Nepal PM Sher Bahadur Deoba visits Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi, first leader of a foreign country to do so after the renovation

Nepal PM Sher Bahadur Deoba visited the newly renovated Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi on Sunday. He was accompanied by UP Chief Minsiter Yogi Adityanath during his visit to the city today.

Nepal Prime Minsiter Sher Bahadur Deoba is on a three-day visit to India from Friday. On Sunday, he was received at the Varanasi Airport by CM Yogi Adityanath. Deoba along with his wife Arzoo were seen visiting a host of temples in the city on Sunday morning. He started his visit by worshipping at the age-old Kal Bhairav Mandir. Later, the Nepali PM visited the newly-renovated Kashi Vishwanath Mandir through the new corridor which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in December 2021.

PM Deoba offered prayers at the main sanctum sanctorum of the Kashi Vishwanath Mandir over a brief pooja. Followed by an Abhishek ritual at Kashi Vishwanath, PM Deoba and his wife performed the afternoon Aarti at the Nepali temple in Varanasi. According to history, The temple was built as a replica of Kathmandu’s Pashupatinath Mandir by Rana Bahadur Shah during his exile in the city from 1800 to 1804.

PM Deoba met PM Modi in Delhi yesterday, and they had announced several bilateral initiatives. The fist rail link between India and Nepal was jointed flagged off by both the prime ministers. The duo also jointly launched the RuPay card in Nepal and added a new chapter of financial connectivity between the two countries.

Sher Bhadur Deoba’s temple-run in Varanasi comes hours after a minister from his cabinet reiterated the demand for turning Nepal into a Hindu Rashtra again. Tourism Minsiter Prem Ale said at a function by World Hindu Federation, “If a majority of people are supporting this decision, then the decision can be brought out using referendum.” Ale said that he is ready to give constructive backing if Nepal wants to become a Hindu Rashtra. “If there can be numerous Islamic and Christian countries, then why shouldn’t we think of Hindu Rashtra?” he asked.

The Hindu majority nation was declared as a ‘secular’ state in 2008 after the monarchy was abolished in the country in 2006. The Rise of Deoba as a Prime Minister was catapulted by a split within the Communist parties in Nepal. With Deoba’s Nepali Congress coming to power, Dharmic diplomacy between the India and Nepal is expected to increase.

Punjab Police file FIR against BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga on AAP leader’s complaint, Bagga says he will not stop until Kejriwal apologises

On April 2, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga said in a statement that while he was in Lucknow, Punjab Police arrived at his home in Delhi, presumably to arrest him. He alleged that Punjab Police failed to inform Delhi Police about their arrival in the state, which is against the law. In a recent video statement, Bagga has now challenged Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to register 100 FIRs against him, saying that he would not stop until Kejriwal apologised for his statement against Kashmiri Hindus.

‘Are you happy now after registering FIR?’ questions Bagga

In his statement, Bagga said, “Tell me, Arvind Kejriwal. Are you happy now after registering FIR? Now I am telling you. Do not stop at one and register 100 FIRs against me. You got powers recently. Abuse them as much as you can. But I would like to tell you that even if Raavan’s ego was broken, your ego would face a similar fate.”

He added, “I would like to warn you again. The way you laughed at the genocide of the Kashmiri Pandits. The way you said the story of genocide of Kashmiri Pandits was a lie. You have to apologise. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha would not let you live peacefully till the time you apologise. You have to apologise else we will continue with our protests. You have mocked the largest genocide of Kashmiri Pandits. It was the largest genocide of Kashmiri Pandits that led to an exodus of over 5 lakh Hindus, and you are saying it was a fake story?”

Reminding him what happened to Congress after they denied the existence of Bhagwan Ram, he said, “Similar ego was shown by Congress Party, and they said in an affidavit that Bhagwan Ram does not exist. Today, that party is trying to save its existence. This is why I would like to advise you to control your ego. The party that remained in power with over 400 seats, when they said Bhagwan Ram does not exist, 100 crores Hindus removed them from existence. Today you have questioned the largest genocides of Kashmiri Hindus. I am advising you to apologise else, your existence will become scarce.”

FIR against Tajinder Bagga

Punjab Police was hunting Bagga based on a complaint filed at Cyber Crime Police Station, Mohali. The complaint was filed by Dr Sunny Singh Ahluwalia, Lok Sabha Incharge & Spokesperson, Aam Adami Party. In his complaint, Ahluwalia alleged that Bagga and other unknown persons gave a statement on March 30 in which he instigated his followers to cause violence, use force and cause hurt to Delhi CM Kejriwal and other AAP leaders.

He further alleged that Bagga acted in a predesigned, well planned, orchestrated manner by making/publishing provocative, false, communally divisive and inflammatory statements also to outrage religious feelings and promote disharmony and create feelings of enmity, hatred, ill will etc. He urged Punjab Police to file a case against him under Sections 153, 153A, 505, 505(2), 506, 116 r/w143, 147 etc., of the Indian Penal Code.

Based on the complaint, Punjab Police registered a FIR against Bagga under Sections 153-A (Promoting enmity between different groups on the grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence), 505 (Statements conducing to public mischief), 505(2) (Statements creating or promoting enmity, hatred or ill-will between classes) and 506 (criminal intimidation).

Bagga’s statement of March 30

On March 30, Tajinder Bagga’s statement was played by India TV during coverage of the protest outside CM Kejriwal’s house. In the statement, Bagga said, “The way biggest genocide in India’s history after independence was mocked in Delhi Assembly, and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal claimed the story of Kashmiri Pandit’s genocide on which the movie [The Kashmir Files] was based on was a lie, I feel the 100 crore Hindus will never forgive him.”

He added, “In 2007, Sonia Gandhi had said Bhagwan Ram does not exist and today that party’s existence is in question. Hence, I would like to tell Arvind Kejriwal that the Hindus of this country would tell him where he stands. He must apologise for what he said. If he did not apologise, workers of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morch would not let him live. We would continue our protests till he apologies.”

It is noteworthy that Tajinder Bagga has given the same statement multiple times, and he has specifically said, “Jab tak woh [Arvind Kejriwal] maafi nahi maangte unhein chain se jeene nahi denge”, which translates to “We won’t let him live peacefully till he apologises”. What he said is a very common phrase and there was no threat to life in his statement, but the gist of it was lost in repetition and translation.

Arvind Kejriwal’s statement in Delhi Assembly

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal sparked a controversy after he called ‘The Kashmir Files’ a ‘jhoothi’ or fake film on the floor of the Delhi assembly. Even though the debate was on Delhi’s budget presented by Manish Sisodia, Arvind Kejriwal took his time out to attack the film. He tried to do damage control later in an interview with Times Now, but by then, Kashmiri Pandits and Hindus at large had started criticising him for his insensitive remarks.

Mumbai Police arrest MNS leader for playing ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ on loudspeakers

The Mumbai Police arrested Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Mahendra Bhanushali for playing ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ on loudspeakers without permission.

According to the reports, MNS leader Mahendra Bhanushali had set up loudspeakers outside the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena office in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area to play ‘Hanuman Chalisa’. The party had installed speakers after MNS chief Raj Thackeray had warned to play Hanuman Chalisa on loudspeakers outside mosques if they did not remove loudspeakers for Azaan.

However, the Maharashtra government led by Uddhav Thackeray seems to have taken offence to the ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ slogans played over loudspeakers and arrested the MNS leader for his act.

Following his arrest, Mahendra Bhanushali said that the Mumbai police took away his speaker. “But I’d like to say, in the coming times, ‘Jai Shree Ram’ will be played on loudspeakers,” he said.

“No one takes permission, it isn’t just me. So action should be taken on everyone if it’s taken on me. The police did their job. Raj (Thackeray) Sahab says, never say anything to the police. Action should be taken wherever loudspeakers are used,” MNS leader Mahendra Bhanushali further added.

Raj Thackeray issues stern warning to mosques

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray addressed the annual Gudi Padwa gathering of his party on 2nd April 2022 at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.

In his fierce style, Raj Thackeray warned that if the government did not decide anything about the loudspeakers in the mosques, he would put double loudspeakers in front of the mosques and chant Hanuman Chalisa.

He also said that if the police properly check the mosques and madrasas in the slums of Mumbai, they will get to know many things. He also underlined the changing demographics of Mumbai and other places of Maharashtra and alleged that so many Muslims from Pakistan and Bangladesh have come and settled here.

Raj Thackeray had remarked, “I don’t oppose one’s right to pray, but the loudspeakers on the mosques must be removed. I request the government to get them removed. Otherwise, I tell this right now, we will put double loudspeakers to chant Hanuman Chalisa right in front of those mosques.”

“Which religion mentions loudspeaker? Was there any loudspeaker when your religion was invented?” he further emphasised.

Prominent Pakistanis slam Imran Khan for subverting the constitutional process during the no-confidence motion

Minutes after the no-confidence motion against the Imran Khan-led PTI government was declared ‘unconstitutional’ by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, prominent Pakistanis took to Twitter to slam Khan for undermining the constitutional process.

In a tweet, Executive Editor of Nayadaur Media, Murtaza Solangi remarked, “What a deranged man. Imran Khan has committed treason. He is the genuine traitor.”

Imran Khan’s former wife Reham Khan dubbed him as ‘Mini Trump.’ She wrote, “Grace is not a word that exists in Kuptaan (former captain of the Pakistan cricket team) dictionary!

Following the political fiasco in the Pakistani National Assembly, travel writer Salman Rashid recounted how an American trekker told him in 1988 that the situation of Pakistan was unlikely to change even after the death of Pakistani military dictator Muhammad Zia ul Haq.

“Among them a pipsqueak American. Said I was stupid to think anything good will happen for Pakistan, I threw my pack and went for the bastard. I was still foolishly patriotic. The surveyors and my German friends restrained us both,” he said.

“That madarch*d American knew something we still don’t. Three-quarters of a century we’ve either had duffers telling us we’ve come to the crossroads or we’ve had bumblers. Seems we’ve been marking time at the crossroads. Never moved an inch forward,” Rashid concluded.

Pakistani Journalist Syed Talat Hussian pointed out that Imran Khan is reluctant to vacate the Prime Minister’s House and has resorted to blatant violation of the Pakistani Constitution.

He informed, “After meeting Imran Khan in the PM House, deputy speaker of the National Assembly, Qasim Suri, declares the opposition’s no confidence to be illegal as it is a foreign conspiracy.”

“Imran Khan with his unconstitutional action damaged democracy more than he can begin to imagine. His choice of midgets to be his advisors has finally been the last nail in his political coffin. This will not do any good to the popularity of his party that he had built over years,” tweeted Pakistani journalist Mubahser Lucman.

He also pointed out the ‘stupidity’ of PTI workers for congratulating each other after dissolving their own government.

Journalist Reema Omer pointed out, “There are no ifs and buts: The Speaker’s ruling is blatantly unconstitutional. Imran Khan has no authority to advise the President to dissolve the National Assembly. Dissolving the assembly on the advice of a person who has no authority to do so has no constitutional basis.”

The no-confidence motion and political fiasco in Pakistan National Assembly

Shehbaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and brother of former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, tabled a no-confidence motion against Imran Khan’s government in the National Assembly on March 8.

The resolution of no confidence was passed against Imran Khan in the midst of surging inflation and dire economic conditions in Pakistan. While the National Assembly was readying for the no-confidence voting on Sunday (April 3), Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri dismissed the motion.

He claimed that the motion was inspired at the behest of an unnamed “foreign power” and therefore it was unconstitutional. This discretion by the deputy speaker came after Minister of Information Fawad Chaudhry made a statement in the assembly stating that the no-confidence motion was an effective operation for regime change by a foreign government.

Following the development, Imran Khan in a televised address said that he has recommended the President of Pakistan to dissolve the national assembly and call for fresh elections.

Pakistan: After no-confidence motion dismissed, opposition occupies speaker’s chair and passes the motion, elects PML(N) chief Shehbaz Sharif as PM

The drama in Pakistan’s National Assembly does not appear to be ending anytime soon. In an unexpected action following the decision of the Deputy Speaker of the national assembly to dismiss the no-confidence motion against the Imran Khan govt and suspend the session, the opposition resumed session of the assembly in protest of the deputy speaker’s decision and elected Shehbaz Sharif as the new Prime Minister.

The opposition appointed Ayaz Sadiq as the Speaker of the National Assembly and resumed the no-confidence vote against the incumbent government led by Imran khan. Sherry Rehman, who is a member of the assembly, tweeted a video stating that a total of 197 members voted for the motion.

After the deputy speaker had dismissed the no-confidence motion and the session was prorogued, the opposition MPs remained in the house, even as they moved Supreme Court Against the deputy speaker and prime minister Imran Khan. Amid applaud by the opposition MPs, PML(N) MP Ayaz Sadiq occupied the speaker’s chair and announced resumption of business in the house. He reactivated the no-confidence motion dismissed by the deputy speaker and put it to vote, which was voted in favour of the motion as the ruling party MPs had already left the house.

After that, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) chief Shehbaz Sharif, who is also the brother of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, was elected as the leader of the house and was declared the Prime Minister.

It should be noted, however, that this is a protest move, which is against the rules of the house. Despite today’s session was prorogued, Ayaz Sadiq was named speaker, and Shahbaz Sharif addressed the house as Prime Minister. According to the regulations, only the Speaker or the President can call the session after it has been prorogued.

Some photos also surfaced on social media where it can be seen that the lights of the assembly were turned off after the ruckus erupted in the house.

All of this follows after the Deputy Speaker of the House rejected a no-confidence resolution against the Imran Khan-led PTI government. While the National Assembly was preparing to vote on a no-confidence resolution, Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri dismissed it. He read from a prearranged note claiming the motion was prompted at the behest of an unknown “foreign power,” and hence it is unconstitutional.

Following the rejection of the no-confidence resolution, the opposition parties declared that they will file a petition with the Supreme Court against the deputy speaker and the prime minister. The Supreme Court of Pakistan, on the other hand, is said to have taken Suo Moto notice of the matter.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan has already advised the president to dissolve the national assembly, and called for fresh elections.

No Muslim reporters detained at Hindu Mahapanchayat, Delhi Police clarify they sat in PCR van out of free will to evade crowd

Delhi Police has refuted claims of The Quint reporter Meghnad Bose that Muslim journalists were detained by Delhi Police while they were on the ground covering The Hindu Mahapanchayat event in Delhi. On Sunday, Bose had claimed that Police had taken him into custody including ‘four other Muslim journalists’ after they were ‘assaulted’ by a Hindu mob at the event.

The Hindu Mahapanchayat event was organised by Save India Foundation at Buradi ground in Delhi on Sunday. Poster of the event which details agenda of the meet demands resolution on issues like freeing temples from government control, the bill on banning forced religious conversions, Uniform Civil Code, etc. Quint Journalist Meghnad Bose who claims to have reported the event informed that Muslim Journalists named Meer Faisal and Mohd Meharban were ‘assaulted’ by a Hindu Mob at the event. He also termed the gathering as an ‘anti-muslim hate speech event’ taking place in Delhi.

Furthermore, Bose claimed that He and four other journalists who happened to be Muslims were detained by Delhi Police. As noted by him on Twitter, all the journalists were detained by the Delhi Police in a police vehicle.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, North-West Delhi was quick to state facts to refute Meghnad Bose’s claims. She tweeted, “Some of the reporters, willingly, on their own free will, to evade the crowd which was getting agitated by their presence, sat in PCR Van stationed at the venue and opted to proceed to Police Station for security reasons. No one was detained. Due police protection was provided.” According to DCP North-West Delhi, The allegations of ‘assault’ as claimed by Bose were when Hindu activists objected to the presence of the journalists, in what happened to be an overtly ‘Hindu’ function.

Moreover, the DCP stated that police protection was provided to the journalists when they willingly climbed the Police van for protection. While no journalists during the event were detained by the Police, as claimed by Bose, the DCP said that due necessary action shall be initiated against those for spreading misinformation. If it is to be noted, Meghnad Bose from the Quint was earlier accused under #MeToo charges in 2018, when a woman accused him of indulging into misappropriate behaviour while she was under the influence of alcohol.

Interestingly, after Meghnad Bose made the allegations on Twitter, the official Twitter handle of Pakistan Consulate General Vancouver replied to him with tagging several Twitter accounts. The official Pakistani didn’t include any comment in the reply, but tagged official accounts of Human Rights bodies, UN, EU etc.

Netizens demand that NCERT drop a chapter in school textbook written by Delhi riots accused Harsh Mander

Netizens took to social media recently to express their shock at the decision of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), the premier educational body that prepares and publishes textbooks used by schools across India, to include a chapter written by far-left ‘activist’ and Anti-Hindu Delhi riots accused Harsh Mander.

Saket Suryesh, author and columnist, shared a screenshot of an NCERT English textbook of Class XI to highlight that he found an essay written by Harsh Mander, a person accused of money laundering. The author also sarcastically said that the essay written by brilliant literary person Mander has been interspersed between “smaller writers” like O. Henry and Oscar Wilde.

The textbook also carries essays and chapters written by authors such as Mulk Raj Anand, RK Lakshman, Ruskin Bond, etc.

The American writer William Sydney Porter, better known by his pen name O. Henry, and Irish writer Oscar Wilder are considered to be among the greatest short-story writers and playwrights in the world.

Saket Suryesh expressed his shock that the NCERT, the autonomous body that decides on the contents of the textbooks, had decided to include a chapter written by Harsh Mander, a notorious anti-Hindu propagandist close to Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and an accused in the Anti-Hindu riots case.

The screenshot shared by Saket Suryesh showed that NCERT has carried an essay – ‘Weathering The Storm In Ersama’, written by Harsh Mander, based on a true story of the adventures of a teenager Prashant during his stay at cyclone-hit Odisha.

Another social media user also took a pot shot at NCERT for including a chapter written by a riot-accused. Anand Kumar said it was wonderful to see literary giants like Harsh Mander find a place in the English textbooks of NCERT.

As it was revealed that the NCERT textbooks contained content written by Harsh Mander, social media expressed their disappointment by highlighting his role in instigating Muslims to resort to violence during the Anti-CAA riots that culminated in the Ant-Hindu riots in the national capital in February 2021 leading to the death of 53 people.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that social media users have flagged this issue. For over two years, netizens have complained to the Modi government and the NCERT to exclude content written by individuals such as Harsh Mander. However, it seems like their appeals have fallen on deaf years as NCERT still continues to carry essays written by people associated with criminal activities, such as Harsh Mander.

Last year, Mohit Agarwal had also raised a similar objection against NCERT’s decision to include an essay written by Harsh Mander.

However, despite several complaints raised by the parents and social media users, the NCERT has not taken any action to remove content written by far-left entities accused of instigating riots in the country.

The chapter has been included in the textbook titles Moments, a supplementary reader in English for class IX students. According to the information displayed in the Class XI English textbook, the chapter was first included by the NCERT in the year 2006, during the Manmohan Singh government. Ever since then, the chapter has continued to remain in the curriculum. The content has remained the same for the last 15 years, and no changes have been made in the previous eight years despite several people raising objections against the inclusion of Harsh Mander’s works in the school curriculum.

Who is Harsh Mander?

Controversial far-left-wing ‘activist’ Harsh Mander is one of the leading faces of the anti-Hindu establishment in the country. Harsh Mander had worked in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) for almost two decades and quit the services’ in protest’ against the ‘state-sponsored riots’ in Gujarat in 2002.

Since he left the IAS, Harsh Mander has indulged in suspicious activities under the guise of ‘civil society’ organisations. Among his many contributions, he has worked as the country director of ActionAid India. However, he is most famous for his service in Sonia Gandhi’s National Advisory Council (NAC), which drafted the anti-Hindu Communal Violence Bill.

Presently, Harsh Mander is the Director of the Centre for Equity Studies (CES). It has received funds from Christian Evangelical Organizations, and he has openly batted for religious conversions in the past.

Harsh Mander is also a known Ishrat apologist, the female LeT operative who was killed in an encounter along with three others by Crime Branch Officials in Gujarat. He was also one of the individuals who had signed a mercy petition for the Mumbai Attack Terrorist Yakub Memon and was among the 203 persons who had signed the mercy petition for Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab and had signed the mercy petition for Afzal Guru also.

Harsh Mander was also one of the forty ‘activists’ who had filed a review petition in the Court against the Ayodhya Verdict that has paved the way for a Bhavya Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.

In addition, Harsh Mander’s role in instigating the Anti-Hindu Delhi riots, particularly the violence around the Jamia Millia Islamia campus in December 2019, has been under scrutiny for some time now. During a protest march, Harsh Mander, who is associated with billionaire George Soros, was seen inciting mobs to hit the streets to protest against the country.

Mander was heard saying how there is no scope for secularism in the Supreme Court, especially after the Ayodhya verdict. Speaking to a gathering in Delhi, the foreign-funded activist was seen inciting the mob, calling them to descend on the streets to decide for themselves based on the show of strength. Mander claimed that the time has now come for people to hit the streets as both Supreme Court and parliament have failed them.

Harsh Mander, with his organisation ‘Karwaan-e-Mohabbat’, had published a report on the violence at the Aligarh Muslim University that absolved the students of all sins and peddled numerous lies against the Uttar Pradesh Police. Harsh Mander had also promised to register himself as a Muslim if the CAA was passed. He has also spread great lies about the NRC in the past and the foreign tribunals in Assam.

Shockingly, despite the fact that all his anti-Hindu propaganda is out in public, NCERT has not so far considered scrutinising its decision to include his chapter in the textbooks.

UP resident Ehsan Mian requests Yogi Adityanath govt to raze his illegal residence built on pond and graveyard

Bulldozing of illegal properties became the new identity of Uttar Pradesh as Yogi Adityanath gave special attention to the law and order situations of the state while pacing it up on the tracks of all-around development. Just like the criminals surrendered in the police stations holding placards pleading not to encounter them, illegal property holders are now requesting the government to demolish their illegal properties. One such case appeared in Mitrapur Ehrola village under tehsil Shahabad of Rampur district when Ehsan Mian, a local citizen filed an application himself and appealed SDM Ashok Choudhary to demolish his own illegally built house fearing the bulldozing action by the government.

Initial investigations revealed that Ehsan Mian’s claim is true. His house is built partly on a dried pond and partly on the graveyard. Both these properties belong to the government and the waqf board respectively. According to a report by the Times of India, Ehsan Mian said, “We are staying in the house for nearly two generations. In our plot map, I recently found that the house was built illegally on the property of the waqf and the government. So I decided to file the application to demolish it.”

SDM Ashok Choudhary said, “Several homes in Mitrapur Ehrola village under tehsil Shahabad of Rampur district are built on dried-up ponds and graveyards. After a survey of the village, the administration found out that such land cannot be kept. We are now compelled to take action. Official notices will be sent to them soon.”

Dinesh Kumar is the tehsildar of Shahabad. He said, “The village is spread across over 200 hectares. People have been living here for more than 50 years. The SDM has shared with us the information and the administration will take appropriate measures to vacate government land. Nearly 50 families may be affected during the process. The administration has decided to provide land to some of the poor families to make their own houses.”

On the other hand, Ehsan Mian’s voluntary step of requesting the administration to demolish his illegal house has angered many in the village who have such illegal houses. Ehsan Mian sought protection from the local administration to save himself from being a target of the enraged villagers. Yogi Adityanath has repeatedly reminded people of the firm actions against miscreants and running bulldozers over illegally built properties in his speeches during the campaigning of the recently held assembly elections of Uttar Pradesh in which he returned to power with a thumping majority.

MNS plays ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ on loudspeaker outside its office, Raj Thackeray had earlier warned to put such speakers outside mosques

On Sunday (April 3), the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) played ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ at high decibels from loudspeakers that are installed at its office in Ghatkopar in Mumbai.

The development comes a day after MNS chief Raj Thackeray had warned to play Hanuman Chalisa on loudspeakers outside mosques if they do not remove loudspeakers for Azaan.

In a video shared by news agency ANI, a loudspeaker can be seen affixed to a tree outside the MNS office.
