Mamata’s grand plan to defeat BJP: Will put pebbles in mitti ke laddu to break Modi’s teeth

The 2019 Lok Sabha elections have seen three rounds of polls so far and West Bengal has been constantly in the news for poll malpractice and political violence.

Responding to PM Modi’s revelation in his interview with the Bollywood celebrity Akshay Kumar that he shares a cordial relationship with many opposition leaders including Mamata Banerjee, the West Bengal CM today sniped at PM Modi in an election rally in West Bengal’s Asansol.

PM Modi in his interaction with Akshay Kumar had revealed that the West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee occasionally sends Bengali sweets as well as personally selected kurtas for him. Taking a jibe at PM Modi, Mamata Banerjee today said in an election rally that she will send sweets made of soil with pebbles in it just like laddoos are stuffed with cashews and almonds which will break his teeth.

Mounting an attack on PM Modi, Mamata Banerjee further added that PM Modi didn’t visit West Bengal until he realised that he will need votes from West Bengal. However, it is pertinent to note here that Mamata-led TMC government had laid roadblocks on PM Modi and other senior members’ way to avoid them from conducting rallies in the state.

The TMC government had also stopped the BJP from conducting its Rath Yatra. Many BJP leaders like Shivraj Chouhan, Shahnawaz Hussain, and Yogi Adityanath were stopped by the TMC government from landing their choppers and were also denied permission to hold rallies.

The 2019 Lok Sabha elections have seen three rounds of polls so far and West Bengal has been constantly in the news for poll malpractice and political violence. Attacks, murders, and intimidation of political opponents have been rampant in the state, just like the last year’s Panchayat elections.

However, the BJP has stated that it is confident of winning a significant number of seats in West Bengal and this is what is rattling the Mamata government.

As India battles heatwave, opposition and left liberals find a way to blame PM Modi: Here is why their political propaganda melts before facts

India is undoubtedly prone to hot weather, which is triggered by a multitude of interrelated determinants. Heat is trapped close to the surface by meteorological elements, including low winds, high pressure systems and a shortage of cloud cover. A "heat dome" that has confined hot air over the Indo-Gangetic plains and eastern India is also a critical cause. Pre-monsoon heatwaves have been common and consistent in India.
