Solution to rising fuel prices likely in a few days : Amit Shah

BJP President Amit Shah has stated that a solution for the rising fuel prices in the country is to be expected soon. According to reports, Shah has stated that the government is working on a formula to bring down the prices of diesel and petrol to reduce the burden on people.

Amit Shah has reportedly stated that the government is looking into the matter seriously and Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is scheduled to meet officials of oil companies today to discuss the issue. He reportedly added that the government is working out a formula and the plan is to be finalised in coming three to four days.

According to reports, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has also stated that various alternatives are being looked into and something will be worked out soon.

Petrol and diesel prices were raised again recently and the government is facing criticism for it. As per the dynamic pricing, Petrol had touched Rs 84.70 in Mumbai and Rs 76.87 in Delhi on Tuesday. International crude prices have risen recently too and it is one of the reasons for the high fuel prices in the country. Diesel is selling at Rs 68.08 a litre in the national capital. In the meanwhile, ANI has quoted the IOCL Chairman as saying yesterday that they are yet to receive any directive from the government regarding controlling the fuel prices. He had also added that all the petroleum products should be brought under GST.

‘Liberal’ parasites explained – With some help from nature

Remember the time Yakub Memon was executed? Did you ever get the feeling that a certain class of editors, journalists, academics and intellectuals seemed to care more for the life of the terrorist than the innocent people who were blown to bits? Do you ever get the feeling that the lives of stone pelters and Maoists and jihadists are valued more in our country than the martyrdom of our soldiers?

Remember how much of the political class had tears in its eyes when Lashkar operative Ishrat Jahan was killed? Or when terrorists were killed in the Batla House encounter? Have you ever noticed that these people heap scorn and ridicule on those who say “Bharat Mata ki Jai,”  but those who say “Bharat Tere Tukde Honge” are invited to lavish thinkfests?

This might have made you wonder: why do these people live in India at all, feeding off our land? These people don’t like Indian soldiers, the Indian nation, the majority Hindu community. These people see greatness in Aurangazeb, but they revile Swami Vivekananda. They hate India so much that they publish source based stories supporting the enemy’s propaganda line on Kulbhushan Jadhav, perhaps because they would gladly see him hanged in a Pakistani prison.

Then why do these people stay Indian?

Let me explain, with the help of a story. It’s from a Youtube video about the natural world from National Geographic. See if you can find any parallels with the fate of Hindus in India. And, by the way, if you have watched any horror movies recently, this is going to top that.

This may appear to you like a perfectly healthy caterpillar. Like, you know, a healthy democracy, with mostly free and fair elections held every five years at each level (with distinguished exceptions for Panchayat polls in some secular states). The caterpillar has eaten a lot of leaves and begun to grow fat. Like India, the fastest growing major economy in the world.

But there is something else going on underneath its skin.

Untitled.png

A parasitic wasp has laid its eggs inside the caterpillar and the larvae have hatched. Every single larva is small, no more than the size of a grain of rice. Each individual larva is no match for the caterpillar. But there are so many of them and they have infected every part of the body of the caterpillar.

The larvae are still growing and need to keep the host alive. They drink the caterpillar’s blood but don’t touch its vital organs…yet. Meanwhile, the larvae have grown sharp teeth to cut through the caterpillar’s thick skin.

Untitled.png

These teeth begin to saw open the body of the caterpillar. Here is the ‘Tukde Tukde moment‘ as the parasites burst into the open.

Untitled.png

The caterpillar, meanwhile, still doesn’t have a clue. Its body is paralyzed and its brain is muddled due to chemicals released by the parasitic wasp larvae.

But the parasites are not yet done with the caterpillar. The poor creature must live on, for the wasp larvae still need it to serve an important purpose.

In fact, once they are outside, the wasp larvae are exposed and at much more risk.

Now the brutal magic trick begins. Remember how the caterpillar is supposed to weave a silk cocoon around itself and go into the pupa stage?

Untitled.png

The caterpillar goes ahead and weaves that cocoon. But, instead of weaving the cocoon around itself, it weaves the protective cocoon around the parasitic wasps.

This happened because the chemicals released by the parasites have hijacked the caterpillar’s brain. Do you now see why the left places such emphasis on the capture of the intelligentsia?

Incredibly, the caterpillar believes that it is protecting itself, rather than its enemy.

Untitled.png

The caterpillar even sits on guard, aggressively warding off all intruders, while the parasitic wasp larvae are safe inside the silken blanket.

Untitled.png

Ultimately, of course, the caterpillar starves to death.

There are many lessons here that we must imbibe in order to avoid becoming like the caterpillar.

The intellectual ecosystem, like the ecosystem in our natural world, is also amoral. The wasps did not have ‘double standards,’ nor did they want to discriminate against the caterpillar. They simply saw a way to thrive by fooling the caterpillar out of existence. If we let our brains be infected, the same could happen to us.

‘Vastu’, not value for ‘people’s money’ keeping Kumaraswamy away from official CM residence, reports

Karnataka Chief Minister designate, H D Kumaraswamy, who swears in today after the high octane political drama that concluded last Saturday, will reportedly not be moving to his official residence since ‘vastu’ consultants have advised him against it.

According to reports, he will now be moving into Chief Secretary’s residence since it is east facing and will help him through the hurdles of the coalition government.

Interestingly, Kumaraswamy had told that he may not move to CM’s official residence because he didn’t want to waste public money.

In August last year, in anticipation of the win and on consultation of his astrologer, Kumaraswamy had got his ‘lucky’ residence at Jayanagar ‘renovated’. He considers the swanky bungalow ‘lucky’ since he moved here in 1999. Earlier, during the run-up to the elections, BJP Karnataka had pointed out instances where former chief minister Siddaramaiah appeared to be a believer of superstition. Ironically, Siddaramaiah was hailed in the intellectual circles for passing the Anti-Superstition bill.

Such conspiracies relating to official residences of elected representatives are not new. Son of Fodder scam convict Lalu Yadav and former minister in Nitish Kumar government, Tej Pratap Yadav had accused Nitish Kumar of letting loose ‘ghosts’ in his house. Tej Pratap, who dropped out of school after failing his 12th board exams, claimed the paranormal conspiracy against him following which he was ‘forced to’ vacate his official residence.

Have a house for rent in Lucknow? Akhilesh Yadav is looking for one

Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav have requested more time to vacate his bungalow as he is looking for a rented house, Financial Express has reported.

Akhilesh Yadav was one of the six former UP Chief Ministers who was served an eviction notice by the Yogi Adityanath led BJP government asking them to vacate their official bungalows within the next 15 days. These notices are in line with a 7 May Supreme Court order which struck down the act which enabled the former Chief Ministers eligible for official accommodation.

Akhilesh as reported, is now seeking two years of time from the Supreme Court to stay in the government bungalow, as “there is no property registered under his name”. He claims that if the Supreme Court doesn’t agree to his request, he would vacate the house, as soon as he finds a rented flat.

Under the property affair, Akhilesh was also quoted as making things melodramatic by claiming that he made a mistake by not building his own house and if granted time, will rectify it.

Even Times of India quoted Akhilesh as claiming that neither he nor his father owns a house in Lucknow.

This claim that he doesn’t have a property registered under his name or that he doesn’t own a house in Lucknow, though doesn’t seem to hold true as going by the election affidavit he filed in 2012 – which is uploaded on myneta.info, he owns a residential building on Vikramaditya Marg in the state capital, which he purchased in 2005 and appears to jointly own it along with his wife:

Have a house for rent in Lucknow? Akhilesh Yadav is looking for one
Akhilesh residential property in Lucknow

Though it remains to be seen whether he has sold the said residential property since then.

Such a ‘drama’ by Akhilesh over the eviction comes after his father Mulayam had tried to save his and his son’s bungalow by requesting CM Yogi to get around the rules and allot those bungalows to SP leaders Ram Govind Chaudhary and Ahmed Hasan.

Another former Chief Minister Mayawati has already found some form of a loophole to retain control of her bungalow, by making it a Kanshi Ram memorial rest house.

Karnataka: Cracks appear in the coalition as the Lingayat card continues to haunt Congress

In a new development in Karnataka, at least two MLAs from Congress have threatened to resign from the party, if the Congress party decides to make M B Patil a minister in the present coalition government.

The MLAs from Indi and Basavana Bagevadi Yeshwanthraygoud V. Patil and Shivanand S. Patil threatened to resign if M.B. Patil was even considered for a Ministerial post. M B Patil, who was earlier a minister in Siddaramaiah government, is believed to be one of the main conspirators of the Lingayath issue. The Congress had taken a decision to give minority status to Lingayat community which was a disaster in terms of electoral politics. They lost almost half of the seats compared to 2013 elections in Lingayat dominated areas.

The decision also led to the loss of three out of four ministers, which seems that it was a move which backfired for Congress. It is clear that Congress party wants to resign this disaster to M B Patil, as he was strongly supporting the minority tag for Lingayats. This is one of the reasons why many Lingayat leaders hold him responsible for the party’s defeat in the recent elections. They have urged the present coalition government to keep him away from the power structure or to face resignations from the party ahead of a trust vote.

There has been intense lobbying from both Congress and JDS for ministerial berths in the present government. Congress party is demanding two Deputy CM posts and reports suggest that JDS is not ready for that. D K Shivakumar, one of the most powerful leaders of Karnataka Congress is also lobbying for the post, but the JDS is not keen on that. Amidst this confusion, a Muslim faction had also demanded the post to be given to that community. As there are considerable MLAs from the Lingayath community, they too have demanded the Deputy Chief Minister post for the community.

The elections to 222 seats of the legislative assembly in Karnataka went to elections on May 12th. BJP emerged as a single largest party with 104 seats, while the Congress and JDS emerged winners in 78 and 38 seats respectively. The Congress-JDS coalition is headed by H D Kumaraswamy of JDS and the Deputy CM and speaker posts to be given to Congress. There are inherent contradictions in the alliance as the two parties had bitterly campaigned against each other in the recent elections. It is to be seen that whether this ‘opportunistic alliance’ will complete its term or break amidst of their infighting.

Lashkar-e-Taiba is using Burhan Wani to radicalize youth, says captured terrorist

0

According to a news report, a 20-year-old captured LeT operative, Zaibullah alias Hamza revealed that LeT’s (Lashkar- e- Taiba) student cell – Al Muhammadia Students (AMS) has developed a handset meant exclusively for communication between LeT operatives. Zaibullah stated this to the National Investigation Agency during his interrogation.

Zaibullah furthered that upon entering a particular chip into the handset, it automatically connects to the nearest mobile tower, irrespective of the service provider and calls made from this handset cannot be traced by Indian intelligence services. If the agencies try to intercept the calls then, the call will automatically terminate. Zaibullah was caught from Jugdiyal Area in Kupwara on April 7th.

The captured terrorist also revealed that Lashkar-e-Taiba has recruited approximately 450 boys aged between 15-25 years who are being trained by LeT in Pakistan for anti-India activities. These boys are being radicalized in the name of Burhan Wani, Zaibullah added.

Son of a Pakistani Income tax officer, Zaibullah crossed the border to the Indian side on March 2-3 along with five others. All five were neutralized by the Indian Army in a counter-insurgency operation on March 20. Zaibullah sustained a bullet injury to the head that day but managed to escape but was caught 15 days later.

Lashkar and its parent organization Jammat-ud-Dawa (JuD) run an ‘’underground’’ training camp in Maskar Khaibar area in Muzaffarabad forest Area in PoK ‘’exclusively for training the fidayeens (Suicide squads)”. In all, a total of seven camps were named by Zaibullah to the agency, –

  1. Aksa Maskar in Muzaffarabad  (for weapons training, GPS, Surviving training).
  2. Dakhan in Mujaffarabad (for mountain climbing training).
  3. Khalid bin Valeed in Muzaffarabad main city (HQ of LeT, all the supplies to the camps goes from here).
  4. Tabuk in Mansera (meant for basic physical training).
  5. Karachi Food Centre (for supplying food to the launch pads).
  6. Daura-ul-Rizwan in Muridke (for combat and climbing training).
  7. Masha Khaibar (underground training camp exclusively for suicide squads).

Zaibullah who was undergoing training in Dakhan in January 2017 claimed that 26/11 accused Zaki-ul-Rahman Lakhvi and LeT chief Hafiz Saeed stayed with them and motivated them to commit their lives to Jihad. Lakhvi met him in Dakhan while Saeed met the terrorist in Muzaffarabad. His father, the income tax officer was quite excited about the idea of his son becoming a Jihadi and during his training period, His father contributed to the “Jihad Fund” to the tune of Rs 1,000 per month.

Yogi Adityanath government approves introduction of NCERT books in Madarsas

The Uttar Pradesh cabinet has approved the introduction of NCERT books in Madarsas. According to reports, a state cabinet led by CM Yogi Adityanath has approved the introduction and the books will now be available in Hindi, English and Urdu for the students studying in Madarsas.

According to reports, subjects like science, mathematics and computers will now be introduced in the Madarsas curriculum.

A report in News18.com stated that the Arbi-Farsi-Urdu Madarsa Board, in its May 15 meeting had suggested that all Madarsas should teach English and Hindi along with Urdu. The government spokesperson reportedly stated that the cabinet has approved the suggestion of the board. The new NCERT books will enable the students of Madarsas to learn Mathematics, science and computers besides their usual religious courses.

It is notable here that The National Council of Education Research and Training is the national level publisher of school books and the books are used by CBSE board schools. Many competitive examinations like the JEE and NEET also follow the NCERT syllabus.

The UP government had, last year proposed the introduction of NCERT books to the Madarsa board with an objective of bringing the students of Madarsa at par with mainstream educational standards. The UP government had enacted a 40 member committee with members from NCERT, Aligarh Muslim University, Lucknow University, principals of secondary and higher secondary schools and even research scholars from the Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Urdu Arbi and Farsi university to discuss the introduction of non-language subjects based on NCERT curriculum.

The move is aimed at modernising the education in Madarsas. The UP government had also launched a Madarsa portal to provide transparency in employment, infrastructure and educational details of the several hundred madarsas operating in the state.

Amnesty confirms massacre of Hindus by Rohingya terrorists after Indian ‘liberals’ had tried to give clean chit to the Islamic rebels

Amnesty International, the Indian arm of which has had quite a few run-ins with the law, has finally confirmed the massacre of the Hindus by Rohingya Muslims even as Indian ‘liberals’ tried to whitewash their crimes. As per the reports, an investigation carried out by Amnesty has revealed that an armed Rohingya group is responsible for at least one, and potentially a second, massacre of up to 99 Hindu men, women and children as well as unlawful abductions in August 2017.

Amnesty has based its report on dozens of interviews conducted in Rakhine and across the border in Bangladesh and throws light on the largely under-reported human rights abuses by the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) fighters, who have sowed fear among Hindus and other ethnic communities with these brutal attacks. The report gives details of the massacre in Kha Maung Seik in August 2017, killing Hindus, executing style, sparing those who agreed to ‘convert’ to Islam. The report also states other killings and violent attacks against the other ethnic and minority communities by the Rohingya terrorists.

The report says, “Eight Hindu women and eight of their children were abducted and spared after ARSA fighters forced the women to agree to “convert” to Islam. The survivors were forced to flee with the fighters to Bangladesh several days later, before being repatriated to Myanmar in October 2017 with the support of the Bangladeshi and Myanmar authorities”.

While the brutal massacre of Hindus has been confirmed, lyricist Javed Akhtar, too, was caught absolving the Rohingyas in the mass grave matter. In September 2017, a mass grave of 28 Hindus was found in the Rakhine state. At a time when everyone was shocked at the genocide of Hindus, Javed Akhtar had taken to Twitter to absolve the Rohingya terrorists and blame the “Army” for the killing thereby absolving the Rohingya Muslims of the genocide of Hindus.

Many others had also absolved the terrorists of the genocide saying that it might be “state propaganda” in order to demonise the Rohingyas even though the Myanmar government had earlier shared stories of horror inflicted by Rohingya terrorists on Hindus of the kin whose bodies were found in mass graves in the conflicted Rakhine state.

Many have tried to paint the Rohingyas as the most persecuted minorities in the world at the hands of the Buddhists. However, as evidence emerges, the facts point towards a different direction. In India, the Rohingyas have posed a grave security threat as confirmed by the intelligence.

India’s first major taste of the Rohingya crisis came, rather absurdly, on 12th August 2012 at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. A large crowd of Muslims assembled at the venue to protest against the Assam Riots and the Rakhine Riots in Myanmar, which were a confrontation between the Buddhists and Rohingya Muslims. The crowds soon turned violent which led to them vandalizing public property, molesting women cops, desecrating the Amar Jyoti Javan Memorial. The riots led to the death of two people.

The string of crimes hasn’t stopped since then. There was also news that the Rohingyas are being radicalised by LeT. Only recently, 2 Rohingyas were arrested in Manipur for their involvement in human trafficking.

Even after being proven a grave security threat, ‘prominent’ personalities in India have been batting for Rohingyas and even wrote to Prime Minister Modi to not deport the illegal Rohingya immigrants in India.

Notable among these ‘prominent’ personalities were Prashant Bhushan, the Supreme Court lawyer who has earlier blamed ‘Hindutva’ for crimes by Muslims, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, who is charged with ‘abetment to suicide’ in his wife Sunanda Pushkar’s mysterious death, scam-ridden former union minister P Chidambaram and other usual suspects like Sagarika Ghose, Yogendra Yadav and John Dayal. Amnesty is a global movement which promotes and defends human rights and dignity, whose India head happens to be controversial writer Aakar Patel, who himself is known for making bigoted casteist statements.

Archbishop Anil Couto: I have to talk about elections, elections concern us

After initial attempts by the Church functionaries to play dumb, the cat now is finally out of the bag. Yesterday a letter surfaced which was written by the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Delhi, Anil Couto, to the Catholics in India. While the letter was titled “Prayer for our nation”, the body mentioned that they looked forward towards 2019 when a “new Government ” would come to power.

In recent times, the Church has been very active in Indian politics. Before the Gujrat elections, the Gandhinagar Archbishop sent a similar communique which urged the Christians to save the country from ‘nationalistic forces’. Before the Nagaland Assembly elections, the Nagaland Baptist Church Council had also urged the believers to choose between ‘Trishul and the Cross.’ Before the Goa elections, a Catholic magazine asked the voters in the state not to vote for the BJP and claimed that the country is facing a ‘constitutional holocaust’.

While some functionaries of the church tried to claim that this was a “routine letter”, Archbishop Couto while speaking to ANI stated that he has to talk about elections:

“Yes I have to talk, what else will I talk? 2022 elections or something like that? Elections concern us and therefore when we talk we have to talk about the elections. Because the Government concerns us”

He further added that they have to pray for a Government which cares for “freedom of the people, rights of the Christian community, the welfare of the Christian community”

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g96v8zi3oEo]

With this statement, the Archbishop has made it clear that it is the Church’s intention that the next Government should be one which favours their community’s rights and welfare.

By saying so, is the Archbishop in violation of the Supreme Court ruling of 2017? The Supreme Court had laid down its verdict which tried to separate religion from electoral politics. It had said that either the candidate, or anyone on his behalf, should not demand votes based on religion, and this would be termed as a “corrupt practice”.

The Archbishop’s statement comes just days after a Goa AAP leader had admitted that the Church in Goa had for decades interfered with the politics of the state, by using sermons to favour certain candidates. He had also urged the Church to now come out in the open and overtly back candidates.

Home Minister announces new anti-Naxal combat force to tackle left wing terrorism in Chattisgarh

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh annouced that Chattisgarh will get a specialized unit to tackle Maoist insurgency in the state. Rajnath Singh in the past has been very vocal about neutralizing the threat of Naxalism in this country. On Monday, Singh reiterated the same while addressing media persons after chairing a meeting on left-wing extremism (LWE). The Chief Minister of Chattisgarh, Raman Singh, was also present at the meeting held at Mantralay, Naya Raipur.

‘Black Panther’ will be a specialized anti-Naxal combat force on the lines of existing units like ‘Greyhound unit’. The Greyhounds are a special task force in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh who specializes in anti-insurgency operations against Naxals and Maoists.

He also commented on the need to cut down their economical prowess by substantially dismantling their funding network. “We have information that they have made assets to the tune of crores. It also cannot be ruled out that their money is stashed abroad,” he said.

He stated that the government is leaving no stone unturned to choke the flow of resources to the insurgents, including identifying and seizing illegally amassed property. Commenting on the deployment and effectivity of security forces in the state for the past few months, he said, “The security forces are penetrating inside Maoist affected zones in Bastar and the vacuums are being filled up. In past seven months, 16 security forces camps of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Chhattisgarh Armed Forces (CAF) have been set up,”

Singh also mentioned the eco-system that allows them to maintain their ranks. He claimed that many children of Maoist leaders are enrolled in ‘big schools and universities’ and the government is keeping a tab on them as well.

The incumbent government has been persistent in their quest to erase leftist-insurgency from India. This announcement comes after instances of security forces neutralizing insurgents and getting an upper hand over the extremists. This induction of Black Panther will surely have a positive impact on eradicating leftist insurgencies in Chattisgarh.
