Amid the murder of Atiq and Ashraf, memers can’t stop thinking about what was the ‘main baat’ about Guddu Muslim that Ashraf Ahmed could not say

On April 15, gangster-turned-politician with over 100 cases against him was killed by three assailants. His brother Ashraf Ahmed was also killed in the attack in front of the Motilal Nehru Medical college in Prayagraj. When they were shot dead by a tsunami of bullets, they were talking about one of their associates who were on the run Guddu Muslim. Ashraf was saying “Main baat yeh hai ki Guddu Muslim,” but before he could finish the sentence as his brother was shot in the head from point-blank range by one of the killers.

Since the incident, while police are investigating the matter and the whole of Uttar Pradesh is under high alert, the meme makers are facing a different problem altogether. They are unable to think about anything other than the “main baat” Ashraf was about to say about Guddu Muslim who was reportedly arrested on April 16.

Rahul Roushan was worried that the secret died with Ashraf. He posted a GIF that read “That secret went with him”.

Twitter User Zeroism also posted a similar image.

As Twitter user The Skin Doctor could not think of what Ashraf was about to say, he sought help from his followers. He wrote, “Complete the following sentence: Main baat ye hai ki Guddu Muslim…” with the hope to get some clarity on possibilities. His followers did not disappoint.

Twitter user Vishal Maheshwari added, “was a cheat. He escaped and my son got killed”.

Amruta said, “he did everything. I was MLA. I am innocent”.

Shweta added an image that read, “seems to be an impressionist”.

Similarly, many other Twitter users displayed their creativity over the matter.

While memers are enjoying the moment, the toolkit gang is out to defame Hindus over the murder.

Ashraf Ahmed’s last words were ‘Guddu Muslim’, has he been arrested? Here is what Maharashtra Police said

Several media reports said that Guddu Muslim alias Bambaz Guddu, an accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, has been arrested from Nashik in Maharashtra. The arrest took place on Sunday, April 16 as per reports.

However, Maharashtra Police has now cleared confusion. It was being told in media reports that Uttar Pradesh STF had gone to Nashik in Maharashtra in search of Guddu Muslim. According to the report, the UP Police had received information about Guddu Muslim hiding in Nashik. After reaching there, the UP STF arrested Guddu Muslim. Many media houses have also ran the same report.

Now the police of Maharashtra has clarified the situation regarding this matter. According to the local police, the person who was being claimed in the media report is a waiter in a hotel and not Guddu Muslim. On the question of who was interrogated in the hotel, the Nashik police said that it was not Guddu Muslim, but some waiter in the hotel.

Guddu Muslim is a member of the Atiq Ahmed gang that killed Umesh Pal on 24th February 2023. Guddu was seen attacking with a bomb in the CCTV footage of Umesh Pal’s murder. Guddu Muslim carried a reward of Rs. 5 lakhs on his head.

It is believed that Guddu has changed his location several times since Umesh Pal’s murder. He traveled to West Bengal, Bihar, Gujarat as well as Delhi, and the STF was continuously following him. Finally, Guddu Muslim was cornered in Nashik. Guddu worked as a property dealer and was an active member of the gang operated by the deceased mafia don Atiq Ahmed. Guddu was one of the five key accused involved in the February 24 shootout incident in Prayagraj’s Dhumanganj in which Umesh Pal was killed. He was also captured in the CCTV footage hurling bombs.

It is notable that mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed were killed in a shootout at the government hospital in Prayagraj while both of them were being taken for a medical test. Three shooters posing as media persons attacked and killed them.

As the incident was captured on live cameras, the video of the shootout went viral. In the video, it is seen that Atiq Ahmed was being asked about this same Guddu Muslim. The last sentence Atiq Ahmed uttered and left incomplete as he was shot was about his accomplice arrested from Maharashtra. He said, “Main thing is that Guddu Muslim…” and he was shot in the head.

Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad Ahmed was also involved in Umesh Pal’s murder. He was killed in an encounter on 13th April 2023. Umesh Pal was a witness in the Raju Pal murder case of 2005. Raju Pal was a BSP MLA who was murdered by Atiq Ahmed’s henchmen. Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed, both were in jail in connection with many other cases, including Raju Pal’s murder. They had also confessed that they had planned the Umesh Pal murder.

Note: Earlier report mentioned Guddu Muslim was arrested, but there has been no official confirmation regarding the same. Hence, report is updated as per latest information.

Communists to burn effigy of Yogi Adityanath at JNU in support and memory of gangster Atiq Ahmed

The left-liberal ecosystem has been activated to attack the Yogi Adityanath-led government in Uttar Pradesh following the murder of mafia brothers Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed on Saturday in Prayagraj. After it was reported that the usual players have been insinuating that Atiq and Ashraf Ahmed were killed in order to divert attention from Satyapal Malik’s interview, it has come to notice that the left-wing student body All India Students’ Association (AISA) is set to peddle the narrative of Islamophobia and burn the effigy of Yogi government and Uttar Pradesh Police.

A poster purportedly issued by the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation—AISA alleges that the killing of the mafia brother on Saturday night was “state-sponsored”.

Moreover, the poster reads that earlier under the custody of UP police, Atiq Ahmed’s son was killed and now Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf have been killed by “Jai Shri Ram” chanting goons in the presence of UP Police. The AISA poster asserted that there is some sort of ‘nexus’ of goons and UP Police aimed at unleashing “blatant Islamophobic Hindutva politics in UP.”

The poster then calls upon them to “join the effigy burning of Yogi’s BJP government and UP Police.”

Furthermore, the date and timings of the effigy burning event are mentioned as 5 PM on April 16 2023 at Sabarmati Dhaba. There is also a hashtag #NoToIslamophobia mentioned in the poster.

On April 15, the gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed was gunned down by three assailants in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Atiq and his brother Ashraf were brought to the hospital by the police for a medical check-up when the incident took place. The assassins were identified as Lavlesh Tiwari, Arun Maurya, and Sunny. All three assassins were immediately arrested by the police.  Earlier on April 13, Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad Ahmed was neutralized in an encounter with the UP Police STF in Jhansi.

There seems to be more than what meets the eye in the Atiq Ahmed killing case: Here is what police are indicating

On April 15, the notorious gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed was gunned down by three assailants in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Atiq and his brother Ashraf were brought to the hospital by the police for a medical check-up when the incident took place. Soon after the incident, there were several speculations, some crediting Yogi Adityanath for showing how law and order is restored in a state dealing with an entrenched Mafia, some blaming Yogi Adityanath for turning Uttar Pradesh into a police state and others, speculating that there seems to more to the story.

What made matters far more interesting, is that videos that surfaced on Social Media showed the assailants surrendering after chanting “Jai Shree Ram”. As usual, leftists and Islamists proceeded to talk about how a “former MP” and his brother were murdered by “Hindu Nationalists”. They, of course, did not mention that the “former MP” they were sympathising with had over 100 FIRs against him and was a notorious gangster responsible for several murders, cases of extortion, and more.

While the Left and Islamists peddled their usual tropes, supporters of Yogi Adityanath asserted that when dealing with gangsters like Atiq Ahmed, there was seldom another way to rid the state of the malaise. They pointed out that 10 Judges had recused themselves from presiding over cases involving Atiq Ahmed because of the fear his name invokes and when the judiciary fails, and the system has been subverted by the Mafia, few other options remain.

However, after the initial inquiry, there certainly seems to be more than meets the eye. According to media reports, the 3 assailants, identified as Lavlesh Tiwari, Arun Maurya, and Sunny, were small-time criminals who wanted to carve their name in the crime world and become “big”.

“Atiq Ahmed use to kill for grabbing land and would not spare those who testified against him. His brother Ashraf was also involved. So, we killed both of them”, they were quoted as saying. The trio also told the police that they killed Atiq Ahmed and his brother over their ties with Pakistan.

The Chief Minister instituted a 3-member Judiciary commission to be set up to probe the killing of Atiq Ahmed and his brother, 17 police officials were suspended and Section 144 was imposed in all districts of Uttar Pradesh.

While Yogi Adityanath is known for his muscular approach to dealing with criminals and mafia syndicates, a lot about the killing of Atiq Ahmed did not particularly make a lot of sense and several questions have emerged ever since.

Speaking to OpIndia, 3 highly placed police officials expressed similar sentiments. They said, “Atiq Ahmed was being interrogated and revealing many things. Only days ago, he had revealed his connection to ISI and Pakistan. It is a known fact in Allahabad that Atiq Ahmed had deep links with several politicians. The mafia in Uttar Pradesh basically starts with Atiq and ends with Atiq and after the encounter of his son, he was revealing everything because he was scared of his own fate. Why would the state want to finish its biggest asset in this case given that our instruction was to ensure we get him to talk so we can finish the mafia raj in Uttar Pradesh from its roots”.

It is pertinent to note that the Uttar Pradesh Police had made several revelations about the connection of Atiq Ahmed and his mafia syndicate. It was revealed that they had connections with the underworld and that Dawood Ibrahim’s network was used to deliver weapons to Atiq Ahmed.

According to reports, Atiq Ahmed came in contact with the D-Company through former Mau MLA and mafia Mukhtar Ansari who was, last year, convicted and sentenced to 10 years in jail in the 1996 gangster case. Atiq Ahmed reportedly admitted during questioning that gangster Mukhtar Ansari had assisted him in getting in touch with the D gang.

Atiq and his brother Ashraf got along well with Abu Salem, a don for D Gang. After the Umesh Pal murder case, Asad, who was running from one city to another, was asked to come to Pune and then to Nashik by Abu Salem’s aides. A former MP is also alleged to have assisted in keeping Asad and the shooter Ghulam hidden in Pune, in addition to Abu Salem.

Additionally, Atiq reportedly admitted during interrogation that Dawood’s aide Abu Salem’s henchmen provided shelter and money to his son Asad Ahmed and gunman Mohammad Ghulam, who was killed in a police encounter at Jhansi.

With such revelations coming to the fore and the fact that Atiq was not only a former SP politician but also links to several politicians who were working actively to aid and strengthen his crime syndicate, police sources said that Atiq was a great asset to the police to ensure that several other culprits were also nabbed.

With the killing of Atiq, the UP police lost the opportunity to interrogate him further and ensure the Mafia Raj comes to an end, therefore, it would essentially seem unlikely that the State was, in any way, involved in the killing of Atiq.

Multiple police sources also indicated that the murder of Atiq and his brother had the footprints of a conspiracy.

“Who benefits from Atiq Ahmed being dead? Not the police or the state because he was our source to ensure other culprits were caught and the crime syndicate busted forever. So who would want him silenced? Politicians who he could potentially name? The underworld whose links were being revealed by him? Who would benefit from Atiq being silenced forever? Certainly not us”, a police officer close to the investigation said.

Another said, “The way he shouted Jai Shree Ram seems like a plant. We are investigating every possible angle. But we have seen this pattern multiple times in the past. Even Kasab wore a Kalava to mislead the probe against the Pakistani terror attack in Mumbai. They shouted Jai Shree Ram thinking that they won’t be shot if they chant that slogan. Also, we suspect that they chanted Ram’s name so that the narrative in the media and the public would go in a direction which is completely opposite to the truth. We did not want him silenced. We wanted Atiq to sing. We are probing who hatched this conspiracy and how”.

Interestingly, after what appears to be a conspiracy to ensure important names don’t emerge through the Atiq Ahmed probe, the Left and Islamist ecosystem is already working overtime to not only blame Hindus but also create violence and communalism after the incident.

ASIA, a far-left “student organisation” associated with the Communist Party of India Liberation has already called the killing “Islamophobic” and decided to burn the effigy of CM Yogi Adityanath to protest against it.

Apart from AISA, the usual suspects like Rana Ayyub and others who identify themselves as “Muslim journalists” are busy whitewashing the crimes of Atiq Ahmed to inject a communal twist to the case, by claiming that he was but an innocent former MP who has been “killed by the state” because he was a Muslims.

Amid the usual cacophony, the Uttar Pradesh Police is trying hard to unravel the mystery behind who killed Atiq Ahmed and his brother, hindering the probe being carried out by them.

Uganda citizen informs EAM Dr Jaishankar he is thankful to the Indian man who taught him how to eat khaini

On 11th April 2023, Mac Agaba – a citizen of Uganda – messaged India’s external affairs minister, Dr. S Jaishankar, that he is thankful to his Indian friend who taught him how to eat khaini (tobacco mixture). He expressed his gratitude towards his Indian friend in a response he gave to Dr. S Jaishankar in a tweet.

In fact, Dr S Jaishankar was on a tour to the African country at the time, and during his visit he tweeted, “Participated in the virtual groundbreaking ceremony of solar powered piped drinking water supply systems funded by India Exim Bank in Uganda. This project will provide a safe and sustainable water supply to half a million Ugandans across 20 rural districts.”

In response to this tweet by the Indian External Affairs Minister, Mac Agaba tweeted, “I worked with this Indian guy for 3 months. He taught me how to eat tobacco mixture with white-coloured flour-like things (ssuna) It was damn cool. He was like a brother to me.” The Uganada citizen also attached a photograph of him with his Indian friend.

One Ashutosh Kumar Dixit replied to Mac Agaba, “Please don’t continue to eat it, it causes cancer and heart attack.” Mac Agaba wrote in response, “Its not available in Uganda. Sadly.”

It is notable that the thing Mac Agaba referred to as ‘ssuna’ is actually Chuna which means lime. In India, usually, tobacco or any tobacco-based mixture is prepared using Chuna. It is basically taken in almost ‘one to twenty’ proportion in a pinch of tobacco or khaini and rubbed together with the palm and fingers by the consumers. This action achieves two things. One is cleaning the tobacco or khaini and the other is enhancing the taste. In many parts of India, it is mixed with Kattha, supari, pudina, hara patta (green leaf), clove, and other chewable stuff, packed in a small plastic pouch, and rubbed against a rough surface in order to mix it all together very well.

However, consuming tobacco with lime is the most common practice among tobacco consumers in India and easy to adopt than the other mixtures. Tobacco is consumed by many people across various socio-economic strata in the country and now it has emerged that a citizen from Uganda liked this method of consuming tobacco so much that he expressed his gratitude towards his Indian friend in a tweet response to India’s external affairs minister Dr S Jaishankar.

*Tobacco consumption is injurious to health and OpIndia does not recommend its consumption and other additives in any form whatsoever.

Atiq Ahmed murder: ‘Abdul, Kusum or fake number plate’, speculations rise over the motorcycle used by assailants

0

On April 15, notorious gangster Atiq Ahmed and his brother were killed by three assailants who came on bikes in the guise of news reporters. As per reports, the motorcycle they came on had the registration number UP70-M7337. After this information was revealed, many people on social media started to claim that the motorcycle is owned by a man named Abdul. However, some people are claiming that the bike is actually registered under the name of Kurum Devi.

A report by Amar Ujala says that the assailants came on an old Hero Honda CD100SS with the registration number UP70-M7337. It states that the bike is registered in the name of Sardar Abdul Mannan Khan, and it was purchased on 3rd July 1998 with cash. However, creating confusion, some media reports are claiming that the assailants came on a Pulsar motorcycle.

When OpIndia checked the details of the registration number on RTO’s mobile app, it showed that the bike was registered in the name of one Sardar Abdul Mannan Khan. Moreover, the portal says that the vehicle registered with this number is a CD100SS. Therefore, it can be assumed that the Amar Ujala report is correct.

ABP News and some others claimed that the assailants came on a Pulsar bike with the registration number UP70-M7337. But this number belongs to a CD100SS, the first motorcycle model of Hero Honda. Therefore, it can be concluded that the media reports got the registration number and the vehicle model mixed up. There is a possibility is that a Pulsar motorcycle was present at the spot, and it was mistaken to be the bike of the assailants. Police are yet to confirm the details.

However, the confusion does not end there, a different registration number of a motorcycle is also being circulated. CNN News18 reporter Aman Sharma shared an image of the bike that had the registration number UP73-K2559. This vehicle was lying on the ground, with a video camera and a microphone allegedly carried by the killers to pose as journalists.

When we checked the number on the RTO app, it showed the registration was in the name of one Kusum Devi and the bike was Passion Pro. Notably, Aman Sharma did not say it was the same bike that was used by the assailants. The police were yet to release any statement on the bike number.

Source: RTO App

From the visuals of the scene, it can be seen that the motorcycle lying on the ground, with the registration number UP73-K2559, is actually a Passon Pro. On the other hand, a CD100 motorcycle can be seen on its side stand near it, however, its number plate is not visible in the visuals.

Therefore, it can be presumed that numbers of both the motorcycles, one Hero Honda CD100SS and one Hero Passion Pro, were used by the media to claim to be the vehicle of the assailants. However, none of that is a Bajaj Pulsar, opposed to some claiming that they came on a Pulsar.

Interestingly, a Pulsar 150 motorcycle is indeed seen at the spot, standing on the other side of the fallen Passion Pro. The registration number of the Pulsar is UP70AK3068, and it is registered in the name of Rakesh Gaur.

Therefore, it can be concluded that one of the three bikes was used by the assailants, and the other two just happened to be present there. Or even all three vehicles may not have any connection with the killers. To repeat, the three vehicles are registered in the names of Sardar Abdul Mannan Khan (CD100SS), Kusum Devi (Passion Pro) and Rakesh Gaur (Pulsar 150).

Assailants identification revealed

The three assailants who killed Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed in cold blood have been identified as Lovelesh Tiwari, Arun Maurya, and Sunny Singh. None of the shooters were from Prayagraj and hailed from different cities. Tiwari was from Banda, Maurya was from Kasganj and Singh was from Hamirpur. Yagya Tiwari, father of Lovelesh told Business Today that he was a drug addict and the family had no information about him.

Pintu Singh, the brother of Sunny Singh said there were several cases registered against Sunny and he was unemployed. The assailants were reportedly living at a hotel for over 48 hours before the incident. The investigation into the matter is underway. Soon after the incident, Section 144 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) was imposed across 75 districts in the state to maintain law and order.

Centre mulls SOPs for safety, security of journalists after Atiq, Ashraf shot dead in Prayagraj

Taking cognisance of the killing of gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj last night, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has decided to prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the safety and security of journalists, top sources said on Sunday.

The step is being taken after three assailants posing as journalists killed Atiq and Ashraf in Prayagraj, the source pointed out, adding the decision has been taken under the guidance of Home Minister Amit Shah and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Atiq and Ashraf were shot dead in Prayagraj in full media glare on Saturday night.

Uttar Pradesh Police on Sunday said the assailants of the jailed gangster and his brother posed as journalists at the scene of the crime.

“The shooters were posing as journalists. As Atiq reached for a check-up, they were surrounded by other journalists and got close to Atiq and his brother. One was having a camera and was posing as a cameraman. Another was roaming around with a mike on which were inscribed the words NCR News. The third was assisting both,” a police source said.

“As Atiq reached the hospital, reporters started questioning them after 2 lines, one guy fired on his head from very close and Atiq fell down. Another two guys also threw the camera and mike and started firing,” the source added.

Atiq Ahmed was accused in the 2005 BSP MLA Raju Pal murder case and also in the Umesh Pal murder case in February this year.

The shooting that occurred around 10 pm and was caught on camera as media persons were following the handcuffed duo, who were being taken to the hospital by police for a medical checkup.

Kapil Sibal has a ‘headmaster’s son’ moment, here is how he tried to whitewash Asad, who killed Umesh Pal in broad daylight

0

Days after Asad Ahmed was killed in a police encounter, former Congress leader Kapil Sibal came out in defence of the son of gangster-politician Atiq Ahmed.

While speaking to ANI, Sibal tried to downplay the threat posed by Asad Ahmed to the police. “A young boy (Asad) whose age is 19, how can he threaten the security of the country?” Kabil Sibal inquired.

“If you want to catch him, then hit him on his leg or prosecute him. Why do you want to kill him?” he added. Sibal further expressed hope that the Supreme Court would take suo motu cognisance of the matter.

“The administration must be brought to task if they do not follow the law, as strictly set out by the Supreme Court,” he had stated. Although the ex-Congress leader suggested that Asad Ahmed was just ‘another 19-year-old’ boy, nothing could be further from the truth.

Kapil Sibal and the Headmaster’s son moment

Firstly, Asad Ahmed was the main accused in the murder of lawyer Umesh Pal, who was gunned down in broad daylight on February 24 this year. He was carrying a bounty of ₹5 lakhs on his head.

Secondly, SDPO Prashant Kumar had informed that Asad Ahmed was planning to break his father Atiq Ahmed out of police custody. He was planning to attack the police convoy transferring his father. Asad wanted to execute his plans when Atiq Ahmed was being brought to UP for court hearings.

When the Special Task Force of the UP Police went to nab him, Asad Ahmed fired shots at them. The cops had to resort to retaliatory firing during which the 19-year-old was neutralised.

Despite being well aware of the facts, Kapil Sibal sought to ignore them, lament the death of Asad Ahmed and insinuate that the deceased was not a security threat. This reminded netizens of a ruse once employed by ‘journalist’ Barkha Dutt to whitewash the sins of terrorist Burhan Wani.

Screengrab of the contentious tweet by Barkha Dutt

“Breaking: Burhan Wani hizbul commander, son of school headmaster who used social media as weapon of war, killed in Anantnag. BIG STORY,” she had tried to garner sympathy for the terrorist after he was neutralised by Indian security forces.

The same playbook to portray a criminal as innocent, is in play again, this time, by Kapil Sibal.

65-year-old Safdar Ali mauled to death by dogs on AMU campus, video viral

On Sunday, April 16, a heart-wrenching video surfaced on social media wherein a man was mauled to death by stray dogs inside the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) campus in the Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh.

The deceased victim has been identified as a 65-year-old doctor Safdar Ali who came for a walk at the park at around 6:00-6:30 am in the morning when some stray dogs started barking at Ali and attacked him.

Meanwhile, the City Superintendent of Police, Kuldeep Kumavat, in a video byte tweeted by Aligarh Police informed that the police received information that a dead body has been found on the AMU campus at around 7:30 AM today. Soon after, the police field unit along with a dog squad arrived at the spot. He added that Safdar Ali was a resident of the Civil Lines police station precinct.

The City SP also added that upon analyzing the CCTV footage of the incident it was found that a group of dogs attacked the victim while he was roaming around, following the attack the victim fell on the ground and possibly died due to the continuous attack by the dogs. However, the victim’s body has been sent for postmortem to ascertain the cause of his death.

“I will be killed in an encounter either by police or by my fellow criminals,” how Atiq Ahmed’s prophetic words came back to haunt him after 19 years

0

On Saturday, April 15, Atiq Ahmed, the infamous Uttar Pradesh gangster with at least 100 criminal charges on him, and his brother Ashraf Ahmed were shot dead in front of the camera while they were on their way for a medical examination in Prayagraj.

Following his murder, a nineteen-year-old statement made by the mafia don surfaced in the media, in which he predicted that he would not die in the usual manner, either the police would run into him or he would be murdered. “Encounter hoga. Ya police maari, ya koi apni biradari ka sirfira. Sadak ke kinare pade milab,” (I will be killed either in an encounter by police or by my fellow criminals) he stated way back in 2004.

The gangster-turned-politician had won five assembly elections from Allahabad West constituency. During his time in politics, he regularly held informal meetings with local journalists where he would speak to them candidly. In one of these meetings with selected reporters, he made a prediction about his death when asked how he saw his demise given that he is also a criminal.

Sab ko pata hota hai anjaam kya hona hai. Kab tak taala ja sakta hai, yeh sab (contesting election) iski hi jaddojahad hai,” (As criminals, we all know what awaits us. Every day is a struggle to escape it and postpone the inevitable) he had foresighted.

When it was pointed out that he was contesting an election from Phulpur parliamentary seat from where India’s first prime minister Jawahar Lal Nehru had formerly served as a representative, he had responded, “Pandit ji ki tarah hum Naini Jail me bhi rahe hain. Woh kitab likhe wahan, humein apni history-sheet ki wajah se jana pada tha,” (I have also stayed in Naini jail, like Nehru. There, he penned books and I went because of my history-sheet).

Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed were murdered while talking to the media on their way to the hospital. The police arrested three individuals from the spot who surrendered after the killings. However, the state administration suspended several officers due to the incident. Atiq Ahmed apparently once murdered a family member of one of the three assailants.
