The testimonies of multiple victims indicated that the accused Maulvi Ajaz Ahmad Sheikh had a modus operandi where he invited the victims for Islamic religious healing/problem-solving using supposed supernatural methods, isolated them, and then engaged in unnatural sexual acts.

The complaint filed by the victim’s parents states that their daughter was abused on two different occasions between the year 2022 and the year 2024. According to the complaint, on both occasions, Pastor Kamlesh called the victim, then a class 10 student, to his office and sexually abused her.

Bell has been arrested and is currently held at the Sacramento County Main Jail, and his bail bond is placed at $1 million. He is scheduled to appear at court on January 17.

Due to Covid restrictions, the man was kept in a separate room and the responsibility of giving him food and water was given to his eldest daughter who was 13 years old. When his daughter went to give him food, her father raped her.
