned from Congress, joined the BJP in presence of party chief JP Nadda on Wednesday.

After joining the BJP in the presence of BJP President JP Nadda and other senior leaders, Scindia speaking to the media said, “In my life, only two dates have always been important. The first is 30th September 2001 when I lost my father. That was a day when my life changed, and with that, the second date is 10th March 2020.”

Jyotiraditya Scindia further added that he had always believed that social service should be our objective. Politics should be a means to fulfil that, nothing more than that, he added.

“I am saddened with the situation in Congress. Congress is no longer the party that it used to be. It rejects reality. In Madhya Pradesh, we had a dream when we formed the government there in 2018. But in 18 months, those dreams have been destroyed,” said the four-time MP Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Attacking the Congress party and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath, Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the Congress government failed to follow through on key promises it made during the 2018 assembly election such as the farm loan waiver, providing unemployment allowance.

He added, “Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has got not once, but twice a mandate like no other. The way PM Modi has worked, I feel that the future of India is safe in the hands of PM Modi. He has worked with a vision. I would like to thank Nadda ji for presenting me with this platform. I am hopeful that I will get an opportunity to serve the people. I am excited to work on the path shown by PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.”

Speaking on the induction of Jyotiraditya Scindia to the party, BJP President JP Nadda welcomed the former Congress minister and said it was a matter of happiness for the BJP. Remembering Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia, Nadda said, “I am remembering Rajmata Scindia ji who played a key role in Jana Sangh and BJP’s foundation. It is a matter of pride that her grandson Jyotiraditya Scindia is joining the BJP. I welcome him to the party.”

“Today is a day of happiness for us that her grandson, Jyotiraditya has joined the BJP. BJP is a very democratic party where every individual has a say and has got his own contribution to developing the party. I am sure he will get the opportunity to participate in the development of the party,” BJP President JP Nadda added.

Jyotiraditya Scindia walked out of Congress along with 22 state legislators, pushing the Congress-led government in Madhya Pradesh on the brink of collapse. Scindia had posted his resignation letter on Twitter minutes after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday morning.

‘Swagat hai Maharaj, Saath hai Shivraj’, former MP chief minister welcomes Jyotiraditya Scindia to BJP

After the formal induction of Jyotiraditya Scindia into the BJP, former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took to Twitter to welcome the former Congress leader into the party.

The veteran BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan took to Twitter to welcome the ‘Maharaj’ (Jyotiraditya Scindia) and to let him know that he is with him. He assured Scindia his continual support. “Swagat hain Maharaj, saath hain Shivraj” (Welcome Maharaj (Scindia), Shivraj is with you), read the BJP leader’s latest Tweet in Hindi.

Moreover, while talking to reporters here after Scindia joined the BJP in presence of party president J P Nadda in Delhi, Chouhan also defended Scindia’s decision to leave the Congress. “The disgruntlement of Maharaj (Scindia) with the Congress is justified,” the BJP leader said.

“This is a joyous day for BJP and me personally. Today, I remember Rajmata Scindia. Jyotiraditya Scindia has become a member of the BJP family. The entire family is with BJP. They have a tradition where politics is a medium to serve people,” Chouhan was quoted as saying by PTI.

Once seen as one of Rahul Gandhi’s closest aides, Jyotiraditya Scindia, ditched the Congress party, leaving its government in Madhya Pradesh in chaos on Tuesday afternoon. His resignation, along with that of 21 MLAs, has left the Kamal Nath government in the state on the brink of collapse. It is currently five MLAs short of the new majority mark of 104.

BJP will be operated upon by surgeons like us if they dare MP-like ‘operation’ in Maharashtra: Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Monday dismissed the possibility of a Madhya Pradesh-like overturn in Maharashtra, saying they are prepared to thwart any attempts made by the BJP to topple the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra.

“BJP tried to form govt in Maharashtra too but failed. No such operation will be successful here. Surgeons like us are sitting here in the operation theatre. If anyone comes to do it, he himself will be operated upon,” Sanjay Raut said to ANI while responding about the current political scenario in Madhya Pradesh.

Building on to his statement to the ANI, Raut posted a tweet in Marathi saying that the MP virus will enter Maharashtra. “Maharashtra’s power is different. One operation flopped 100 days ago. The Maha Vikas Aghadi did a bypass surgery and saved Maharashtra,” the Sena leader said in a tweet in Marathi.

The Congress government in Madhya Pradesh remains in limbo as 23 of its elected MLAs, including strongman Jyotiraditya Scindia, tendered their resignation to the Governor yesterday. The Kamal Nath led Congress government in Madhya Pradesh brought together the different factions within Madhya Pradesh Congress, somehow holding on to the government with a slender majority. However, Scindia’s resignation acted as a catalyst for a raft of other disgruntled MLAs who threw a curve at the Congress party by submitting their resignation.

On the other hand, the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra is surviving on a tenuous alliance between ideologically disparate political parties of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress. The unholy alliance between the three political parties was hatched after the erstwhile BJP-Shiv Sena alliance crumbled following Sena’s unyielding demand of having a rotational chief-ministerial position. Sensing the opportunity to keep the BJP at bay in Maharashtra, Congress and NCP stitched an alliance with Sena and retained key cabinet portfolios while agreeing to install Uddhav Thackeray as the figurehead chief minister of the state. In the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly, the MVA government enjoys the support of over 165 MLAs.

While the alliance had put a curb on Sena’s overt manifestation of Hindutva, it had also cast a dent on Sena’s traditional vote-bank by ‘secularisation’ and transmogrification of the Balasaheb Thackeray’s hardcore Hindutva party into a meek Congress ally. Perhaps, in order to allay this growing concern, CM Uddhav Thackeray recently announced a donation of Rs 1 Crore for the construction of the Ram Temple, along with a ‘Maharashtra Bhawan’ in Ayodhya.

Notwithstanding the glaring fragility of the alliance in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena motormouth Sanjay Raut on Wednesday went on to assert that the Maha Vikas Aghadi is unshakable and any attempts made by the BJP to pull off a Madhya Pradesh-kind of ‘operation’ may instead result in BJP’s own downfall.

44 persons in Iran die of methanol consumption after rumours that alcohol can prevent Coronavirus infection

44 people in Iran died due to consumption of bootleg alcohol due to the rumours that it can cure coronavirus infection. Also, hundreds have been hospitalized after consuming the methanol in an effort to curb the disease, state news agency IRNA reported.

Iran has been badly hit hard by the COVID-19 epidemic spread through its 31 provinces with more than 8000 confirmed cases and 291 deaths till Tuesday.

A false rumour has been spread across the country that drinking alcohol can cure or prevent coronavirus. According to the Health Ministry Official Ali Ehsanpour, the deceased and others who are hospitalized consumed the toxic methanol instead of ethanol. Seven bootleggers have been arrested in connection with the incident.

In Khuzestan, more people have died from alcohol poisoning than overall dead due to coronavirus. More than 30 died due to alcohol and 18 have died due to coronavirus.

The Southwestern province of Khuzestan witnessed the highest poisoning toll when it grew by 16 to reach 36 on Tuesday, the report of news agency IRNS suggested. It stated, “they had drunk bootleg alcohol over rumours that it would be effective in treating coronavirus and were poisoned.”

In the Northern Iranian region Alborz, more than seven people have died from bootleg alcohol and one in western Iran’s Kermanshah.

Despite the ban on alcohol in Iran except for some non-Muslim minorities, the regular reports of lethal cases of poisoning from bootleg liquor circulate in the local media.

“Rajmata would be elated, good to be on the same team” Jyotiraditya Scindia’s aunt Vasundhara Raje welcomes him to BJP

Senior BJP leader Vasundhara Raje welcomed her nephew former Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia to the BJP. Taking to Twitter, she invoked her mother, Rajmata Vijaya Raje, also a former Congress leader who quit the party to join the Jana Sangh.

The ex-Rajasthan CM said that Rajmata (Vijayaraje Scindia), would have been elated to see him put the nation first. “I admire your strength of character and courage. It’s good to be on the same team,” she said. Her late brother, a senior Congress leader himself, Madhavrao Scindia, too, was part of the Jana Sangha before leaving the party to join the Congress. Madhavrao Scindia was killed in an unfortunate plane crash in 2001.

Yesterday, his other aunt and senior BJP leader Yashodhara Raje, too, welcomed Scindia even before he formally joined the BJP and called it ‘Ghar Wapasi’.

Scindia resigned from Congress on 9th March, 2020, Monday along with 20 MP Congress MLAs. This has sent shockwaves through Congress. The MP state government is on the verge of a collapse with the developments.

Andhra Pradesh: YSRCP Hooligans attack BJP Karyakartas on their way to file nominations for upcoming MPTC elections

Tensions prevailed in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh following an attack on BJP Karyakartas allegedly by YSRCP cadres. The BJP activists were on their way to file nomination for the Mandal Parishad elections of Pulicherla Mandal in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh. The filing of the nomination began on February 9 (Monday).

Pulicherla Mandal is one of the 66 Mandals in Chittoor district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

In a video shared by BJP Andhra Pradesh, an injured BJP activist is seen sitting in a car. He is supposedly being taken away after the alleged attack. The car’s windscreen is also seen to be broken.

BJP Andhra Pradesh took to Twitter to share a video in which the injured BJP activist is seen sitting in a moving car. The attack had left him bleeding profusely. The windscreen of the car, he was travelling in, was also broken.

BJP Andhra Pradesh stated: “YCP goons are attacking BJP karyakartas for trying to file nomination. BJP Karyakartas were attacked by YCP Hooligans when they were on the way to file nomination in Pulicherla Mandalam of Chittoor District.”

In December last year, a BJP worker named Prasad Raju in Nagavaram village in Andhra Pradesh had alleged that a group of YSRCP goons had attacked his family in which his aged mother had sustained head injuries. He claimed that he was beaten up by YSRCP workers as he had recently joined BJP. He alleged 20 people were involved in the attack. However, police ruled out any political motive and had termed it a family dispute.

Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP has regularly accused YSR Congress Party of indulging into political violence after coming to power in May. It had in September last year alleged that the cadres of the YSRCP have killed as many as eight of its party workers and have attacked many more.

Tamil Nadu: Evangelist IAS officer caught trying to practise Christian ‘faith-healing’ inside govt hospital, police called

0

An IAS officer in Tamil Nadu named Umashankar, who has been in news for several times because of his evangelical activities at work, had to be rescued by police from the patient ward of the Rajiv Gandhi General Government Hospital in Chennai after the attendants of a patient showed a strong disagreement against his ‘faith healing’ activities.

As per the report of Daily Thanthi, The trouble started when Umashankar and his team went to Ward number 46 and tried to preach Christianity to some patients. The relative of a kidney patient was enraged by this and called in his associates who gathered there and objected to religious activities inside hospital wards. They called the police seeking action against the preaching IAS officer.

After the police intervention, Umashankar allegedly showed his government identity when a sub-inspector asked him why he is forcing the ‘faith-healing’ activities on patients despite their objection.

Reportedly, Umashankar said that it was to comfort the patient and ‘provide solace’. He also claimed that they had got the oral permission to reach out to patients. He said, “As we were comforting, there were a few who rejected it. There were some patients without attendants, whom we comforted. We prayed for them and offered biscuits. But on Sunday, a person created ruckus and called the police to arrest us. I intervened and asked under what provision action can be taken against us. Article 25 of the Constitution grants a fundamental right for a person to freely practice and propagate religion.”

However, hospital dean Dr. R Jayanthi said no kind of religious preaching was allowed inside the hospital and added they have sent circulars regarding this. Dr Jayanthi said, “No such permission was granted to anyone to conduct any religious preaching in the hospital premises.”

Umashankar was previously suspended as a poll observer in Madhya Pradesh after reports of his ‘faith-healing’ activities emerged. He was posed on electoral duty at the Sidhi constituency in the state. The State Election Commission had repeatedly warned him against conducting such activities but Umashankar was determined to do so.

In 2015, the Tamil Nadu government restricted him from preaching and propagating religion over concerns of communal tensions after he was reported to be participating in the ‘anti-homosexuality’ campaign run by ‘Tamil Nadu Christian Progressive Federation’, a quasi-socio-political fundamentalist outfit not much well known outside Kanyakumari district.

The bureaucrat also posts his religious preaching and faith healing videos on a Youtube channel known as DayofLord Jesus.

Watch: Former Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia joins BJP

Two days after quitting Congress, former Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia has joined the BJP.

Scindia joined the BJP in presence of BJP national president JP Nadda.

Scindia had tendered his resignation from primary membership of the grand old party on 9th March, 2020 to interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

On Tuesday, Scindia had reached Prime Minister Modi’s residence along with Home Minister Amit Shah. Following that, he posted his resignation on Twitter. In an unprecedented move, a day after Scindia quit, Congress ‘expelled’ him for anti-party activities.

I am Hindu, and I can’t play victim

When the controversial AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan tweeted about Tahir Hussain being punished because he is Muslim, and that being Muslim is the biggest crime in India, he received more than 21 thousand likes. Amanatullah is not alone, these past few days the ‘Ganga Jamni Tehzeeb’ club members which include leftover (and irrelevant) socialites from the Congress Ecosystem, JNU Junkies, Rana Ayyub and her clones and some publications in India and abroad have been working overtime to express horror over lost Muslim lives.

Yes the Delhi riots were horrible and innocent lives of both Muslims and Hindus were lost, it’s a tragedy we need to learn from because we must co-exist! The great puzzle however is how 20 crore Indian Muslims have the sole privilege to be certified as victims over all other Indian communities even when they face greater sufferings.

Myriad witness accounts and videos have emerged which point fingers at Tahir. Interestingly Tahir Hussain also circulated a video where he is pleading as a defenceless dove, the video was trashed as a poor green screen creation within minutes of its release, yet Amanatullah seems convinced that Tahir is an innocent lamb who is being victimised.

That the victimhood card is a clever and a hugely successful ploy is not the point, it’s those millions of Hindus who have suffered for centuries yet never complained, never played victim, also needs some attention.

For now let’s leave aside the destruction of Hindu institutions, murder and mayhem during the 800 years of bloody invasions to look at some other stories from our recent past conveniently erased from our history books

Just a 100 years ago thousands of Malayalee Hindus were raped, butchered and forcibly converted to Islam under what is sugar coated as the ‘patriotic’ Malabar rebellion against the British who had put a stop to the fantastic Khilafat  (Caliphate) Movement. In spite of leaders like Ambedkar saying “The blood-curdling atrocities committed by the Moplas in Malabar against the Hindus were indescribable”, Annie Bessant asking the Mahatma to go to Malabar and see the horror meted out on Hindus for himself. But since we don’t complain Gandhiji simply refused to believe his brothers could do any wrong.

This may well have been the beginning of our peculiar behaviour where the Hindu’s ‘offered the other cheek’ instead.

Hindu genocide from Portuguese occupied Goa is one more case which no one ever talks about. Goan Hindus who refused to convert had to die or flee for their lives right up till Goa’s Independence in 1960, yet we simply have no sense of this misfortune.

1947 saw the worst kind of human tragedy where lakhs suffered terrible loss of lives, property and more. Both sides of my family migrated from West Punjab now in Pakistan with no more than a shirt on their back. Growing up I only heard cheerful stories of life in Lahore, what I was never told was how they had to live in the Kingsway Camp (refugee camp) in Delhi for nearly 2 years before they found a decent house. None of my aunts and uncles ever discussed the hardships they had to face and never once expressed any hatred for Muslims!

All the Punjabi and Bengali Hindus who fled their beloved homeland to save their lives and honour in 1947, collected shattered pieces of their banished lives and worked through extreme suffering and hardships to prosperity.

One would think India’s independence should’ve put a permanent stop to  all oppression against Hindus. The fact is  we continued to face tyranny in our home land right through the 20thcentury.

Most Indians have no clue of the Tamil Brahmin exodus in the 60s and 70s. They were so traumatised by the bigoted Periyarists, that they had to leave their homeland to cities like Mumbai and Delhi where they could live in peace.

Has anyone ever heard them talk about it? TamBrams as they are affectionately called used the ‘Brahmastra’ (ultimate weapon), that of educating themselves to arrive at the board rooms of fortune 500 companies.

Little over 35 years ago the Sikhs in Delhi were butchered and five years later it was the turn of Kashmiri Pandits. Here again there are no instances of playing the perpetually wounded, anger yes, but no victimhood. Both the Sikhs in Delhi and the Pandits of the Valley had lost their businesses only to resurrect them through grit and hard work.

So what is this phenomena which keeps us from playing victim even after our Gurus were martyred, women raped, children killed and families forcibly converted?

Is it our DNA, shaped over thousands of years of Karma, Dharma and Eternity of Life?

Is it the light of education which shows us the path in adversity? Or is it an overdose of Gandhi quotes?

Are we are too proud to acknowledge failure?, or maybe it is our curriculum which pushed us into a guilt zone or sorts?

Or have the years of oppression have made us so thick skinned that anti-India and anti-Hindu tirades no longer make a difference. They did it then, they are doing it now, we will continue to survive.

The Kashmiri Pandits in the North to Punjabi’s to Bengali’s in the East and Goans in the West to Tamil Brahmins & Malayalee’s in the South never shed a tear, they recreated, they reinvented, they soared even higher! May be this is why the Hindu civilization continues to live and thrive and we never have to  play the victim hood card game!

We will continue to believe in ‘Sarva Dharma Sambhava’ while they chuckle at our naïvete’
