A day after a 16-year-old girl was stabbed and bludgeoned to death in the Shahbad Dairy area of the national capital, sources in Delhi Police said that the murder could have be premeditated

The accused Sahil involved in the horrific murder of a minor girl in New Delhi's Shahbad Dairy area was arrested after he made a phone call to his father, police said on Monday. 

In the gruesome murder that took place in the Shahbad dairy area of Delhi, Sakshi was stabbed over 20 times and then her head was crushed using a boulder by Sahil

FIR has been filed under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 147, 149, 186, 188, 332, 353, Section 3 of the PDPP Act, said Delhi Police.

The victim was on her way to attend a birthday party of her friend's son when Sahil stopped her and started attacking her with a knife.
