PM Modi’s nuclear button remark offends Mehbooba Mufti, she gives a response before Pakistan could

After the BJP expressed the commitment to repeal Articles 370 and 35A in its 2019 manifesto, Mufti threatened that the whole country along with the State of J&K would burn if that happened.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chief, Mehbooba Mufti came out in defence of Pakistan over Prime Minister Modi’s nuclear button remark.

Modi, during a public rally in Barmer, Rajasthan, had said that we are no longer scared of Pakistan’s threats of having a nuclear button. He stated about how India’s strong response to terror attacks had successfully called Pakistan’s nuclear attck bluff.

Taunting Pakistan, PM Modi had said that we also have nuclear bombs and we have not kept them for Diwali.

PM Modi remarks seem to have greatly offended Mufti who has recently been showing her secessionist colours.

Speaking on behalf of Pakistan, Mufti said that even Pakistan has not kept its nuclear bomb for Eid.”Jo Pakistan ke pass honge, vo bhi Eid ke liye nahi rakhe honge. Ye hissab baraabar hota hai”, Mufti said.

After the BJP expressed the commitment to repeal Articles 370 and 35A in its 2019 manifesto, Mufti threatened that the whole country along with the State of J&K would burn if that happened.
