As Congress wants to claim credit for BrahMos, one must ask, what did they do with it? The answer is damning. Despite repeated terror attacks, especially the 2008 Mumbai attack (26/11), and countless strikes on Indian soil by Pakistani proxies, Congress never intended to use BrahMos even once.
Soon after a ceasefire understanding was announced on 10th May 2025, Pakistani propaganda machinery came into action to claim that somehow it was the victory of Pakistan’s Operation Bunyan-al-Maroos. In many areas of Pakistan, people burst firecrackers apparently to forget the chagrin caused by the Diwali Indian Armed Forces celebrated in Pakistan with their precision strikes in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, wherein Pakistan-sponsored terrorists killed tourists after religious profiling.
Indian Navy's presence close to Pakistan's coast is part of ongoing Operation Sindoor, a military operation against terrrorists, their launchpads, training centres and handlers operating from Pakistan.
India's High Commissioner to Singapore, Shilpak Ambule confirmed, “The ceasefire happened because the Pakistan DGMO came begging to our DGMO after we bombed 11 of their PAF bases. Only then did they agree.”
The Indian Armed Forces launched an ambitious 'Operation Sindoor' to avenge Pahalgam massacre, a ghastly terror attack carried out by Pakistan-backed terrorists.
Director General Air Operations Air Marshal AK Bharti clarified that India is fighting the terrorists and their support network. The fight is not against the Pakistan military. However, “it is a pity that they chose to intervene, forcing us to respond,” he added.
Pakistan Army named its counter against India’s Operation Sindoor as Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, meaning an impenetrable wall, after a Quranic verse. During a press conference cum propaganda-recycling event on 11th May, a Pakistani journalist asked DG ISPR about whose idea was it to name Pakistan Army counter operation after a Quranic term.
The DGMO and armed forces chiefs confirmed that technical installations, command and control centres, radar sites, and weapon-storage areas were targeted across multiple strategic locations.
