Mubarak Mansuri, a Muslim, used to portray himself as a Hindu and even forged an Aadhar card. He used to specifically target vulnerable Hindu women who approached him seeking remedies for their problems.

Permission to establish a slaughterhouse was sought by an individual identified as Sabir Hussain. Following the judgment, the court ordered the Municipal Council of Mandsaur to issue an NOC to Hussain to set up a slaughterhouse.

During a public hearing on Tuesday, Shankarlal filed an application with the district administration. Dismissing the claims of inaction by officials, the Mandsaur administration clarified that farmer Shankarlal continues to hold possession of the disputed land.

According to the police, on Sunday in Daloda, Mandsaur district, the accused blackmailed the girl and called her to meet with them privately.

As the girl refused to leave Mansuri and refused to stay with her parents, her father called the media and offered her a coffin, further publicly declaring that she was now dead for him and his family.

Rajdeep Sardesai was chased away by locals over an interview with the victim of Mandsaur violence.

Congress party had used the tragic incidents at Mandsaur to indulge in politics as they had targetted the Shivraj Singh Chouhan's BJP government before the elections claiming that the state government had deliberately attacked farmers at Mandsaur. 

The child was abducted, gang-raped and had her throat cut by the perpetrators Irfan and Asif last year. She had to struggle for her life for five months in a hospital.
