When triggered remotely, these drones flew under radar detection, destroyed billion-dollar aircraft, and exposed the limits of Russia’s air defences. No jet needed to cross the border. Just planning, patience, and a laptop.

While a strong response from Russia to the Ukrainian offensive is almost certain, what is even more certain is the end of hopes of any ceasefire between Russian and a NATO-backed Ukraine in the near future.

The drones flew just a few feet above the ground and provided crystal-clear visuals of Russian bombers and early warning aircraft, including Tu-95s and the A-50. Each drone, carrying precision munitions, struck the targets with remarkable accuracy.

Donald Trump’s frustration with Putin, however, is not limited to mere rhetoric; rather, the US President is contemplating imposing secondary sanctions against Russia.

Interestingly, Trump has also backtracked from his statement in which he committed to bringing the Ukraine-Russia war ongoing for the last three years to an end.

"I am still wiping the egg off my face because I was one person in the parliamentary debate who actually criticized the Indian position at the time back in February 2022," Tharoor said.

"Many leaders of states, among them the President of the People's Republic of China, the Prime Minister of India, the Presidents of Brazil and the Republic of South Africa are addressing this issue and give it a lot of their time. We are grateful to all of them for that because this activity is aimed at achieving a noble mission - the mission of ending hostilities and loss of life", Putin said.

Asserting that Europe must do the heavy lifting in Ukraine, Keir Starmer said, “Not every nation will feel able to contribute, but that can’t mean that we sit back. Instead, those willing will intensify planning now with real urgency."

Zelenskyy expressed regret over the heated argument with Trump. However, on being asked if he would apologise to the US President, he said that he did not believe that an apology was necessary.

Ex-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev also did not hold back and labelled Zelenskyy an 'insolent pig'. He said that the Ukranian President received 'a proper slap down in the Oval Office'.
