In the viral clip, New Delhi DCP Sachin Sharma and Joint CP Deepak Purohit can be seen having a serious conversation with CJP spokespersons Saurabh Das and Abhishek Ranka. Rather than taking their concerns seriously, Das appears to brush off the officials.

Reports suggest the video was recorded just before the July 20 protest. In it, senior officers explicitly warn the organizers that the crowd could spiral out of control and that criminal elements were present to cause trouble. They urged the organizers to immediately deploy their own volunteers to keep the peace.
