Youth Congress’ magazine caught spreading fake video claiming to be that of WC Abhinandan’s wife

Congress, along with other opposition parties have resorted to playing politics on the current situation at the Indo-Pak border

Hours after we had exposed how Congress workers were spreading a video claiming that to be of Wing Commander Abhinandan’s wife, Youth Congress’ magazine Yuva Desh was also caught peddling the same lie.

The video, which was widely shared even by Congress leaders like Navjot Singh Sidhu, shows a woman who only identifies herself as a wife of an army officer. That itself should prove that she cannot be the wife of Wing Commander Abhinandnan, who is part of the Indian Air Force (not Indian Army). Further, Wing Commander Abhinandan’s wife, Tanvi Marwaha, a former Squadron Leader who retired as a helicopter pilot.

However, Abhinandan’s father had recently come out to issue a statement where he expressed immense pride in his son and the fact that he was serving the nation. He had also requested to leave them alone. It is highly unlikely that Abhinandan’s wife would have released a statement and hence, the videos being spread to blackmail for “peace”, is fake.

However, despite being called out by multiple people on Twitter, Youth Congress’ magazine’s Twitter handle has still not deleted the fake video. The lady in the video is urging political leaders to not use this situation to play political games. Ironically, that is exactly what Yuva Desh and Congress are doing.

Meanwhile, Wing Commander Abhinandan’s family is on its way to receive him as he reaches India later today. As per reports, preparations are underway and last-minute documentation is being carried out.
