One sanitation worked identified as Manjunath has been severely attacked causing injuries to him. A lady worker Geeta was also threatened by the mob while on duty near the mosque premises. The injured sanitation worker has been admitted into a hospital.

The injured were admitted to district hospital, 12 people were detained for attacking the police team.
