Visuals of him receiving a warm welcome at the temple wearing garland and scarf surfaced online. The people around him were seen holding placards reading “Hindus for Zohran for New York City”.

In a letter dated August 26, addressed to Dr. S. Jaishankar, the signatories urged India to take a firm stand against what they described as Mamdani’s “Hinduphobic lies” and defamatory remarks about PM Modi and India.

It is this selective framing by media outlets like The Washington Post that contributes to a broader problem: delegitimizing Hindu concerns while sanitizing hate under the convenient banner of political dissent.

Wall Street and business leaders have warned that the policies of Zohran Mamdani could cripple the economy of New York City. Philippe Laffont of Coatue Management has predicted a “wealthy exodus” to low-tax States.

Unsurprisingly, while Zohran Mamdani is projecting himself as a 'progressive' Muslim leader, he is taking support from anti-semitic entities like CAIR, suggests that beyond the façade of a 'progressive' and 'moderate' Muslim candidate fighting for social justice and cutting costs, Mamdani is anti-India, anti-Hindu and anti-Israel Islamist.
