Ratan Lal’s killing during the Delhi riots and the Republic Day tractor rally violence show how anti-police mobilisation can turn charged protests into direct threats for personnel tasked with maintaining law and order in Delhi.
Osman Faizan Ali, who previously campaigned for AIMIM and Congress, has now latched onto the CJP phenomenon, using provocative social media content to inflame passions and mobilise Indian youth while remaining safely ensconced in the US, thousands of miles away from the consequences.
"People in power are goons and use every available tools, and if these goons are this stupid, then it's only going to violent movement", one CJP supporter wrote on a Reddit post.
CJP held a press conference on Wednesday (3rd June) where the party spopkesperson openly questioned the very idea of seeking prior permission for protests.
