Be it Hanuman Jayanti, Ram Navami, Maha Shivratri, any other festival or the ongoing protests by Islamists against the Waqf Amendment Act, somehow, Islamists find an excuse for attacking Hindus.

Several videos of the incident surfaced on social media showing two communities clashing. Some individuals were seen pelting stones at the police. In another video, police officers were seen using mild force to disperse the crowd. Amidst the unrest, several youths reached Hanuman Chowk and staged a protest by blocking the road. They demanded strict action against those responsible.

The situation turned violent with several people, including some policemen, sustaining injuries in the stone pelting. Several vehicles were also set on fire by the attackers.

Jitendra Awhad said, "I mean Ram Navami and what is that festival of Maruti? Haan... Hanuman Jayanti. Are these two festivals made for riots only?"

Be it Ram Navami or Hanuman Jayanti, every year, Hindus come under attack when they take their religious processions out and this year was no different.

While there, the procession was chanting slogans like 'Jai Shri Ram', 'Jai Bajrang Bali' and that was when the procession came under attack from around 200 Islamists.
