A special Bengaluru court convicted Maharashtra resident Hamraz Worshid Shaikh after he pleaded guilty to recruiting vulnerable Indian youth for banned terror outfits Taliban and TTP to wage war against India.

In a strong message, the group said players should “withdraw immediately” from the PSL, claiming their safety cannot be guaranteed.

Pakistan asserted that the attacks were carried out by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Afghan Taliban soliders.
